Difficult beginning, hoping it pays off (update: it gets better)

I found Win’s character to be very off-putting in the first episode. To the point where I’m not sure I want to continue. But I will.

He treats his supposed best friend terribly, when presumably he should know Korn’s character better than that. His behavior towards his sister afterwards is straight-up abusive. I’m sure there’s a backstory to this behavior, but I don’t think I care. Hopefully some redemption will follow, because right now all I see are red flags. And not the exciting kind.

Acting is good. I felt the bond between Win and Korn, and there were several scenes that showed stronger emotions. Their chemistry is great.

Update: I’m on episode 3 now and it is much more enjoyable. Like a different character. I won’t say much more, but the chemistry of all three in the triad is very good. Impressed with the woman that plays Lin.

So, if you were upset after the first episode and happen to see this, give it a shot.

It exceeded my expectations

Great first episode. The acting of the whole cast is on point, especially Mix. I'm impressed and intrigued to see how the story will unfold!

SPOILERS

Love the way Win and Korn are so close. I hope they explain their friendship and how Korn got to work on the farm. Don't really like how Win just thought bad about Korn after the will was read, and his aunt said something. I believe that Korn asked Win's dad if he would be OK if he asked Win out, and that's the part that we see in the flash back of Win's father hugging Korn. The dad was ok with it, but he ended up dying before that could happen. Win's attitude towards his mother and sister is so bad. They are scared of him. Korn's boss was hitting on him, and he made a quick exit when his phone rang. The ending when Win fell into Korn's arms, made it seem like Korn could see him as his self and not his sister. I can't wait to see how all this plays out. Also, we see the sisters body? His mind is in her body so is her mind in his body? If not how do they explain where his body is?
