Cute & Sweet
This drama was really sweet and to the point...it’s the same old story - two cute guys pinning for each other because they suck at communicating their feelings. It should be all cute fluff, pure entertainment, feel-good watch. The story of Kluen and Daonuea is a classic tale of meeting your high school crush after entering college and falling in love .
There were some really bad points to this drama, especially when dao acted a little immature over the situation with Kluen and Gia, and understanding the franticness in Kluen voice, also the whole idea of lets do one date, when you knew full well that you were not interested, and stringing them along instead of just setting the record state from the start.
Kluen was cute to watch after 2moons2, so that was pleasant enough and possibly the only reason why I carried on watching it.
Overall: It was kind of sweet and cute, and looking forward to Fah story, hopefully this one will a little better and more mature.

BRO. Ok. The amount of emotions Ive gone through in these SIX episodes! Ive gone from screaming into my pillow, choking my pillow out, and almost crying. I SWEAR I CANT ITS TOO MUCH GIVE ME FLUFF. Anyways, though the main character, Daos acting isnt the best, I can sit with it and it doesnt make me uncomfortable. Ive seen sosososo many negative comments in the comment section, but let me just say that I havent felt anything negative towards this show while watching (except towards the main characters, of course) THE AMOUT OF STRESS I WENT THROUGH IN EPISODE 5, I WAS CHOKING OUT MY BLANKET WITH THE AMOUT OF FEELINGS. What I dont like is the "does he like me? I like him" WHEN HE'S SAID HE'S LIKED YOU SO MANY TIMES ALREADY. Otherwise, this show has been one of the best Ive watched in 2022, and I wasnt really expecting much from it. Its a standard thai bl drama, and its just a great watch. If you havent watched it, do it! No, its not the best, but its great to add to the watch list. ALSO JOONG, (actor who plays khun) IS SOSOSOSOOSOSOOO FINEEEEE like the most handsome actor ive seen. I FELL IN LOVE
I absolutely love this show. From the very beginning I fell in love with the story, the leads, the chemistry that they share. OMG it makes my heart flutters with every single episode. The comedy of this show is so cute. I love it so much and rooting for Kluen & Dao. I have never re watched a episodes so fresh out as I have with this one. GMMTV you are doing a great job with this one. I can't wait for next week episode. Until then I will be re-watching the episodes until the next one is out. A lighthearted watch
I loved this <3 It's not in a Bad Buddy or Not Me level (not even close) but I still loved it. Like it's sweet and got me giggling and all. And I honestly loved to see Joong in a main role (I don't know if it's just me but his eyes give me all the feelings that his character was feeling). What I liked the most was the cast and the calm and non-toxic storyline. This series is something to watch when you wanna have a lighthearted and warm ride. And the friends, mwuah <33Cast/acting: Cast was amazing, acting ok
Music: It was good, but didn't really catch my attention
Rewatch value: I don't rewatch series (excpet for UWMA, DSN and WBL)
Overall it was a nice, lovely watch. Nothing special but a good way to spend your time if you don't have anything else to do. I really liked it and can't wait to see the next season <3

A simple story but executed so badly
This gotta be the most basic ass series I have watched in a long time. So the story is a story old as time. Boy likes boy, boy tired of chasing boy, boy tries to get over the other boy but the now the other boy wants him and tries to get him back. So how did they ruin such a basic ass plot? There is one thing that I hate in this series. Its the lack of consent. Its 2022 and people still try pass kissing without consent romantic or acceptable in a series. NO, its not cute and it would never would be. Another thing that I hate is the dragging. It drags the story much with the misunderstandings. Like if the Kluen actually spoke and use his words even once it would have ended so many episodes ago. Now the acting.... to be honest, I like Dunk but boi his acting was kinda bad..The parts where he had to get emotional like being angry and crying were especially weird. I would laugh since I couldn't tell if he was about to sneeze or cry lol. GMMTV need to stop hiring actors for lead role if they cannot act, just because they are attractive doesn't cut it. I do hope he get better tho, cause I like Dunk and Joong's chemistry. The music is nice have no complains whats over. Joong has a nice voice. Now the rewatch value is high cause there are alot of cute moments. Overall, it was not bad not good but just ok. It started out nice but felt flat in the middle. Not Everyone's Favorite Star (but I loved it, so~)
Story: 8.5/10This is another "I liked him first, but he fell harder and just happens to be dumber" situation, which can make it seem a bit predictable, but I think it's still cute~ The first few episodes start out SO STRONG. I loved the way Daonuea and his friends interacted, and the way his sibling relationship was shown; it was so heartwarming and wholesome and just overall accurate. The way they support Dao while also knowing he was full of shit when he said he was over his crush was best-friend-level-tier, you know? The conflict was a bit... much. This story, like many of BLs, suffers from a lack of communication. Well, I should say PROPER communication, as Kluen is more of a doer than a sayer, which pretty much sums up all of their problems. His actions speak louder and way better than his words, but that's not always enough, especially when the other party was explicit and you kinda-not-really-but-technically-did turn them down. If that sounded confusing to you, then that's because it really is a bit confusing. One of the side characters says that Kluen is "book smart but a dumbass," and she's right. These characters are a bit too complex to try to fit into 8 episodes, but I think Dunk (Daonuea) and Joong (Kluen) did great with what they had, which is why I, despite hating the miscommunication, still enjoyed the show~
Acting/Casting: 10/10
We got all of my new favorite actors, even the side characters are some of my favs, so I'm a bit biased here, but I think they did great with what they had. Everyone felt so necessary, even Noel, whom I thought was just an extra to show that Kluen had a friend aside from Gia, ended up being an important player in an interesting way~
Music: 9/10
The OST is good, and there's nothing wrong with the background music or anything; I generally just tend to rate music based on how many songs I absolutely NEED to get on my playlist, and, with all of these great shows coming out with their soundtracks being ON-POINT, I'm spoiled. I felt generous since everyone keeps talking shit on this show, though, so I gave it a higher rating than I probably would have.
Rewatch Value: 10/10
Despite it's flaws and the annoying miscommunication, I still really enjoyed this show. Like I said, the first few episodes were so good and sweet that I had to go to the dentist and get some teeth pulled from the cavities lmao KluenNuea's moments were fluffy and hit just the right spot that I just.. Ugh. So good. I'm actually writing this review after watching 5 times to help boost the rating since DramaList tends to be super harsh on shows for some reason~ (Everyone wishes they were a Critic Writer, I suppose ?♀️)
Overall: 9.5/10
People on DramaList really do think they're connoisseurs with shows sometimes, especially when others really like specific actors. I'm not entirely sure why, but if the rating of the show is the only thing making you hesitate to watch this, then I recommend going for it anyway. It's not everyone's cup of tea, of course, but it's also only 8 episodes, so it's a short, cute watch when you need some BL or JoongDunk in your life -- it doesn't have to be serious or something you binge, though I absolutely did binge it several times with no shame~ The production was great, the OST was good, the acting was on-point, and I just love how everyone interacts with each other in this drama, from the romance to the friendships; it's all so fluffy and sweet~

wow! I'm in shock at all the bad reviews of this drama. it saddens me to see people not bother watching simply because others said not to. on that note, I will say that most reviews are personal opinions and should be taken that way. my personal opinion, I absolutely loved this series! I started with Sky in Your Heart which is the sequel where you see Daoneua's brother, Kuafah, get his story. That was hands down one of my favorite stories! Mek is drop dead gorgeous and an amazing actor! as far as this series goes, you can't go wrong with JoongDunk. yes, the story is one that we most likely all know. miscommunication. if you're an avid bl watcher like myself, you're bound to come across tropes. frankly, to expect high schoolers/college students to be experts at love is ridiculous. they're gonna be awkward and make mistakes. I 100/10 recommend this series and I 1000/10 recommend watching sky in your heart immediately after!Was this review helpful to you?
i finished this months ago but i have to say this
after seeing this series be hyped up like crazy on my tiktok fyp, i finally decided to watch it, and now i wish i didnt. i keep rewatching it like crazy. i have formed some sort of attachment to the characters idk how to deal with. i Never rewatch anything after in done with it bc i just dont have the patience for it. however i could watch this series 5 times back to back and i would still enjoy it like its my first time.theres nothing showstopping about the plot, its a pretty common thai bl plot, idk what sets it apart from other bls but its just. Different.
i just had to write this review and get these words off of my chest because ive been thinking of writing this review since the morning, where i decided to rewatch it for the 6th time.

better than the other one but not by a lot
That ending told me that I should have watched this one first instead of Star and Sky: Sky in Your Heart. The other one has an 8.5, but this one I think is better. Its average was 8.3. I am supposed to be working on a research paper, but whatever. I love jealous ones; I am just going to say it. It shows they care, and I know it's so toxic, but they are so good. The reviews shouldn't be this low. It's not a bad show; there are no serious plot twists that make no sense. like it was expected, and that made me happy. I love these actors to death. Daonuea being worried about Kluen having a crush on him now because he likes him. I understand that. There were a lot of valid concerns that were relatable, and I liked that about it. The drunk scenes were consistent, and I like when dramas are consistent with their shit. Some characters actually served no purpose, but that's okay. Fah being that protective older brother was actually so cute. He cares so much, and it makes me happy. Dao saying that he's his brother but no one is listening was funny. Fah is my king, and there were a lot of moments with him and Dao, but we needed more older trouble with serotonin. It was adorable. It's not a bad show; it gets an 8 out of 10 stars from me. The chemistry between JoongDunk is through the roof! Before we even get a few minutes into the first episode, the two of them are giving each other love eyes. I think they both did an amazing job portraying their characters’ emotions. Even though Kluen (Joong’s character) does appear a bit cold at times, he shows a lot through his eyes.Their friends are probably the most supportive and patient group of people ever. Kluen and Dao keep going around in circles when it comes to their feelings and relationship. I can’t even imagine the amount of times the rest of the boys got to hear them moaning about their emotions. And yet they never ignore them. They are full of suggestions, some more helpful than others, but they never discourage Kluen and Dao. And the fact that Dao’s brother and Kluen’s mother probably know everything about the two is adorable!
Kluen & Dao: I am a sucker for second chance romances. As well as the right person at the wrong time plots. I feel like the story of Kluen and Dao is both of those and I was definitely here for that. Kluen is aware that he absolutely sucks at talking about his emotions, so hearing him tell that to Dao was really nice. I don’t think Kluen is cold or arrogant, but I do think he is more of an introvert. He has one close friend, Noel, and he is not one who really enjoys participating in events or meeting new people. This also might tie into the fact that he finds it hard to express his emotions to others. Dao is a bit more of a social butterfly. He can be shy, don’t get me wrong, but I think he finds it easier to make friends and there is something about him that makes people comfortable around him. I really think that the two are a good match for each other.
Let’s talk about Typhoon. I really hope he gets his happy ending at some point (Our sky 2, I am looking at you). He is a genuinely good person who wishes happiness for the ones he cares about, even if it means he is not the source of their happiness. He had his moments, I admit that, but he is still a character I really enjoyed watching. The fact he didn’t get into a relationship right away also speaks volumes about his character. He is not looking for a rebound, he is looking for his perfect match. Which is a very mature thing to do. And the right one too.
The locations are beautiful. The OST has this soft sound to it that I really enjoyed as well.

Typical BL and almost borderline of Cringe + Boring
I have so much high expectation of this since the director is New but it almost disappoint me a little bit after the climax of the plot. I mean I understand how Kluen's character were supposed to be but honestly, I wish he could show more expression like how he is so frustrated at himself for not knowing how to expression his feelings better. The tears I am seeing is not enough, its not sufficient. Joong is like a doll who produce tears but thats it. I'm not sure if its his acting or Kluen's character is really like that but I wish there is something more you know? I am really glad its just 8 episodes cause if its 12 episodes, bruh, i might die out of bored. I wish there are more heart throbbing scenes where Kluen is the one that help Dao with his assignments or take care of him in secret but its just blergh. I am a little bit disappointed to be honest but the way the plot develop before it reaches their climax really good. I feel so frustrated and Kluen for not saying anything so I guess that's good, right?I HATE DAO'S CHARACTER SO MUCH. Okay for someone that have a crush, he surely doesn't act like it. He looks like Kluen is the one that been chasing him. I mean there is no love in their relationship. Something is just NOT IT. When your crush said they like you back, shouldn't you feel butterflies or feel joy overload? But Dao is just.. oh okay. Nice, bruh. Like????? If you want to know how you were supposed to react, you really should watch 2 Moons ( the first one ) and the way Wayo shows how much he likes Phana really portrays how someone should act with their crush. But Dao? Not feeling it. I am sorry but I think they can do better than this because I like seeing them together but.. what is this???

KISS SCENES? LIKE BRUH. I feel so disappointed with their kiss scenes. Like WHAT IS THIS BRUHHH???? Kiss scenes are like what? 3 - 5 scenes only? But it's more like a peck and not like a real kiss. I don't feel it. Im sorry but I just don't. What is going on and why aren't they kiss passionately? Like fuck that shit 'we have innocent love'. BRUH. The kiss is just merely pressing against each other lips that's it. Im sorry but i am not loving it.
Overall, I think good actors, so-so plot, disappointing plot development.
