It could have been better...
The first 2 episodes were amazing and I only hoped for more, but the plot confused me over and over again. It was generally marketed as a love story of her finding her special one in her 19th life, then it turned into a story about grief and how her loved ones were hurting even long after their loved one was gone, then it turned into a murder mystery, then an inheritance war, then another mystery of her trying to remember her past life.
All I'm saying is as good as the plot was they tried to do too much and gave so little back. I wished they fleshed out the story and actually put in little details for it to make sense.
Another problem I had with this drama was that, the dialogue in this drama lacked a lot of chemistry for what it was supposed to be, I couldn't help but but feel bored and zoning out when ever a conversation was happening, the characters seemed so bland when ever they spoke, if they used only facial expressions to act it would have been better than the dialogue I was hearing, the only chemistry I was fond of was between the FL and her sister.
From someone who hasn't read the webtoon, I can understand the Studio Dragon had to make due with what they had but overall I only liked the production (nothing less from this studio), a really beautiful drama but not up to par for what it was supposed to be.
I'll probably give it another chance and rewatch it in the future.
I'll give it a 6 because of the actors

Good story but the end was kind of dissapointing
I will not say much just the necessary. The story captivated me since the beginning and the chemistry between the two protagonists (child and adults) was always on point, that said I think the drama really have a story to be a 16 episodes show. What dissapointed me was that in the end things were solved so fast that it seemed they were rushed to finish.First, the uncle of Mun-Ha that just admitted his crimes without even think about it, went to jail and that was the end of all the accident story, we didn't saw of something happened with Ji eun's father, if he was caught or not, what happened to her brother, I kind of wanted that he could see that his daughter was the person he killed, and other thing is that the drama shows that his truck was sabotaged and he says that the accidents happened in that magnitude because of the frente system but is just this, it doesn't evolve in anything more.
Second after all this things become faded to end, around episode 10 I was kinda bored because the plot was all solved. The situation in the end was confusing because how can everyone know who she is but not herself, and she just continue doing everything she did before but the principal person of her life that is her mom (the circus uncle) just dissappears of her mind, did she just forget all her infancy? but then how is she in the same place she is today? She cannot say she was with her biological family because their memories were not changed just hers. Also for Cho-won and Mr.Ha, they were all the story saying they could not be together and then one episode they simple forget everything and start being a couple, I was passed with this because there were no development of their characters to arrive in this point of their relationship.
And for the last part I think that it lacked a lot of informatiom about Min-gi and Han-na characters, in the end we continue not knowing who Min-gi is, just that he was someone that was in his 23rd life. Is he still a shaman? Maybe a guide that take other souls that are suffering to complete their journey? We will never know.
.
But despite me over analyzing things it is a good drama. To be honest the soundtrack was what catched my eyes (or ears) first. I heard Colde's music Star on YouTube and that was how I came to see the drama. It is a good story to pass the time, it's new, fresh and kinda cute. I recommend you to watch and take your own conclusions.

Show with promising concept, but it fell short of expectations
I just finished watching this drama and I have to agree with many others that the second half was a bit disappointing. The climax felt like lazy writing and if I hadn't watched it all in one go, I don't think I would have been able to finish it.However, I did love the OST. It had a heartwarming quality to it. The chemistry between the lead actors was okay, not great but not terrible either.
The memory loss of the female lead at the end was a bit sad but, I don't think she could have lived a normal life if she remembered all of her painful past. I do wish she could remember her 19th life at least.
Overall, the drama was decent, featuring a fantastic concept, but unfortunately, it fell short in its execution and storyline.

Story was so good..
An absolutely beautiful show, *See You in My 19th Life* has surpassed all the other kdramas I've seen thus far. It is exquisitely crafted, with every moment captivating and delightful. The inclusion of *Star by Colde*, adds an extra layer of soothing charm. Interestingly, I had listened to this song even before watching the drama, and it truly complements the storytelling. The show starts off on a high note, skillfully weaving and entangling its storyline without resorting to the typical love triangles found in other kdramas. Moreover, it successfully avoids the inclusion of toxic characters, making it a refreshing and enjoyable experience. I found myself reminiscing about the show's every moment, unable to tear my eyes away.
Despite having other important tasks at hand, I simply couldn't resist watching it in one go. I implore you not to skip this kdrama; you'll forever regret it.
A must watch š

jisoo i get you!!!!!!!!Ā
i know that every new kdrama canāt be my favorite but this was so good i want to rip my eyes out.Āshin hye sun was such a standout like she ACTED. and i absolutely love love love ha yoon kyung i donāt think anyone could have played cho won like her, like she cries like no one else omg. this was also my first ahn bo hyun drama and i was eeekkking and ahhhing half the time he was on screen. can he pls get type casted from this more cause he played the āemo sad boy donāt touch me but i love you iāll protect you iām shy but strong cute boyā guy a little too well.Ā i want cha chung hwa in every show, movie, piece of media, even in my house giving me life advice. i want her to be my mom she is so fabulous. this also wasnāt a drama or character that i ever expected chae min to play, he just always gave me that school boy vibe but he stuck out so much in every scene he was in. gave me a silly little surprise seeing him in here and i will admit seeing him so serious all the time gave me a giggle
it has all the beats of a regular kdrama, so while a little bit predictable, itās one of those shows where it doesnāt really matter, if that makes sense. the four main charactersā stories made them so loveable and so relatable (maybe except for the second love interest guy he kinda got on my nerves) it touches on grief in a very different and almost healing way than other things iāve seen. and although itās very easy to sympathy with seo ha and cho won, ji eums story and her pain stuck with me so much and was such a big part of why i felt like this show touched on reincarnation and different lives in such a calming way. it just felt refreshing.Ā
the first 8 episodes were perfect and so so comforting and itās not that the other four werenāt itās just that i think it fell into the big kdrama ending trap. i kinda wanted more from the big reveal of ji eums first life. i was so excited the whole time to figure out what happened and then when it was revealed it was a bit anticlimactic, but still so so fun none the less. It also kinda was in the middle of being dragged out and too fast so it felt a little weird the last two episodes, so while the first 8 episodes were very romance heavy the last could were very like actiony and serious so it was a bit jarring. But i also think itās hard for shows like these to balance the thriller action plot and the romance plot. but even tho it has those faults it was still absolutely amazingĀ
the main couple was the cutest thing iāve ever seen, i screamed, i cried, i jumped, i had to pause so many times just out of pure butterflies. the build up was absolutely perfect and i think i started talking to my screen pretending j was with them at some points. the second couple had me giggle so much as well which i didnāt think i would, and i think it had a lot to do with cho won. the way she acted and her lines just really made their romance feel like a 2018 kdrama. the guy kindaā¦ā¦was definitely a guy but i think by the end he redeemed himself and i was too focused on cho won half the time so ehhhh idc. all the relationships had so many sparks to them even the platonic ones which just made me fall in love with them even more.

was good, but i still like the webtoon more <3
The story unfolds at a slow pace, likely due to the frequent flashbacks that, while necessary for character development, can sometimes feel drawn out. These flashbacks are essential for helping us understand the characters, particularly as we anticipate when the other characters will realize that Ban Ji Eum is actually Yoon Joo Won (her 18th life). However, I canāt help but feel that the narrative has been a bit flat thus far. In the first four episodes, not much has happened, and we often find ourselves revisiting the same flashback scenes repeatedly.I also believe that Moon Seo Ha could benefit from seeking help from a psychologist or psychiatrist to address his trauma and mental struggles. His characterās depth could be greatly enhanced with a more nuanced exploration of these issues. Despite these concerns, Iām not ready to drop this drama just yet! If you do choose to stop watching, I highly recommend reading the webtoon instead, as it offers a much more enjoyable and heart-fluttering experience.
On a brighter note, Park So Yi, who plays the younger Ban Ji Eum, is a talented actress and incredibly cuteāI canāt help but have heart eyes whenever sheās on screen! Additionally, Iām rooting for Cho Won; she and Ha Do Yoon have a lovely chemistry that I canāt wait to see develop further.
And hereās some good news: the story begins to pick up momentum in episode five! YES! Iām excited to see the sisters reunite, and Iām eager to continue this journey with them!

I PREFER TO WATCH THE SECOND LEAD
Tbh, i enjoy watching the second lead fl and ml more than the main lead. Im getting bored with kdrama romance plot where itās always about past life and childhood love.Have you not notice where almost all kdrama romance the writer will include childhood loves or at certain point they met each other when they were kids??
Please drop it. Itās very unnecessary and unrealistic.
I wish there are more scenes between ml and fl of the second lead.

Great acting, shoddy writing
I don't mind pot holes, but this was too much. The pacing was also terrible, I found myself on my phone browsing Tiktok more often than not. It should have been 8 episodes and they should have put more effort thinking about how to end it.
Too bad, since the acting was almost perfect. The OST was also lovely.
The character limit on My Drama List is too excessive. Come on guys, I could have a good review with half the number of characters. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.

Beautiful shots, beautiful songs, but the story...
I was really excited watching the first 2 episodes, because of all the flashbacks and the FL's ability to remember all her past lifes. This feeling continues up to the middle part of the drama. Afterwards, I was really tempted to drop this drama.IMHO, Shin Hye Sun's acting is really the soul of this drama, and fortunately the other main characters also gave a wonderful performance, so it was not at all lopsided. However, the story leaves me with sooo many questions. I personally feel the story are rushed nearing the end, especially Episode 11, with all the flashbacks (despite the scenes having the potential to be a major turning point).
At the end of Episode 12, I was asking to myself, "What's with that progression? What's the point of some of the characters at the beginning? Where are they now?" Well, though in life there are some events which are anticlimactic too, but with how the initial episodes are plotted, I expect it to have a more wholesome ending. Honestly, the tension in the initial episodes is the one keeping me seated for this drama. I guess I'll read the webtoon now for more information.
So, is it worth watching? Yes, and try not to expect much. The acting skills, the shots, and the musics are all excellent. Let's appreciate that.

ask 3 times and they shall accept
WOW. just wow, honestly.how should i even start this? such a special drama, definitely on my faves list. caught by surprise at every single episode (mainly from ep 10 ahead). THE PLOTSS??? hello?? you know a drama is good when there's a fucking long backstory, but it's worth every second.
jieum and seoha šš i'll miss you guys, but i'm happy that jieum will be able to live her best life by seoha's side. not only his side tho, but everyone around her. chowon, doyun, aegyeong, please stay with jieum for a long time.
i'll also miss jieum's audacity oh dawggg, that girl is a goddamn rizzler; but its up to seoha now, i guess.
(already missing this drama send help)

too fast paced!
i think it would've been great if this drama were 16 episodes long as usual because the romance between the two leads fell too fast-paced and unrealistic at times, but if it were longer i think it would've been best for the development of the story.i feel like the murder sub plot was unnecesary as it didn't really help with the story... why did the uncle want to kill seoha? why did his mother came back in a new body to torment miss jang? was it just to help ferment the story of past lives? anyway i thought it could've all been wrapped up if we only had more time.
shin hyesun is one hell of an actress though and she deserves her flowers with the way she carried the last two episodes!
