Through the evocation of their common past or the glimpse of their current life, we feel that they have managed to preserve their good moments. I also felt the unsaid things, the affection that shines through, the care for each other and I think that maybe there is a possibility for them. Maybe the recipe at the time wasn't elaborate enough, or maybe it wasn't just right for the 20-year-olds they were.
Note: there is no predefined recipe for making a relationship work, each person finds the right fit in their own way to make it work.

This review may contain spoilers
General Spoilers below. Bittersweet and open-ended but well done 11min short. Very good acting and great nuances in the different tensions ebbing and flowing between the two leads. It was very believable that they had a history (though it's not explained in detail) and had complicated feelings.
I really want to go further into the story of these two. The ending is maybe, possibly, slightly hopeful- despite many years passing, they both seem to still be a bit stuck on each other. Just as the dish they made didn't "taste quite right" without the lemon, they are still missing each other in their lives.
I probably won't re-watch (unless they happened to film more of this story, then I would definitely keep watching).

Sweet and relatable
As always, thoughts and opinions are my own and not intended to offend :) (lets be honest, these are just my ramblings)I felt like this was a little different from the previous Strongberry shorts I've watched - and I liked that. This wasn't just fluffy and sweet, it was calm but with this feeling of loss as an undertone. Two men who once had a relationship coming together to help one another in a non-flirty, just platonic way was nice to see; that's not to say that there is no romantic feelings bubbling, but it felt like there was a possibility being recognised but not acted upon. I hope that makes sense!
This is another film I would love to have a longer version, or even just a follow up.
