Madee is a beautiful 18-year-old girl who has seven sibilings: Mada, Boonman, Boonkwan, Marasri, Malaree, Daengnoi and Daengnid. They all live in poverty, in Northeast Thailand. With their parents addicted to alcohol and gambling, Madee bears the burden of taking care of the whole family. She also taught her younger siblings to help each other make a living. One day, a road was being build in front of the market. Madee went to apply for a job as a construction worker instead of her father. There she meets Ayut, the construction supervisor of the Highway Department. Ayut is a good natured person and therefore loved by everyone. Ayut becomes a source of support for Madee.
