Atom Boyz is a Taiwanese survival program produced by Wildfire Entertainment. The program divides 80 contestants into eight planetary groups; two sub-groups (5 members each) will be established within each planet, and the members are to compete with each other. The winning sub-group will debut as the champion group, and the popular group will be selected for debut through voting. The contestants are separated into eight groups by different dancing styles: Saturn (Master of Dancing), Earth (Sweet Style), Mars (Beasts Style), Mercury (Cute Style; average age is 17 years old), Jupiter (Cool Style; average height is 180 cm), Neptune (Passionate Style), Venus (Beautiful Boys), and Uranus (Hip-hop Idol). Best Idol Show I've Seen
It is very entertaining and not too cruel even if it is an idol survival competition.There are a lot of different contestants with each their own personality and they all have strong and weak points. It is very authentic it does not feel like watching a fake show.
The concept of team is also interesting to watch with the different planets because every group has its very own color and vibe to it.
Every episode is very meaningful and not just a bunch of fill-in episodes to the final reveal
The judges are wholesome too and they really add to the fun of the show.
The editing is not evil which is a huge plus of this show.
