A GagaOOLala Original TV series documenting the lives of LGBTQ individuals in the Philippines. Episode 1: Out and Proud Nine out and proud Filipinos with different intersectionalities share their stories and experiences on how it is to be LGBTIQ+ in the Philippines during the 2018 Metro Manila Pride March. We start with Hannah Mae Aldeza, a blind lesbian, followed by gay lawyer, Jesus Nicandro Falcis III. From there we will move to a gay Christian pastor, Reverend Crescencio Agbayani, Jr., and his partner, Marlon Felipe, and a lesbian couple, Sandy Aloba and Ida Ramos, together with their son, Liam. Lastly, we will hear from a gay couple of twelve years, Randy Estrellado and Keith dela Cruz, and a young pansexual activist, Vince Liban. Their stories provide insights on the pressing issues affecting the LGBTQI+ community in the Philippines. Episode 2: Positive Positive does not only refer to the HIV status of Rogeselle and Johnson. It also refers to how they see their condition in a positive way. Rogeselle Monton is a volunteer for a non-governmental organization (NGO) who helps people with HIV/AIDS. On the other hand, Johnson Adora has been newly diagnosed with HIV and is struggling to overcome the AIDS status to live a normal life together with a supportive partner. They provide dynamic personalities and different perspectives to the frightening numbers regarding the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the Philippines. Episode 3: Trans-Sit: A Transgender Situationer Trans-Sit discusses the transgender situation in the Philippines. Ice Seguerra, a famous singer and actor, together with his wife Liza Seguerra-Diño, an actress and head of the government's film agency, take the lead in sharing their struggle and fight for recognition in the Philippine society. Pat Bringas, Veejay delos Reyes, and Bunny Cadag share their views on how the Philippine society treats them as transgender people- from the conflicted reactions of their families to the discrimination at their workplaces. In the 25-minute discussion, we will have a glimpse of how the Philippines is for the transgender community.
