Is this Show a duck or a goose?
I thought the Show started well. A dose of mystery, a touch of humour and a hint of romance. There is a burst of manic energy as the Show introduces the key players and setup the main plot. After the meet-cute, the show slows down to a steady pace. There are some funny moments early on as the ML learn to live with ghosts and how to profit from them. However, the humour is fleeting. While it sort of sticks to the initial premise of a taxi for ghosts, we soon find out that it is far from being joyrides. Most of the ghostly tales are quite weighty and depressing. These subplots appears to be random at first but over time, we are given clues to find the missing link that ties them all together.I actually felt a bit lost by the half way point because I was expecting the Show to go down a certain path based on the marketing and the early episodes but it turns out to be quite a different beast. I won’t go as far as calling it bait-and-switch, but I was not excited about where the story is heading.
Fortunately, the Show finally starts to pull the threads together in the last 1/3 of the run. The final destination is revealed, and we gather momentum as we sped towards the climax. I have to admit that it is neat how the loose threads are related to each other and slots in with each other. The only problem is that by this stage, I’m feeling a little jaded as I can see the Show is clearly manipulating the narrative and subplots until all the pieces are perfectly aligned. The puzzle can’t be solved because the pieces are hidden on purpose from us. We are drip fed very little concrete information while it grows painfully obvious who the real culprits are. This includes creating contrived situations while bending rules to suit the task at hand. Some of these involve questionable police procedurals while others will leave you baffled by the inconsistency if not out right contrivance. The Show will try to explain the ruse afterwards but it does test your credulity.
Acting is acceptable on the whole. I won’t call any of them breakout roles. The FL has a more challenging role than the ML. He can appear a bit wooden at times. They have decent chemistry and there is a bit of skinship in ep.12.
Production value is par for the course. It doesn't have lavish sets but they are functional and fit for purpose. Not a lot of CGI is used even though you would expect more from a supernatural themed show. What is there is acceptable but fairly rudimentary by today's standards. Once again, adequate rather than exceptional.
In the end, all the loose ends are tied up. Emotions run high and a few tears are shed. Antagonists are dealt with. Protagonists have the happy endings we all wish for. The Show turns the fan service dial to the max in ep.12. It is probably the best episode of the series and it is the real highlight for me.
Regrettably, the bulk of the show is fairly pedestrian. Similar ghost/wish fulfilling plots have been done before and often better. There is certainly something old something borrowed here. What we need is more of something new.
In hindsight, it is watchable and kept my interest but it can be testing at times. I won’t mind rewatch a highlight reel but not the whole show. Peace out.

Wholesome Supernatural Romance no creepy ghosts
Delivery Man 📺:Viki 🚕👻12eps / PG-13
Murder Mystery/Supernatural/ romance/ comedy
If you want to watch a light, fast paced Supernatural (Ghost) Kdrama I recommend this one 👌🏽
No creepy ghosts, dark evil things/ monsters or anything like that.
A story of solving crimes so the Ghosts/Spirits and crossover to the light.
Think The Ghost Whisperer (American TV show) but more wholesome. Loved this one!
PROS:
◇The writing nothing dragged was milked which is what caught my attention immediately.
◇How wholesome/light this show was over all. They could have easily made it dark and super heavy like most of its genre but they didn't.
◇The acting I thought everyone did a fantastic job from the main cast, supporting & guest appearances.
◇The OST is a fun light one matching it perfectly.
◇I was always engaged with the story & was superised by the turns it took.
◇Loved how it was a happy ending.
CONS:
◇Some Supernatural elements that never fully got flushed out. Personally it didn't bother me because everything else was so good.
Overall really enjoyed watching this one week by week and will miss it!
Hopefully Kdrama writers can make more light, fun, wholesome Supernatural Kdramas like this one ♡

Great watch!
Not sure why this drama doesn't rate higher. The title is a misnomer - it really is about a taxi driver for ghosts but too bad it's up against another drama currently broadcasting which has a more famous (and handsome!) taxi driver. I guess shows with supernatural themes generally don't rate as well and also this ghost show doesn't have idols or well-known actors to prop it up.However, the acting is solid enough, the characters are fleshed out, and the stories are single episode explorations. The synopsis is predictable: ghost takes taxi but can't leave. She is inexplicably tied to him and therein lies the mystery - why or how are they tied together? Who is she? How or why did she die?
Overall it's a fun watch with some light humour, the lead characters are likeable, and the pacing is good. The whole series is short, only 12 episodes so that really helps with the pacing. Each episode focuses on one ghost passenger's story so the series moves pretty swiftly. What's not to like?
The only thing I would have liked as with any ghost story is copious crying (on my part). I have to yet to shed a tear over lmpossible love or tragic circumstances of lost dreams and what could have been. But there are still 4 episodes left so anything is possible.

Good Enough
Korean Drama " Delivery Man " is a fantasy comedy with a touch of romance. The drama offers a variety of ghost stories that the main characters have to solve, which spices up the main plot, which, otherwise, isn't that original. Still, the drama does a good job of blending everything smoothly, even the romance. The latter was okay, kind of predictable, but the couple had chemistry and there were some cute moments between them.
The performances, in addition, were all enjoyable, as everyone in the cast handled their characters nicely.
So, overall, eight out of ten, mainly because of those ghost stories.

Boring
This show was neither good nor bad. Though it started out with an interesting premise, it quickly devolved. There was no depth to anything of the characters, not the male lead, or the female lead or the so called villain. It was increasingly obvious who the murderer was from around the seventh episode and the rest of the runtime ended up being filler.
There were a lot of things the showrunners could have done to make it more interesting. One thing I didn’t understand is if they were going to make it so easy for the female lead to regain her memories, why did she need to lose them in the first place? We came to know the whole truth behind her death in the first three episodes itself.
A let down, since this really sounded promising.

Supernatural but not mind bending
The main pair are an okay match, though the show tried too hard at the beginning to push the romance with some cliche cringy scenes like they suddenly starring at each other for no reason, which was totally unnecessary because they already had all the scenes needed for the Yeong Min and Ji Hyeon to organically realize their feelings with her classmate ghost's unresolved wish to spend time with her since she's his first love. Ji Hyeon being able to change outfits is a fun. The show really had a missed opportunity not using this ability for Yeong Min to get some gifts for his ghost mom when they finally get to spend some time together before she moves on.I really didn't like how the show played up Yeong Min being molested by which ever spirits that randomly possesses the shaman for laughs. And they also didn't make it clear why the shaman invited Yeong Min to the haunted building the taxi drivers hired him to to solve even when Yeong Min asked him directly. I did like how he was finally directly useful in helping Yeong Min find out where his mom's spirit went.
They left the plot of Yeong Min needed to pay off a certain amount within a month in order for his house to not be put on sale. They could have just had a quick scene showing the gold he got as payment from the ghosts was enough to pay that off, but it's like they forgot about it even though it was an important set up that got him accepting that he can see ghosts fast. It's a distracting thing that his money issues that affect both him and his grandmother were never explicitly resolved still lingers when he doesn't do much work in order to date a dead girl.
Every kdrama with a ghost romance always ends up with the ghost being someone alive in a coma so it was not surprising at all and feels kind of like a cop out for less emotional complexity especially since it was revealed really early on. It's also a weird thing that I've seen in other kdramas too where if the girlfriend is older than the guy, they refuse to call her noona whereas when the it's the other way around, it's oppa for life.
Neither of the main characters, one of whom is an aspiring police officer and one who is already a police detective albeit supernaturally amnesic though retains her police training in all the other instances are particularly detailed in their planning in how the catch their cunning serial killer doctor Kyu Jin. The show is lazily keeping them exactly one step behind the serial killer in logic like how in the first two times they confront him, he gets away scott free even after directly trying to murder Yeong Min because they didn't do any sort of recording. Kyu Jin even gets his hand on Ji Hyeon's phone because Yeong Min is so careless with it. He learned nothing when he almost lost the phone to the goons a high schooler called to beat him up.
Yeong Min's friendship with the taxi drivers is nice, but I don't feel like they spend enough time together to really strengthen the emotional ties. Kyu Jin and Hee Yeon as well, there could have been a bit more of a connection other than murdering together to flesh out their twisted sibling bond. The serial killer set up with an emergency doctor who enjoys seeing the family of the victims think of him as a hero after he murders their loved ones is well set up though. Ji Hyeon's police veteran dad believed Yeong Min way too easily that Ji Heyon's spirit has been hanging out with Yeong Min no matter how helpful he has been to catching Kyu Jin. They could have spared a scene for that.

So they have mysteries to solve around Young min’s mother and Ji hyun’s deaths as well as mysteries around the last moments for their clients.
Review
I very rarely quit watching a series. I made it through episode 5 on this and just could not watch it any more. I was bored. I like the premise. But the focus was not as heavily in doing cool things for ghosts as it was on their mystery and their relationship. I did not puck up on much chemistry between the keads so I was not super interested in their interactions. I would not watch it again nor recommend it.
Spoilers
Ji hyun is way dressed down, possibly to give a more ghostly appearance, but it makes handsome Young min’s almost immediate attraction for her less believable. She is also a bit annoying and has no empathy for Young min’s plight and need to earn money to provide for himself and his grandmother. So with her being slightly annoying, devoid of understanding, and not very attractive, it is hard to understand what he would see in her from a romantic perspective. She also is mean to hm by not understanding him needing to make money and guilting him into helping herself and other ghosts instead. She also makes fun of him for never having dated, and ridicules his desire to hang a lock on the fence.
I found the case where the con artist was trying to scam the young widow out of a settlement interesting. But those interesting cases were too few to hold my interest.

Somehow it worked
This is a strange one. I dont know how to describe it (and im not good at it). This show somehow feels like the plot is all over the place and you are not pretty sure where it is going but in the end it all kind of makes sense and it deliver satisfiyng ending. Personaly i would prefer if the show had more episodes and we would explored more ghosts stories and their resolutions because all of those subplots with ghosts where pretty strong and emotional and just really really good. What it lacks a little bit are core rules when you make detective narrative. They violited some of the basic stuff like main antagonist motives which is not explored very deeply (i like it when antagonist is not evil just because he is antagonist)
Overall it was actually pleasure to watch and last few episode were not draggy at all which is VERY RARE in korean dramas.
Also FL is really pretty and cute i loved her!

A Ghost's Taxi
about a taxi driver who can see ghosts and helps them resolve their grudges has a compelling and unique storyline that caught my attention. However, I found myself annoyed by both the lead and supporting actors' performances, which detracted from my overall viewing experience. The characters' emotions often felt forced and overacted, making certain scenes hard to watch. Despite this, the show's supernatural element remained fascinating and engaging, and I appreciated the fresh take on the ghost story genre. Each ghost's backstory was captivating and had me invested in their resolution. Overall, while the acting may have left something to be desired, the intriguing storyline and supernatural twist make this Korean drama worth checking out for fans of the genre. Was this review helpful to you?
Charming Cozy Ghost Drama
This drama was very enjoyable. A lot of it is a very typical ghost drama plotline, there is not anything very unique about the plot. But in many episodes I found that the writing was very well polished, an attention to detail that many dramas do not have. Many dramas just force in a trope even when it does not make sense, but this show seemed to care that everything makes sense. The twists and emotional arcs are very well thought out. The performances are also very good. The side stories are especially rich. One criticism is that the final arc has some odd pacing. I am not sure if it was "bad" pacing, but they make some strange choices to reveal things before going back and showing stuff leading up to it. In a way, a lot of surprises are not a surprise because they show you the reveals so early before building up the tension. I am not sure if those were bad decisions, but I would say this is not a drama where you will be guessing a lot. There is some suspense, but it is pretty light.
