A very good drama that could've been better
So... I've just finished watching Triage and... it was good. It was really good! So good that I've finished it in only one day. Then, why is my mark this low, you could ask. Well, the main plot was really interesting and quite consistent for a series that has to film several times the same scenes. But I still noticed some flaws that I can't get over with. The first thing that I thought was weird was the development of the main leads relationship. Tin has lived several times the same scene (Tol's death and him trying to resuscitate him). Then, he relived the whole day. I don't know how many times but we see him relive it only a couple of times (once when he was looking for Tol and told him he was gonna die and once when he was punched by Tol for mentioning Mai). Finally, we have the first scene in which he managed to relive the day before and from then on, it was weird because Tin acted as if he was already in love with Tol. But we didn't see them interact that much at this point so it was really weird to see Tin looking at Tol with lovey dovey eyes and I would have hoped to see more development in that part.
The second big problem of the show for me is the whole Dr. Sak and Doi organs trafficking plot. Thankfully, even though it was a big part of the plot, it only started to become more important at the end of the series. But the whole thing with Doi trying to kill Sing and Gap (TWICE !) was a mess... The first time, Sing fell into Doi's trap only because they were "friends" and he thought he could change his mind. Since when were they friends? We never saw them interact and the few times they had a scene together, Sing was annoyed at Doi. So that is inconsistent. The second time, Gap rushed to Sing's flat without even calling the police?! Like... I know the police in Thailand might not be the best and trusting police you can have but they would have probably arrested a man threatening to kill your boyfriend with a gun. I'm pretty sure of it. They never called the police when they had the chance to and that was really annoying to watch. Also, when did Doi have the time to go back to the hospital (after being in Sing's flat) just to inject (what?) to Tin? It makes no sense!
The last things I want to rant about is, where did Tol send Tin to (when he was still in the coma)? He was taking care of him at Tin's house and all of a sudden, he transfered him somewhere else. We also have no idea how long Tin spent in a coma. And who the f**k was that guy in black that killed Tin in Tin's last loop? He seemed to want to kill Tol but how was Tol related to all of this? I don't understand...
But anyway! Apart from this two things (the second one being the most annoying one), the series was really good and I would still recommend it to anyone.

What the fuck?
Since ep 1 i felt very weird about this series. It became to be interesting before the attention started to focus on Tol. The tension, how everything started to make sense, but then everything fell.
It was so cofusing and at some point it began to be boring at the point I almost dropped this series.
The ending was so plain and i don`t know, I just feel disappointed because I saw a lot people giving very good rating, also it had the potential to be a masterpiece, so sad. The only good point I can give to it is abt how good the actors are. I would like to see more about the principal couple, I like their chemistry.

Significantly Better Than I Thought It Would Be
I thought it would be a dumb medical drama and have been side stepping it for so long, but no, it's so much more. The name of the series doesn't suit anything in it except for the first like 3 minutes of the very first episode. And nothing else about triaging things since.
I was so pleasantly surprised. I won't go into all the details because other reviewers have already provided that. But it's definitely worth the watch. I definitely recommended it.
Still wondering why one cat was in the carrier and the other one was free to roam around.

EPIC STORYLINE EMERGENCY ALERT! CALL 911!
This series has one of the most interesting storylines ever. I noticed that most of my top-rated dramas are related to time (present-to-past). The intriguing factor in this series that paid my attention is that how the time looping develops the relationship of the characters. Only one thing that pissed me off in this is the final plots in Episode 13 are somehow rushed.Emergency room setting is very fantastic. The actors made a proficient portrayal in the medicine practice. Everything is great but never the gun/kidnap scenes. Everyone looks lousy when it is supposed to be nerve-wracking.
I haven't noticed the music they used. Maybe, there's none at all?
Must-watch! Highly recommendable! This series is full of funny moments, joy, sadness, annoyance to the antagonists, and most of all, love.
(Overall suggested rating is 8/10 but I will rate this with 9/10 because it deserves to be in my top-tier dramas)

THIS WAS AMAZING
I had high hopes for this one but this was even better than I thought... Tee and Tae did an amazing job.I loved the characters development that hapenned along the series, the prejudices that Tin used to had disappeared and Tol could finally start to understand and accept other people choices and opinions.
I think the last 3/4 episodes weren't needed, the story didn't made any progress and it was just a way of wasting time BUT it was really nice to see Tol's pov of the loops.
The second couple deserved more, Sing and Gap, I think they should have give them more screen time and try to show us more of them, the only thing we know is that they were always fighting because they liked each other but that's not enough, I really wanted to have seen how they got together and ESPECIALLY how Sing confessed his feelings to Gap ahahahhah
I really liked that fact that even though they knew each other since they were kids, that wasn't the main reason or something crucial for them to be together.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overall I really really enjoyed this show, I think it's much better than Manner of death and I love the fact that this happens in the same "universe", it's always a pleasure to see Tul and Max together, am I right? ahahhahahahahah

Different, unique and beautiful!
It's hard to summarize this drama because is so different and amazing. I don't normally like time travel/loops stories but because of the main leads i watched. I was very entertained. what an interesting concept, so well done by the actors, they made me believe in their story and can't wait to see them again in another project. What I like the most is how the story tells that depending on your experiences that's how you will respond in life.. you respond depending on what cards you been dealt with. i.e abuse of power, poverty, lack of resources and how you treat others. I feel that this drama was so suspenseful that their plot was never lost and the bl was part of the plot and not the other way around. This drama is giving SCOY a run for number one.Was this review helpful to you?

One of the BEST Thai BLs of 2022!
Was a great series! Very crazy though. Worth rewatching yes, but for me, I think once is enough. It’s a crazy, very complex, and hectic series. The annoying “butterfly effect” annoys me to no end because it becomes ridiculous really. Every small little detail in the plot line can change because of the butterfly effect. P’Tae and Tee were great leads as usual. In the end, I’m glad everyone got what they deserved. This drama will really make you hate some characters and you will want to wish that they die in the most horrible way possible. Was this review helpful to you?
try not to read too much before watching
Overall: what a wild ride this was. I enjoyed the twists and turns as we went and liked how it was difficult to predict the ending. It's best if you don't read too much about the plot beforehand and I'm going to keep my review on the more vague side (other than the content warnings). If AIS Play ever gives it a permanent official international release (instead of the 2 hour watch window), I'll bump it up to 9.Content Warnings: attempted murder, murder, attempted suicide, suicide, blood, violence, spying, manipulation
What I Liked
- good way to start a series and get the viewers' attention
- funny and cute moments along with the serious, mystery and action moments
- a new take on an existing sci fi idea
- Tan & Bun cameo
Room For Improvement
- some nonsense medical things, also the medical definitions went by too fast to read
- other nonsense things but I don't want to list and give things away
- the ending was rushed and confusing, they needed a bit more time to explain things in a logical way

Unpopular opinion
I seem to have an unpopular opinion of this series. I very much enjoyed the acting in this drama, and I know a lot of the actors are seasoned and fairly well-known. However, the time travel trope is not my favorite, and it made me cringe way more than I would have liked. I powered through it though, and I did like the majority of it, mostly because of the actors/acting as opposed to the story. I can see that they tried to make it "not" cringy, but still.... And I did shed a few tears in the appropriate moments. Strangely, the part I liked most in this drama was that the protagonist died, and they actually let him be dead for a while....that was new.I'm glad I watched it, but I probably won't revisit this show again.

Must Watch
Triage is a BL that I did not really watch a trailer for but the first episode of the show is an amazing introduction to what the show is about. Triage is like a BL version of Happy Death Day and the Groundhog Day. The first episode is where we got to see what will happen but there is whole mystery as to what is really happening and what he needs to do. He just knows that he needs to be able to save Tol but he is unsure what it is that he needs to do. Now, I did not expect this and I was just expecting a show where Doctors will be lovey-dovey so seeing that we are going to see more of a serious storyline balanced with a really cute love story is more than satisfying for me. Basically, the story is about a doctor who is put into this time loop after a patient of his died. He, initially, did not want to save him because he smelled alcohol in him and we are introduced to what happened to him in the past where his sister was in an accident with another driver who is under the influence of alcohol. He, then, got into a loop that soon led to him trying to understand the person more. As mentioned earlier, I know nothing about this show when I decided to watch it but what really surprised me most about it is how well-made this is. It is literally one of the best BLs I got to watch mainly because of the concept and how they were able to weave all of the stories of the characters and build on them to create this surprisingly enjoyable piece of work. This is hard to do considering that they are following this loop. There is no tomorrow but what they did is to give the characters interesting storylines still that they were able to close flawlessly at the end. Usually, I tend to hate BL endings with how they are forcing emotional connection but this one is different. It is logical despite having a fantasy theme to it. I really commend the writers of this show. It is not an easy thing to do but they were able to successfully do it. I think it is important to really highlight this aspect of the show because this is not an easy thing to do. Tae and Tee plays Tin and Tol, respectively, and they brought these characters to life in the best possible ways. I am not forced to like them because they are already likable and their performances are more than enough to make me fall harder with them. Tae had to manage most of the episodes since he is the focal character who is working in the loop. He is the one with the memories of all of Tol’s death and he is the one to fall in love first with Tol. This is why I was a bit hesitant with Tee’s Tol but the last few episodes came in and we shifted perspective from Tin to Tol and Tee ate it up. He was a really good actor and I am super surprised with how well he was performing in this series because he manages to handle different emotions of the character while leading him to grow to be a much better character that is multi-faceted and well-rounded. I liked his portrayal so much because they are both eating it up and giving us what is needed from them. I would love to watch more shows from them but I would not want a second season for this show. They were able to wrap it all up with a beautiful bow at the end that really works well with all the active characters that we have. Sing and Gap are also a really good secondary couple. We had hints of them at the beginning and they were just suddenly together in the last loop but I am not even disappointed because they had so much good chemistry that it felt fine and natural. The story also talked about illegal harvesting of organs that is and should be illegal. It tackles a really dark story that they may not have fully handled well but given what they did, I think it is still good. I think what I love about this show that I am raving about it so much is that they are so damn respectful of the storyline and the characters as if they are actual people that I would love to meet. There is character development. There are cliches but this is not even as important as the main story. The moments that Tol and Tin are trying to make each other remember that they are actually in love are the best scenes of the series because the chemistry works so damn well. I think this is may be because they work together a lot and that these characters are simple enough to understand but complex enough to build an entertaining and serious story. It works also because the actors are really good. They have started showing us different storylines but they made sure that everything still made sense. I think that the writer and the director had a really tough job but they created a masterpiece here. Lastly, let us not forget that Manner of Death cameo of Tan and Bun. I mean, I will watch anything with Max and Tul.Was this review helpful to you?
Memorable, special, wonderful!
I don't know the right English words to describe this series. All I can say is that it stands out among the others for its plot and execution, so much that I believe it belongs to its own special category, along with Manner of Death (which has the same directors and is set in the same universe). I've only just found out that it's actually the remake of a short movie with the same main leads. This series is a detective story with supernatural elements, which also happens to include a mlm romance. I was afraid that, since it mainly revolves around time loops, it would get repetitive soon, but the story develops nicely and steadily, with more and more details being added to the story and making it so that the plot never stagnates. It also tackles multiple interesting themes: the importance of life, of pursuing justice, of being there for your friends and family, of being honest with others and with themselves. It also touches a little on the aspects of afterlife, alternative universes/dimensions, and such. It was very interesting to see it all come to life.
While the pacing is just right, the story is also packed full with events and plotlines, so it might feel overwhelming for whoever is looking for a relaxing watch - I can't stress enough that this series is NOT relaxing. It will keep you nervous and eager to see what comes next all the time until the very end of the last episode.
Something that I appreciated was how the supernatural element wasn't used too much: it has its limits and regulations and the characters are not able to rely on it or get rid of it at will.
The actors all did a good job. I can't say I was a big fan of the chemistry between the two main characters, as in some instances it felt like one of them was "in love" and the other was just playing along, but overall I was satisfied. I was afraid that Tin's character would be responsible of carrying the show all the way through, but luckily it's not like that and the other characters (especially Dr. Sing) can pull their weight just fine.
In conclusion, I LOVED watching this series, and the only reason why I didn't give it a full 10/10 is that the genre is not my personal preference. Since I was still able to enjoy myself plenty, I'd suggest you giving this show a try and see for yourself if it interests you!

Can we talk about the elephant in this room?
Time travel,time-loop,mess with time.My absolute cup of tea!Add a BL and here iam,me in my happy place.I was waiting patiently for this to end,I just finished the final episode. So, because of the time-loop mostly there was no chance i wouldn't watch this.I was rooting for Tae and Tee since 2Moons.I was excited when i heard about their reunion in Triage.I was expecting great things from both of them...I usually enjoy reading reviews and most of the time i find them really helpful.I respect every opinion too.But at the end of the day,the final "verdict" is mine and only mine.
So here we go.
Music:The intro theme was suspensful. The outro song was good. And pretty much that's all about the music!
Production/Cinematography/Directing/Editing:Sometimes all was in a good level. Most of the times,it wasn't. I thought this series had a high budget. If yes,i didn't see it.If no..it showed! The use of the camera often was weird. The indoor scenes had many issues.Like they were filming all of them in a 3x3 studio.(or maybe they did,i really don't know this)Outdoors was much better but still..I didn't like scenery too.Dull and boring pictures passing infront of my eyes.
Cast/acting:And here is the big elephant!
I know all actors tried hard and wanted the best outcome. But "trying" and "doing" is not always the same.
Firstly i will talk about the 2 main leads. In the first half or so of the series both were a big disappointment.Almost in every scene i felt they were just reading their lines(remember some scenes at Uni while all having coffee, just recall or rewatch the acting there and you wil see what i mean)I felt no chemistry either. They didn't convince me.Couldn't deliver any feeling to me.The acting wasn't natural and they couldn't pull me into their characters.I was frustrated on their behalf. Like i was the actress and couldn't act myself.
To be fair their acting and chemistry too,was improved drastically, after the second half. They had their moments But still wasn't what i expected and wanted to see.Still, i cannot say acting was in high tiers!
Supporting actors were bad!Especially that Mai girl. After one of the resets she lost her mother. Her crying in that scene was beyond awful!Seriously.Iam sorry. Please do not hate me.Bright exceptions were Art and Gap.Only their acting was closer to natural.
Characters:i will not talk much about the chars.I actually really liked everyone, including the bad guys.(in a parallel universe id love to watch Triage again with a complete different cast)
Story/plot:The big plus of this series. As i said iam a time-loop sucker.Big time!I loved the story,i enjoyed the story-line.After watching dozens of series and movies about time mess i knew what to expect.I wasn't bored or annoyed of the repetitive dialogues or scenes, especially in the earlier episodes.Im not a newbie to this genre so i didnt bother.
Reset after reset the story was getting better and better.More interesting too.More infos and details were given.I always was excited at every episode. Was curious how the story evolved and how they were gonna solve thes issues occured from the previous resets etc.It took me some time to understand how Tin reseted time on demand(like going back more and more days)Of course it was Jinta's doing!Shame on me,lol.
It was such a brilliant and emotional story.Trully loved it.Unfortunately all the feelings stayed in the papers, couldn't get through the screen.
I really wanted to rate this higher. But i can't turn a blind eye to all those things i didn't like.It would be like cancelling all my previous 9+ ratings so far and this is not fair to all the other series.
Still it was a very enjoyable show.No regrets for watching it.
