Both shows follow our leads as they heal from breakups, partly through their relationship with each other. I think both stories are written incredibly well and really take you on that emotional arc with the leads in a way that feels very natural.
Both shows have a bit of a slower pace and are more introspective. Both shows also have episode titles/themes that are incorporated into the episode in clever ways. Both have certain subtleties and through lines that are really brilliantly written into the story.
If you enjoyed one definitely check the other out!

Both dramas are similar being the type romcom that deals with topic of female leads who were hurting from an abominable cheating with the mean second male lead/boyfriend.
First male lead is working with female lead in the same domain when first he misundertands her, but when they meet everyday, the relationship blossoming into a romantic way, moving from enemies to lovers.
Cheating boyfriend looking to redeem the female lead when becoming jealous as first male lead and female lead being so close to each other.
Heartbreaking moments and shedding tears of female leads who are so honest and so look alike in personalities.

- The banter between both the couples is similar and quite entertaining.
- Both MLs are charming and both the FLs hold themselves in high regard.
- Bora loses the so-called love of her life and the FL in Hometown Cha Cha Cha loses her dream job i.e both of them are at a difficult stage in their lives.
- Both the dramas are light hearted except one storyline in Hometown Cha Cha Cha.
- Enemies > Friends > Lovers

When it comes to matters of the heart, Xiao Xiao believes she is something of an expert. The blogger behind a popular social media account which addresses all sorts of relationship issues, Xiao Xiao, has no shortage of experience when it comes to love. However, all of her experiences online can’t prepare her for her first encounter with Lin Shen, a professional psychological counselor, who sees the world in an entirely different way, BOTH THE FL ARE LOVE COACHES !!!!
