ME ENCANTÓ ❤️
Pero 10/10 los voy a extrañar :((Was this review helpful to you?
Going in Circles
I think the series is going around in circles, especially with the romantic pairings. We already know who each sibling will end up with _ and it seems the series is just milking the situations. The main plot that needs to be resolved is the story behind the Seran/Youngsik/mystery woman/Jiwoo/ Sangjun "paternity" situation. The plot twists for Sorim and Geonnu seem to be made just to extend the series to 50 episodes. I believe this could have been finished in 36; episodes. At any rate, I'll stick around _ if only to find out the real story behind the paternity situation I mentioned above. Was this review helpful to you?
Second couple is the best part of the series :)
The major fault of this series was the story about the main leads in the first 20 ep, was not engaging enough coupled with other things (chemistry, acting) that made the viewers ran away after the the first week. The messy storyline in the second half was mainly due to the desperate attempts by the writer to save the rating. Admit it or not, the first half of this drama was the cause of the downfall of KBS weekender, it's unfortunate because it got the decent start with 20% rating.Anyway, mainly watched for Kim So eun, despite of messy storyline it's so nice to see her screentime increased in the second half even though the writing was bad. Unfortunately she ended up as the punching bag for the female lead's fans who were not satisfied with her screentime and with both her and Kim Seung soo also got the Best Couple award instead of the main couple ?
Rooted for Im Ju hwan to get his main lead role after Ugly Alert but this was just not it, although his performance actually stood out in the second half.
Lastly, won't really recommend this except if you are really a fan of any of four leads

Came pretty close to being great.
I've needed a few months to think about this series before writing a review. I feel that, with some fixing of the script, this show deserves a shot at being re-done. It came so close to being great, but the script let down the cast. As in "It's Beautiful Now", the show tended to divide the fan base here along the lines of the 3 couples (disclaimer, I liked the Son and the older woman...I thought they were a great couple, but I like Bit Na anyways, so I'm biased). The show started off "OK" and started to gather steam, but the lack of chemistry among the leads as a couple held the show back. Then odd things started to happen: The middle couple (younger daughter/older CEO) took off like crazy, with a weird chemistry between them that really worked, in spite of their differences. I think this spiraled out of control for the production team and things got away from them. Realizing that the second couple was waaay more popular than the leads, they directed the story towards them instead. KBS even ran a special episode dedicated to their romance! All this, without a single kiss between them!
In the mean time, the leads were sort of reduced to a husband/wife team of detectives, almost. And oddly enough....THAT worked for them. The 3rd couple, that I liked had their challenges as well and I looked forward to the friction between them. The second couple stole the show all the way to the KBS awards where they got Couple of the Year award. (If you get a chance to see their red-carpet talk after the awards, it's hilarious - I think it may still be on YouTube. Their difference in ages was a factor in real-life for them - especially him).
Unfortunately, there were a lot of stumbling blocks in the plot, which could have been addressed by the aforementioned re-write above: a useless amnesia arc (which essentially was used to hide the leads lackluster chemistry). The other problem was an endless loop of paternity tests that became laughable by the end of the series. The 'bones' of a great series are there - with a revised cast that DOES have the chemistry needed and cleaned-up script, this series, which actually is about how love progresses between age-gaped couples, could have lived up to its potential.

MESSY AND IMPOSSIBLE RELATIONSHIPS
THE STORY IS SO LIMITED THAT THEY HAVE TO HAVE ALL THE RELATIONSHIP LINKED TO THE FEW FAMILIES.HAVING SIBILINGS WITH BF/GF WITH FAMILIES IN LAW IS TOO WEIRD. LIKE THEY CANNOT MEET OTHER PPL IN THEIR CIRCLE OF FRIENDS. AND WHY EVIL PPL IS NOT EXPOSED WHEN IT HAPPENED.
JUST HATE THOSE SHAMELESS PPL OR CHARACTERS IN THE SHOW.
NOT THAT I LOVED ALL THE MAIN STARS ALSO.
JUST WATCHING TO SEE IF THEY GET THEIR KARMA.
THE MOST I HATE IS
1) JO NAM SOO - KIM SO RIM EX BF
DOING ALL THE EVIL PLOTTING TO GET RID OF HER FROM THE CO.
2) LEE SANG MIN - LEE SANG JU SISTER
HER ANTICS IS IRRITATING
3) JANG YOUNG SIK - The son of Jang Se-ran's brother
HE GOT MANY SECRETS AND DONNO WHAT HE HAVE UP HIS SLEEVE AND HE CHEATS HIS AUNT OF HER MONEY.
AND OTHER MINOR IRRITATING CHARACTERS LIKE THE MAD WOMAN WHO SAYS SHE IS JANG SI WOO MOTHER.
