Birth of Romance (1957)

A musical youth romance filled with passion, cheerful songs and laughter. Masami Hanamura, a young student, on her way back to Osaka, suddenly stood on the train but did not know that her skirt was caught in the door. Therefore she slapped Yuji Takada, a student who was just behind her, thining it was a prank. As a result, while the train headed toward Osaka station, the two felt awkward. Once at the station, Masami met her friend Haruko who is an aspiring singer and who pins her hope on Masami's father Daisaku. The latter is the manager of a romantic cabaret.
