This documentary follows the daily life of people with severe autism living by themselves. Most individuals with severe developmental disabilities are limited in the places they can reside such as those who live with their parents, and at institutions or hospitals. In 2014 the qualifying subjects for the Severe Disabilities Home Care system expanded, broadening the possibility for such people to live alone with the aid of visiting care workers. The film captures sometimes humorously and sometimes seriously the relationships between four developmentally challenged individuals, their visiting helpers, and their parents.
