During the Meiji era, Yasuda Frank (former Yasuda Kyosuke) left Japan and arrived in Alaska. He was a first-generation Japanese-American who married a local woman and led the local villagers to create a new village in Alaska. Yasuda was called "Japanese Moses" or "Alaska's Santa Claus" because of it. This film depicts his life, his interactions with the Alaskan residents, his dreams and challenges. ~~Adapted from a novel written by Nitta Jiro. Edit Translation
