100 Tales of Horror (2002)

It's contained with folklore stories ties to horror. I think Japanese drama is better than this hometown legends tough.

This is an anthology of horror folklore from China. The similarity is, of course, this is a folktales.

Kaidan Botan Doro: Beauty & Fear is a more expanded story about a horror folktale in Japan. Whereas in 100 Tales of Horror, it was a one-episode story.

100 Tales of Horror similar to Kwaidan because they are definitely an anthology to horror folktales from Japan.

A collection of different stories with a creepy aspect to each one. 100 Tales of Horror stories are more emotional with some being down right sweet or sad. Mysterious Summer stories are more on the macabre and reminds me of the Twilight Zone and Black Mirror. Both are a really fun watch.

Both movies are modern adaptations of classical kaidan...................................................
