Jitenshaya-san no Takahashi-kun (2022)

While I was watching this japanese drama I was constantly reminded of SITR. Why? It is a noona romance. The woman (who behaves like a doormat) works in the office and is a victim of ordinary office harassment. Meeting a fake rebel, gives her the courage to fight back. There is even a mother looking unkindly on this relationship. This drama is less angsty and much sweeter than SITR but the korean drama has the best chemistry ever!

Both are rather calming and gentle unlikely romances. Both FLs are office workers, quiet, and more withdrawn.

Male leads are both yankee, the music is similar, both have fluffy vibe makes you feel life is good.

Both have kind-hearted Yankee MLs, a cute child, and a restaurant where the characters hang out. Both are light and heart-warming dramas.

ML is Japanese man & FL is Taiwanese woman somehow is related Scent this movie, ML is Korean man & FL is Chinese woman. I like intercountry romance story in drama/movies.
