What If It Had An Actual Ending!?
Overall: I initially rated this short and sweet series an 8.5 and could have even rated it higher, but what was that non-ending??? Aired on WeTV.Content Warnings: none
What I Liked
- young actors did a good job
- the transition/time jump was clear and well done at the end of the first episode
- cute and sweet moments
- I like that the hyper/younger one is more studious
- the subverted trope in ep 2 when they were celebrating and alcohol was present
- outro song (there isn't an intro)
Room For Improvement
- wish they didn't play other music when the guys are learning/playing guitar so we could hear the original sound on those scenes
- for the short run time they spent their time poorly, that whole jealousy thing could have been cut out and they could have actually had Peach confess/do something non-platonic...
- Peach and his friends are idiots, they really didn't know who that song was about???
- this almost seemed like an acting workshop instead of a series
- it's odd that the production company released this at the same time as My Only 12% as they have very similar plots

Why is it that the Thai bls with potential end up being short?
Cute, ordinary, uncomplicated. Nothing significant is happening but it's still kind of refreshing in a way. I think I just like the simplicity it came with. The guy playing as Smart is adorable and his eyelids comes together when he smiles just like Jimin.?Two things tho, number 1 - I found it weird that Peach was asking Smart who the song was for. Like dude come on, who did he eat, play and grow up with? You guys literally grew up together, did the "neighbor" thing not ring a bell? Or was he pretending not to know?
Secondly, what was that ending? It didn't even feel like an open ending, did they figure out they have feelings for each other? The show literally just ended ?
Overall, I don't regret watching this. It's a lot better than Coffee Melody so yeah it is not that bad.
PS : Why is it that the Thai BLS with potential are always the ones that are short? Tsk tsk....

I wish there was a clear ending....
This story is very short, sweet and just breezes right through everything. There's virtually no character development or true story progression, and yet, I somehow still enjoyed the first 4 episodes. The characters were endearing and Smart was just adorable. I really enjoyed the song. But there was no clear ending. It wasn't even really a cliffhanger, per se, it just ... stopped and credits rolled and I didn't know why it was over yet. It felt like it ended mid-conversation mid-scene with absolutely nothing to show for it. I had good feelings and good memories of the first 4 episodes, but that last one ... I can't even say it was a bad ending, it wasn't any kind of ending, except that it ended.

Short and sweet
This series is good enough to pass the time, but not a series where you remember the story, series, characters for long its like a normal bl series with very less run timeAnd coming to the actors acting they did their best according to the story, but not those catchy roles
Overall i can say a normal drama with no cringe scenes

If they returned to film a solid final episode this could be a wonderful series
I liked both the younger and older actors. The story was sweet but it hurt to see Peach blow off Smart for a whole year. Who can't speak to their friend once in a while and still study for exams? Why, even after she was told that Smart was Peach's close younger brother, did Smile still act so threatened-even before meeting Smart? It seemed to me (unlike some others here) that Peach did acknowledge that the song was written about him when he asked and teased him to the point that Smart asked "Why is your face so close?" Peach didn't respond by rejecting or accepting Smart's feelings which wasn't normal. How was Smart, so shy at freshy events he had trouble introducing himself, suddenly able to come out AND confess to Peach in front of their faculty? Do they get signed on as a Duo and also become lovers? Do they get signed but Peach rejects Smarts feelings creating awkwardness when dating others? Does only 1 get signed? What about their friends? If they returned to create 1 or more well-written episodes that addressed everything, it would be great. I know they were 2PLAYERZ but finishing the series would be nice. Was this review helpful to you?

An unfinished cute Bl series
What if has no complicated plots so far. No thrilling or exciting event yet! It's just the ordinary story of two very intimate friends, Peach and Smart. As I await ep 4 of this series there are somethings that I like about this show.
1, It's not boring, despite the fact that there's nothing happening that is supposed to be that eye catching it manages to avoid being dry.
2, It's short, unlike many Thai BL series What if is very short, there's no additional information except that which is needed to further the plot!
3, The actors are acting perfectly fine, that they're able to portray their feelings and emotions in a series that seems to be blanch is an achievement!
As it's only two episodes left,I just hope that the usual girlfriend-jealous act doesn't permeate this drama and that like the recently concluded Bl series " 21 days theory" that it's ending surpass its beginning!
Okay ? I gave it a 9.0 rating cause the ending was just like a film cut short but I personally like the series

TOO Short
What If is a short BL series from Thailand. It follows two friends who grew up together. They shared the fact that they both have few close friends with them and decided to really stick together. The transition to them growing up is cute but the main issue here is Peach is now moving to College but Smart shortly follows. Actually, if you will think about it, there is not much of a problem with these two. I feel like they are just really living their lives as is. You can clearly see that there is affection for each other especially when they got jealous but this is something that was out of the story immediately. I feel like we got a good story here but my main concern here is that it is too short. Seriously, I really wanted to see more of what is about to happen and what the story will be for these two but it is so fucking short. The show is to show to even have a solid storyline but I like the concept that there is no problem that is coming there way and that the actors are actually quite good. It is one of those BLs where you can clearly see that they have chemistry but the opportunity to really work on it was not there because they have to finish it as soon as possible. I usually don’t want much in BL stories from Thailand because they are usually so fucking long but this one is different. The editing decisions are good and I was really hoping that they did something with it.Was this review helpful to you?

But wait there is more
Loved this short series! it was cute, slow pace and just all round beautiful to watch . I was surprised at the ending like most! But after searching I realized the boys are 'playing' themselves in the series. Thus the open ending. There are a due singer pair to the band ' 2PLAYERZ'. Meaning the end of the series was like the beginning of there story.
A sweet concept. I would still love to see these boys finish of there show :)
