DEFINITELY worth giving a try

This is probably my favorite MaxNat series they've done so far.

The main concern I had going into it was the confusing plot line from the trailer but watching the series there is little/no confusion for the most part. After setting things up in the first two episodes with explanation of the two parallel worlds, the rest of the series is pretty straight forward. The pacing could've been better and is probably my biggest complaint, especially in the last episode, I felt this series needed two more eps because I feel we didn't get much time with the second couple and some other things could've been a bit more fleshed out.

I was a bit hesitant about how Nat's acting would be with this new partner but Nat and Gun's chemistry is great to start out with, not awkward at all; very well done. There are some moments where Nat falls short in certain scenes but overall I see great improvement with him especially in later eps. On the other hand I wholeheartedly enjoyed Max as W1 and W2 Tai and would definitely like to see him play more diverse roles like this.

I loved the gradual build up of chemistry between Max and Nat's characters Tai and Kram. Those two are absolute sweethearts and a couple worth rooting for a happy ending.

unique premise with convenient writing (watch suggestions)

Overall: although I enjoyed the premise the multitude of "because the writer said so" stuff is took me out of the fantasy. 10 episodes about 45 minutes each. Aired on iQIYI.

Content Warnings: murders, attempted murder, suicide, child abuse, drugging, blood, violence, torture, manipulation, manhandling, kidnapping

Watch Suggestions (this avoids some nonsense stuff and a love triangle)
episode 4 watch 9:50-11:20 for fun side couple bickering
episode 6 watch the whole episode
episode 7 watch beginning to 16:30 and 44 to the end
episode 8 watch 8:30-23:30 and then 32:30 to the end
episode 9 watch 24:20-37:20
episode 10 watch 44 minutes to the end

What I Liked
- unique premise
- mystery element
- Khram's female friend
- the side m/m couple
- intimacy/NSFW
- sweet moments

Room For Improvement
- my main struggle was that the characters keep acting completely unrealistically and it pulled me out of the story, a few examples included
* in episode 1 the whole "he won't do it again", the later not having a weapon or not having a bodyguard when a character knew he is in danger and then meeting in a sketchy location
* the medical scenario in episode 2 (should have gone with AB negative or rhnull but wouldn't the universal donor still work?)
* a character tortured another character, then one "I was a little harsh" and all was forgiven, similar thing happened in episode 10
* why didn't a character just tell another character the truth, there wasn't any world building that there would be consequences for this
* people on the run got out of a car in broad daylight
* not contacting police
* not immediately killing characters
* the dad received confirmation that what he wanted would never happen so doing what he did/said at the end of episode 5 made zero sense
* nonsense weapons being used including a butter knife and a sword
* nonsense doing that when extremely injured also his friend didn't seem to care that he left him there/didn't send help

- there were several times where the time jumps/flashbacks felt sudden or were confusing with which characters were in the scene, choppy editing
- the first few episodes had a lot of telling/montages instead of showing, I'd say they didn't have enough screen time but then some scenes could have been cut shorter
- in episode 5 they should have established that a character was evil because just being someone's son doesn't mean you deserve that
- a very cliche plot element in episode 9
- I saw 1 character as 2 different people so most of episode 10 felt like cheating
- unsatisfactory open ending

A lost plot-painful to watch

This show was just wow i was flabbergasted by the levels of absurdity that they were willing to go. Two worlds was a great premise to potentially riveting show however somehow it all went to Potts!! All the right ingredient were there but poor port execution, direction, screen writing and acting .

From poor acting from or sexy leads to stories that didn’t make sense- diseases that can be managed by poop berries, snake bites from nowhere, loose ends and I DONT KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN WITH HOW BAD THIS SHOW IS.

I had high hopes for MAX AND NAT i have been a fan since they started but this show takes the cake. THEY NEED TO DO SOMETHING better. Nat can cry and thats pretty much it.

MAX appears to be one dimensional he is the same guy in naughty babe, cutie pie and now this show. I RECOMMEND THAT YOU watch because it will either make you laugh with how ridiculous it is or cry

ME ENCANTA!!!

More fan-service than anything else...

OMG that story was painful to watch. While I like fantasy and scifi this was so badly written, I could not imagine how bad.
If you see your lover dying and go to the other world to save him, you will not fall in love with someone else out of nowhere. That was incredible unbelievable. You have a sickness while somewhere on the ass of the world (means a small town somewhere in the jungle) and there is one book which describes where to find a cure. Of course there are berries nearby in the jungle and they could not find a stick long enough to collect more than one berry. But two berries heal you anyways, incredible.

This show is soooooo overrated because they had a lot of nc scenes which was fan-service at his best. They could have expanded on the story of the side-couple which was much more believable but of course they didn't.

So while the production value was high, the fan-service over the top, the story was really terrible. And everyone who says you should watch it, they lie.

A journey of falling out of love and falling in love between two parallel worlds

Parallel universes are one of the most interesting resources in science fiction. This concept glimpses the possibility of alternative worlds existing in other planes of reality. They can be the same as ours with small differences, or divergent versions with completely different rules and people. According to this theory, everything would have an infinite number of variants that would be encompassed in a cosmos of realities called the Multiverse.
Focused on parallel worlds, films and television series have covered this concept in genres as diverse as comedy, adventure, and horror, jumping from mainstream to independent cinema.
Produced by Kongthup Chanel, 'Two World' stars MaxNat, a ship formed by actors Kornthas Rujeerattanavorapan and Natasitt Uareksit, respectively.
Directed by Khets Thunthup and Petch Varayu Rukskul and scripted by Pratchaya Thavornthummarut, the romantic drama with LGBT+ themes and a touch of fantasy tells how the life of Kham (Nat) could be boring for many, living in his humble house in a rural village surrounded by hills and rivers, with her father as the only person close to her, a friend who visits him from time to time and the pleasure of leaving nature captured on canvas.
With the aim of making us reflect on the importance of choices when defining ourselves, the series proposes an unusual love triangle between three men from two alternative worlds, with an exciting plot and intense dramatic scenes.
His world is turned upside down when he falls in love with Phupha (Gun Thapanawat Kaewbumrung), the handsome and dapper heir of the Khum Fah company, who arrives at his home seeking refuge while he escapes from the Big Slum gang that is after him to kill him and thus prevent him from taking the reins of his father's business.
The brief idyll between the two young people is broken when Thai (Kornthas Rujeerattanavorapan), the son of the gang leader, an evil man marked by a scar on his face, attacks Phupha. This is the moment when Khram will learn some secrets about Phupha's life. In addition to discovering that her lover is engaged to a rich young woman, it will also be revealed to her that Phupha is not the real son of the man she believed to be her father until that moment. On the other hand, both will suspect that the person who has raised him as a son is the one who has sent him and Uncle Viroj to murder.
The next day, Khram finds Phupha brutally murdered in his own home.
Desperate, Khram decides to go to the Magical Moon Pond, remembering that around the pond there is a legend in which the dead can be resurrected. In this way, the young man falls into the waters unexpectedly turned blue and crosses, inexplicably, to a parallel world almost identical to his world where not only Phupha is still alive, but in which a kind man similar to Thai and of the same name, but without the scar crossing his face, had been his lover, and his mother has died at the hands of the man with the mark on his face.
For his part, Thai is also confused because the Khram he knows has been murdered three years ago.
The sensitive young art lover wants to fix the past so he can save Phupha's life in the other world. To do this, he is forced to ask Thai for help, as he has come to understand that the young man who is tough on the outside and soft on the inside, with big eyes and dark eyebrows, is capable of protecting others with his strong leadership.
Denied at first, Thai ends up giving in to Kham's requests, once he tells her the truth about his relationship with Phupha in his alternate universe. And this is how the story begins between these two young people from very different worlds who are unaware that this journey full of mystery, fantasy, action and violence gives them a perfect opportunity to meet each other and end up in love.
Phupha and Thai represent different stages in the protagonist's life, and little by little the feelings for the former will disappear and in its place will be born friendship and love for the boy who has just arrived in his life. While trying to complete the mission, both will feel their hearts beating faster and stronger when they are next to each other.
This is how the series introduces a new element in its plot: the love triangle. Personally, I quite reject this very common resource when developing a piece of fiction. Reason? Whatever the outcome, there is no way in which the three involved will be injured. I understand the goal of adding some issues to the story at hand, generating sides and controversy, and ultimately creating an extra layer of entertainment, but honestly, when I like a couple, a third person really bothers me a lot.
No, I'm not saying I like GunNat. It's not that I prefer MaxNat, although I understand that the series seeks to consolidate this last ship within the BL universe.
And in this matter of confessing, I must then recognize that a love triangle like the one the series places at its center does have my approval and absolute enjoyment, despite, let's continue with the confessions, I don't like fantasy stories and parallel universes either. . I mean, the series has exceeded all my expectations.
Will Khram manage to save Phupha's life? And can he love Thai, who is in a different world from him, but intertwines with his every time the waters of the sacred pool turn blue?
Adapted from the web novel "2 Worlds" (2 Worlds: โลกสองใบ ใจดวงเดียว) by Prang (พราง), 'Two World' creates initial tension through the mistrust between its protagonists. The uncertainty about Khram's identity and the reality in which he finds himself after crossing the boundaries between the two worlds, capture the viewer without the use of special effects.
Throughout his journey, Khram encounters allies and enemies on this personal odyssey. Despite conforming to the characterizations of people he knows in the parallel universe, most of them, especially Thai, are variants of people with whom Khram will try to discover who he is. In this new stage of his life, Khram will fall out of love with Phupha and fall in love with Thai, who provides him valuable support and also begins to develop feelings for the young traveler between two worlds.
What is certain is that Thai manages to make his way onto our protagonist's romantic radar, and there, among the waters of a blue water pond that serves as a gateway to an alternative universe, Phupha's boyfriend meets Thai and Something sparks between the two, giving rise to an adventure that will determine their destinies.

MaxNat Supremacy

This is absolutely worth a watch. It's a unique concept told with a lot of heart and emotion, which I think Max and Nat do such a beautiful job with.

I do think there were some pacing issues so the story started to feel slow in the middle, and I found myself not caring much about Phupha's story. I wish we'd got a bit more time with Jao and Wayu's storyline as well because they had such great chemistry from the start with their constant bickering.

I don't think I've watched anything like this so far, and honestly love to see Max and Nat's acting improve with every project they do together.

Wonderfully Entertaining

I'm so happy that I decided against my better judgment and decided to watch this series because in the end, I actually really liked it. Some parts give you a run for your money, and others I'm not so sure about, but overall, this series has more ups than downs, and tells a story interesting enough to keep me engaged.

Let's Dive In.

So the premise is basically that Kram loses the love of his life in his own world, and accidentally falls into some mystic pond that takes him to another alternative world. In this other world, he tries to save Phupha, the person he used to love but ends up falling for Tai, another male in this world that in Kram's world, was actually a monster. I'll be honest, the synopsis on MDL made this sound incredibly confusing, so I was worried going into this that I would be lost, but you won't. The story is told in great detail and in such complexity that it's easy to keep up. However, there are some parts that feel like something's been left out, or perhaps the story wasn't put together as best as it could be to be told accurately for a complete understanding. Some of the scenes cut weirdly, so sometimes I wasn't sure if we were seeing our Kram or Kram 2.0, same with a couple of continuity errors that draw you out from the series. But, even with that, I still think they handled it as best as they could, and did a wonderful job at showing us a good story.

The production budget must've been out the roof, because it had some amazing locations, some of the best makeup work I've seen in a Thai BL, and a great, high-skilled list of actors. I think that's what makes this series so great. I loved how they made Kram look while he was sick, the bruises and scars and blood. All of it was so good.

Now, moving on to the relationships in this series. I love pining, it's one of my favorite tropes, and we see it a lot here with Tai from the alternative world. They throw in great hints that lead the audience to come to the understanding that Tai loved Kram from his world before he passed away. Then, once Kram realizes this, he gains other Kram's memories, and starts to fall for Tai as well. While we do have a love triangle here, it's not much of a love triangle since you know who Kram will end up with, but I still like the effort they put behind Phupha realizing that he actually really likes Kram. The only real nitpick I had with this couple is that there's something missing between Tai and Kram in their initial getting-together. I wish there was a scene or two more of us seeing Kram falling for Tai, or Tai hinting that he has feelings, something more than just Kram gaining back these memories that aren't his. But like always, I'm shallow when it comes to height differences, and boy, do Nat and Max do it for me each time. Also, some of the best NC scenes in BL, and I don't say that because they were naked and we saw everything (and I mean everything), but because there was so much love poured into the way it was acted out, and you can tell it was genuine and organic. Great job to those two.

The side couple, well, I didn't really care much for them. I'm not an enemies-to-lovers kind of person, so initially, this didn't draw me as it might've for others. But I do love these small moments we get when we see both of them breaking down the walls they built to be vulnerable and open. Again, such a good NC scene, and so out of the blue too. I just can't believe the amount of detail this series goes into to show us this amount of depth, in these scenes and in others.

Ratings:

Story: 8.5/10 - Some parts are harder to understand than others, but overall, the story was complex and deep, and lots of character development happened, and I loved it.

Acting: 9/10 - I think Nat's acting has improved greatly, and this series is a testimony to that, however, there are still certain scenes that his acting just doesn't reach all the way for me. Max does a good job, and so does the rest of the supporting cast.

Music: 8/10 - Okay, I don't usually pay attention to the music, but the instrumentals to this series are quite literally stuck in my head.

Recommendation Value: 7/10 - Abolsute jaw-dropping series that I had low expectations of, but it seriously surprised me in all departments. It is quite heavy in plot, but the men are beautiful, the NC scenes are breathtaking, and it's a series worth watching.

Incredible twist plot and great acting ✔️

First of all, I really love how the story reveals slowly and plot twist was so incredible. I like how Max and Nat worked together perfectly and of course supporting role were also did their best. Love all the characters, how they fits with characters perfectly and did such a great job. One of my favorite screen was Tai(Max) and Tai's father story. They made my heart moved and I literally cried for the whole episode. Most of people doesn't wanna watch just because Karm(Nat) was boyfriend with Pupha, but I can tell you that that was just a part of show and don't be worry, it is so good. Soo good and very valuable to watch as a fantasy story.

People are being way to harsh on this series

It has been a while since l saw "two worlds" but i have some things to say after reading some very bad reviews.
I must say, I had no Problems in Terms of following the Plot.
Thus series is obviously on the more complicated plot side, but definitely not as hard to understand.
Just for reference, English is not my first language, so it has nothing to do with lack of understanding in this context.

I also would like to point out Nats massive improvement in Terms of acting. I even had goosebumps in some scenes cuz his acting was so damn good, it was nothing like in "naughty babe" or "cutie Pie"

Could Have Been So Much Better

Frankly, it is irrelevant how many worlds this series had; even a half a dozen more would not have helped. It is just awful. I am sorry to say that as I so wanted to like this drama. However, this is again going to be one of those series that if you are a fan of the two leads (which I really am), you will perhaps enjoy this series. I tried, but for me the whole thing fell apart at the beginning- from the banal screenplay to production issues to vapid acting. All of it was just plain mediocre to subpar.

The storyline was a good one, initially. I love transcendental legends, and this had all the earmarks of a great fantasy. The supernatural power of the Moon Shadow Waterfall is both miraculous and metaphysical. It can transport you to a parallel world where your loved one who died is not dead in that world but lives a conforming life. They are not resurrected by the same person in a parallel world. A worthy premise.
