Yasuyo Iwata, the youngest daughter of a knitwear wholesaler, devotes herself to practicing the piano . Her dream was to become a professional pianist, but her worried parents, pushed her to marry Sasaki, shop clerk, instead of develope her talents. But everything changes, when Yasuyo's mother, finds a better husband candidate for her daughter - Lieutenant Kano, promising Navy worker. At first, forced to take a part, in weird matchmaking, soon both Yasuyo and Keisaku, starts to feel something more to each other.
