Yoru no Shuyaku (1968)

Ogata, a lawyer from Ito Law Office, heads for Hakone with Ito, who has finished meeting with President Todoroki of Daito Corporation., but Ito dies in an accident on the way. Soon, Ogata is accused of professional negligence resulting in death. That deprives him of his license to practice law, and crush his whole personal life. However, he doesn't give up and tries to clear his name. In the process of doing so, he discovers the existence of a underground bank, that manipulates local businesses like a gray eminence. But what does this have to do with Ogata, and why did he get involved in this case in the first place?
