This short but sweet show was a total ride! After watching a few years of Chinese dramas I became accustomed to seeing the typical FL silently accepting adversity, and allowing herself to be bullied because she's too "nice" to retaliate and stand up for herself. I understand cultural norms, but eventually the wilting flower FL becomes overdone and repetitive. This FL was absolutely not willing to let others push her around, threw some of her own punches, and didn't allow anyone to mistreat her without retaliation. It was an absolute breath of fresh air and I NEED more FL's like this in my life.

An even better aspect was the ML. He adored her just as she was, no judgement. He even stood back and watched her with a smirk on his face while she was being a total badass. He was right there with her, helping her solve her problems and get her revenge, and enjoyed himself thoroughly through it all. He made no offhand comments or judgmental remarks about her decisions, and didn't try to change her strong sense of self. I also NEED more ML's like this in my life.

The over-wrought drama of the plot was a bit campy, but seemed intentionally so. The evil mistress-turned-wife and ex-almost-mother-in-law were worthy opponents for the FL, and their over the top antics added just the right amount of crazy to the plot. Even the FL's interactions with her ex-fiancée were extremely satisfying because of how decisive she was after his infidelity.

This drama was well worth the short amount of time it took to watch it. It's a quick binge to cleanse your palette of those flavorless boring FL's and controlling ML's.

short but missing something

been damn busy, so another short drama YT recommendation it is....

It's actually quite good drama, watching short scene got me hooked & search for the complete version. Unfortunately the plot kinda missing something. I know this just short duration drama with each ep 9-12 min. If only they prolong it a little bit & making the plot more elaborate, it's gonna be perfect short drama.

For example, who the hell is Jenny & what happen with her at the end. Or how An Duo Duo (DD) build the feeling for Qin Qi (QQ). Or how they trap Li Wei Wei (WW) to tell the truth in the end. The ending kinda fast forward, in the end they just show us that WW already confess & finally also hand Qin Lang's mom.

Btw, the most stupid plot this drama has to be where Dd & QQ pretend to be married but not making their married actually legal....

Overall this just another short drama to spend your time with...

I don't write many reviews, but need to leave feedback here.

The overall rating (7.7) is not that high, but I liked the drama and watched it until the end, which does not happen often.

It's probably me, but I like these stories with a fake marriage which ends up in true love.

The plot is not perfect, because it contains some unrealistic sections (how on earth would a young woman manage to disable all monitoring cameras in one street and hire killers...?).

But the chemistry between the FL and the ML is really fantastic and the FL is pretty and sweet. It was nice to see that the ML was after the FL from the very beginning. Funny the scene in the pool when the FL kicks the ML in the head ("why do you also live here").

And me too, I appreciated the FL being a strong young lady. Quite a contrast to the typical passive sweet FL.

good short series

Its refreshing to see strong female lead who can defend herself whereas the male lead is smart as well and tries to protect her in ways he can even tho sometimes fail to do so because the lady is no coward.
mostly u see a lot of short series having the guy protecting the weak lady but this is a good short series to enjoy your times with. Not to mention is not too short like those 5mins per ep miniseries. Its 10mins and i think is just right.

I like how the female lead just protects herself as best as she can and also find ways to avenge for the wrong that has been done to her. And like how the male lead also sticks around and help her in mischievous way he can.
i think the story is really cute.

The pace is good, storyline fits well and keeps you interested =)

Cute story

The story involving Qin Qi and An Duo Duo is very captivating and cute, from the first time they meet, until we discover how their fates were set. The secondary characters are a little angry and quite annoying, but they make the plot better. The story could address more about the characters' past, however, and as it's a mini-drama, it's understandable that they don't talk much about it.
In my opinion the acting could be a little better, but I liked the way they performed the "acting" within the acting.
It's a fast-paced drama to watch and quite fascinating for lovers of a love that grows from a "lie" to something real. Loved this B-rate series

It's low budget, but honestly, I'm loving it. Why? FL is kicking the butt of the would-be bullies, i.e. girl who cheated with her ex-fiancé and ex-fiancé's mom. This is so refreshing! Usually, FLs are doormats for these bitchy bullies, but this FL is no push-over. I loved it when she slapped the bitch twice in the office. Some people might think FL is a bitch herself, but hey, Wei Wei started it by stealing FL's fiancé and design, and she just won't let it be - she keeps picking at FL. I also loved it when FL flung the tea in her ex-mother-in-law's face! Although ML's power is helpful, this girl is quite capable of taking down the bitches herself. YAY! So, refreshing from most C-drama FLs. So fun watching the bullies get their just desserts for once.

As for ML, he needs to eat some meat (he's tall and skinny), but I like the mischievous look he gets on his face and the winks he exchanges with FL. Although he's the CEO, he hasn't been overly cold or bossy, i.e. grabbing or shoving FL up against wall. FYI - he knows her from the past and is already smitten with her. The best kind of ML, in my opinion. I like that ML willingly helped FL with her wedding stunt, and I like that FL is willingly playing the role of wife with compensation, which makes their relationship less angsty or combative. They're more like partners.

Although plus, ML's mom has already accepted her son's choice, and mom is a powerful figure in the family just like ML so the two harpies can't use ML's mom against FL. Another refreshing detail - I get so tired of the control freak, nasty parent plot device.

I don't know what the rest of the episodes hold, but right now, I love this drama despite it's low budget. I can't give it a 10 because of the lower quality in terms of set, acting, etc., but sometimes you don't need a 10 star drama to keep you entertained and cheering. I think this is the best low budget short C-drama I've watched...other than 'Please, Don't Spoil Me', but then, they ruined that funny, little drama with the 3rd Season and its ending. Bleh.

UPDATE: Watched the whole thing and I loved it! For a low budget, B-rate series, it was very good! Mostly, I say this because of FL and ML. FL was not the typical C-drama FL - she had backbone and doesn't react like a lot of these wishy-washy FLs. Only once was I disappointed in her reaction and that's when the psycho chick crashes ML's love confession. She totally overreacted and didn't give ML an opportunity to explain. Fortunately, in the next episode, she starts acting like the smart and mature person I expected her to be. She really shines when the truth about their marriage comes out and the reporters swarms her and ML. Unlike most C-drama FLs, she doesn't run away or break it off with ML; no, she stands up to the gossip and supports ML. She even kisses him in front of the cameras for everyone to see. YAY! Screw the gossips! At this point, they become a supportive and emotionally solid couple who work together to take down the villains. As for ML, he's really cute - especially when he's interacting with his secretary while planning the confession. I could see both of these leads moving into higher budget films in the future. As for the supporting cast, they were better than most B-rate films, especially the secretary, but ML/FL make this series worth watching.

STRONG FEMALE LEAD IS WHAT WE ROOT FOR

Holy cow, I am on a marathon right now. I think I will venture my way into Chinese web/short dramas now.

This show is amazing and the fact that it is just about 3 hours in total, it just felt like a really long movie. Plot is generic and cliché but the execution of the actors and the pacing overall is just chef's kiss. Not a single thing I wanted to skip except that annoying mistress chick who will not shut the fuck up.

FUCK I AM OBSESS WITH THIS COUPLE. Also, the main lead is so fucking charismatic, good lord I want him.

FINALLY, a strong female lead!

I would have to say that my favorite part of this drama was that the writers took a different direction than they normally take and made the FL smart and strong, without making her a total witch. Sadly, the preponderance of FLs seem to be doormats and/or not very smart. The ML was very supportive, but you didn't feel like the FL needed to be "saved", because she could take care of herself.

I watched this on YouTube and there was only one episode where the sound was wonky.

The ML and FL were cute. I always like when a man has liked a woman for a long time, and this was sweet.

I do have to say that the 2FL's acting was pretty bad.

As usual, the voice dubbing, especially for the 2FL was awful. Why do they always have to use the high, shrill voices?

This was good to watch while trying to pick my next drama.

Not really convinced by the plot

Though I appreciate all the strong FL stories but this one was weird. Points that I felt fall apart
1) FL or ML chemistry was totally off ...their romance sky rocketed all of sudden like there were on moments/ connecting links .. so in overall out come chemistry was off
2) the comedy punches are quite old and childish I believe the writing was too lousy to present nice humour.
3) the actors who played ML looked too immature for this character ... He seems like a high school boy wearing his father's Tux for farewell.
4) connecting links between the consecutive scenes were off ...the whole plot appeared to have missing something ..
5) and last but not the least is the irritating cowboy background music ..like do they even care to match the music along with drama setting ...how come this type of plot can have a cowboy style BG music

è un mini drama quindi ha tutti i pregi e tutti i difetti di questo format.
le vicende sono, come spesso accade, piuttosto inverosimili, specie se applicate ad un ambiente di società commerciali. rivalità familiari, gelosie, ripicche, tentati omicidi, complotti dirigenziali, situazioni alla papà Gambalunga, antiche amicizie e situazioni di infanzia che riverberano le proprie conseguenze in età adulta... quasi tutti i Cliché del genere sono contemplati e usati in quest'opera. allora perché un voto così alto? semplicemente perché, grazie al format di così breve durata, le situazioni non vengono gonfiate e ripetute oltre ogni limite e quindi lo svolgimento della trama si segue senza troppa difficoltà e soprattutto senza noia. gli attori hanno dato una buona prova di sé, facendo sì che, nell'insieme, le venti brevi puntate scorressero lisce come l'olio portandoci a lieto fine senza difficoltà. arrivare ai titoli di coda e non sentire di aver sciupato il tempo, in una romcom di questo tipo, è un ottimo risultato.
