Writer Mu Xiao Xi accidentally falls into her own novel as the wife of the main protagonist, Qin Chuan. Unlike the original female lead that Mu created, she is currently not at all possessive of him and rather rejects his presence on their first night together. She leaves his sight, but then a Plot Manager appears before her and starts giving her tasks on how to get out of her novel. One of the tasks provided is to sleep on the same bed as Chuan.
