Hotaru and Makoto start avoiding each other. Seiichi locks Hotaru and Makoto alone in a meeting room for them to reconcile, but Makoto doesn't notice that, and the door was later opened before they could ever talk. Hotaru and Seiichi go to a wedding ceremony. Seiichi learns that his wife was cheating on him with one of his juniors from university. Even though Hotaru and Makoto started having normal conversations again, Seiichi locks them again in the meeting room, to help them talk and clear the misunderstanding, but someone else opens the door for them moments later. Hotaru locks Seiichi in the bathroom for revenge, but forgets about him and leaves the house when she gets a call from the office about a problem. With the help of Hotaru, Makoto, and the other staff, they are able to fix the problem. Seiichi contacts his wife and tells her he agree to sign the divorce papers. Hotaru finally tells Makoto about her feelings and he tells her he is going to calls her later.
