Story centers around Punpun. She wants to be an idol, but her dad wants her to be a doctor. Her family is super sweet and supportive. They try to hide her competing to be an idol from her dad. And so she's struggling to balance her time between studying for exams to enter med school, competing and having a girlfriend. It's not easy at all.
Punpun and Itim are the cutest ever. Their relationship feels so sweet and natural. I like how they both had their own lives and dreams that they were pursuing while balancing being in each other's life. I feel like what happens with them is very realistic, and the way they handled things was quite healthy and mature given their circumstances.
Itim means "ice cream". So that's why you see that ice cream icon next to her name.
The story itself is about 80 minutes long, so the length of a movie split into two episodes. Tbh I like the split in that it gave me enough time to digest the set up in the first episode in order to fully appreciate what happens in the second. There is enough story in this to have been a series, but we take what we can get. 80 minutes is pretty great, too. I was totally immersed with Punpun's struggles, her cute family and GIRLFRIEND.
The OST totally has me hugging my pillow from the cuteness. It fits the story so well.
"Just the way you are.
Just that.
Just follow your heart.
You'll always have me.
Ready to be by your side."
I'm DYINGGGGGGG.
ENDING
If anyone is confused about the ending, don't be. What Gramma says about her relationship with Gramps is meant to foreshadow Punpun and Itim's relationship.

I absolutely adored Panpan and Tim and I am a forever fan officially but truly, I loved everything about the families, the story, how goofy and playful everything was and it was just a sweet and easy watch.
Acting was adorable, new and old veterans.
Music was adorable.
I've rewatched it twice now, with and without subs.
Go watch it.

Good, For What It Was
This was actually really good on many levels: the characters were compelling, the storylines were interesting, the acting was good. But it was all really hindered by being a short, two-episode miniseries. If this were a full-length twelve (or even eight!) episode where we had a chance to have character and relationship development, to see the side ships build, to have this cute friends-to-lovers GL story be given the chance it actually deserves... this could have been amazing.I'd say it's worth a watch, but it just could have been so much more.

Cute with potential but failed it's expectations
Just finished it! Okay. Yes. I can agree that it was one of the cutest mini series I've watched in a while, but people kept hyping it,that it would be great. I think its another title that failed to deliver it's hype, potential and expectations. But its okay. I have one weirdness. I leave whatever i consider a great movie/show so i can binge it in a 'perfect watch day'. Today i said olay lets see what all the fuss is about. As i said yes. I can agree it was cute. But other than that nothing more happened. It was so basic,so boring i would say.Why for example they didnt focus more between Pun And Tim and we had 3,4 unnecessary storylines? Maybe that was that i didnt like. People said that they experienced Pun and Tim's relationship in full. I only can remember 2-3 scenes that touched me. I know. Maybe im sounding harsh but when i expect to see a great short series and it fails im just disappointed. Yet another that disappoint me. How Zero Photography with Ink&Pa was better from this? It failed. And im sad. Pfff. Rip.Was this review helpful to you?
