Finally Boss got his babe

One of the must-watch. The series had a good start, and the story's pace was perfect. The chemistry between Gun and Cher/Laem is captivating. The whole cast did an outstanding job with their characters. The series was well written and directed. Gun and Cher/Laem are good together. Though it is another workplace drama, the cast seems good, and the storyline is typical yet fresh.

Plot:
This story revolves around Gun, a game development company owner and an intern Cher/Laem, and how they heal each other's hidden wounds.
Gun is a little intimidating and professional, while Cher is a cheerful and optimistic outlooker. No one can say anything dishearting to Cher/Laem, not even Gun.

Force and Book were the perfect jobs portraying Gun and Cher. I cannot imagine anyone else in their place. The chemistry between Gun and Cher was sizzling hot, yet it was cute. They had their problems (past, status and more), but somehow they overcame them together to become one. They are each other's safe place. I believe that Gun fell in love with Cher because he treats Gun like everyone else and the ASMR channel.

Well-wishers
Porsche gave the courage and support Gun needed the most.
Tub, Jack, Thi, Zo, Aoi and Ink genuinely cares about Gun and Cher's relationship. Tup and Aoi were humorous and easy-going characters. Jack was a reserved at the beginning of the series due to past trauma, but he destroyed his hurdles with his friend's and family's support.
Zo and Three are a lovely couple. They could have got more screen time.

Others
Tian: I felt terrible for what happened to Tian; her stepfather was the reason she killed herself, and he deserves torturous punishment for what he did with Tian.
Thup is a complex character, but based on what he has undergone in his past, why he is tough to understand and handle. Thup and his mom got their fair share of happiness.
Cher's mom and grandmother were great characters and could have got more screen time.
Gun's mother's character was added to fuel the drama and separation between Gun-Cher, but it turned out well. Finally, Gun's mom approved of their relationship.
Thyme could have had more screen space, and his characters ended abruptly. There is a lot of question that remains unanswered about his character.

Everyone got their happy ending. I just every single aspect of the series.

This series should be relabeled as the Cher Series

This is a 'so-so' romcom BL. The story itself is a rather mundane one with versions of its basic theme done 10 zillion times before. Rich CEO falls in love with someone of less stature than him with everyone around him knowing that but trying to pretend that they are unaware. What makes this one more remarkable is Book Plookphol as Cher (Laem). He brings such life to a character that I have not seen in a long time. He has such a charismatic presence about him that comes through even with his smile.

More like a fanboy and a chatterbox

This is such a cute series from the start! I like that it is light and funny (actually, it wasn’t as light and funny as I expected), especially as I have been watching some quite dark and heavy stuff lately. While the main theme of the series is nothing new, I absolutely love what they did with the characters. I also think it’s very fun to have a game company and gaming competitions be a part of the series, even if I hoped to see more of it.

Gun & Cher: I find Cher absolutely adorable, both the way he acts and just how talkative he is. He is unapologetically himself. But he also shows a sense of maturity and understanding for those around him, which might be due to his past. He is not childish to the point of it being annoying, he is simply being himself. Or maybe that’s his way of hiding the pain. Boss Gun is an interesting character too; we learn pretty quickly that there are some events from his past that are still bothering him. And that not everyone in his life is supportive of him. And he’s Cher’s fan, how cute! Cher was first introduced as someone who brings out the more relaxed side of Gun, but I think Gun quickly became a safe person for Cher. Yet he never pressures him into sharing more than he is willing to, he simply lets him know he is there for him when he is ready to talk. Another thing that I absolutely love is the attention to details – even the way Gun and Cher sit while having breakfast really shows how their personalities are.

I also absolutely love the fact that whatever happens between Cher and Gun is always consensual. Gun is in a position of power and that is something he could easily use to get what he wants, yet he never really pressures Cher into anything. Cher can always refuse something, and Gun doesn’t get mad at him. If anything, Cher seems to be the more daring one between the two, erasing all the “normal” boundaries of boss-intern, even friend-friend, relationships. I feel that their excellent communication also helps with showing that Gun is not taking advantage of his position. They talk very openly about everything, and I find that very refreshing. It’s nice to see.

Another thing that I really want to praise is the way they talked about LGBTQ+ community. There is a lot of gossip happening around the office about boss and his preferences. The first time Cher put them in their place, I wanted to clap. Or adressing how rude it is to speculate about who is a top and who is a bottom - like you don't ask a straight couple in what position they do it, so why would you do that to a gay couple?

Force and Book have great chemistry on screen. I think they did great with portraying their characters. I also think their visuals really fit the characters well, so that was a great casting decision. Not sure how similar they are to their roles in real life, but I am sure that Cher’s constant chatting was a challenge for Book, but he pulled it off.

Zo & Three: They are adorable, especially for already being an established couple. I am living for the short, cute, and sweet moments between them. Three seems to have some anger issues, he is very quick to blow up. But Zo seems to be able to handle him pretty well. There’s probably a story behind this, but we didn’t really get to know it.

Jack is also a character I like a lot. He has a lot on his plate, including his depression, yet he is such a great friend to Cher. I do feel we are missing some backstory to Jack. And also how the whole friend group came to be. He might appear a bit rough on the edges sometimes, but I think his straight-to-the-point personality also helps to keep Cher grounded. Cher’s cheerfulness and slightly impulsive behavior keep Jack on his toes. I know some people don’t like him sticking his nose into Cher’s relationship with Gun, but Jack didn’t mean anything bad. He wanted to make sure his friend won’t get hurt in the end.

I have mixed feelings about Porsche. There are moments where I feel like his relationship with Gun is very weird and too close for someone who used to be a couple. But at the same time, it makes a lot of sense as Gun is not someone who opens easily. He finds it hard to let people in. It was nice to see how supportive the two were though, we usually get exes who are ready to do anything to either destroy each other's happiness or want to get back together.

Ah, Thoop. I knew there was going to be something more than just him being a brat. And while what Tian went through is heartbreaking, Thoop’s guilt is no less painful. I also understand why he acted the way he did. And his reaction when he saw Gun and Cher together makes a lot of sense.

The whole Thyme situation is one that didn’t really get a full closure. I guess one could say it did, but it still feels like there was still a lot unsaid and unfinished.

And I think it’s great that they don’t tend to drag conflicts through multiple episodes but get them resolved fairly quickly. It makes it more realistic, but it also doesn’t ruin the anticipation for new episodes.

The OST is really catchy as well. I really like it. I like the intro as well. And I found the boss and intern characters adorable!

They are everything to me. This was pure comfort.

After Enchanté I had very low expectations for these two again. I even thought it was just going to be a copy of GAP The Series, but with men. It was actually very similar to GAP, but it was hard for me to admit that it was even better (since I love GAP and put lesbians in priority 'cause they have less representation). Force and Book were absolutely amazing. They were always good together, but the plot of Enchanté didn't help them. A Boss and a Babe was very well produced, written and the acting was great. I love cat and dog couples and this is now one of my favorites. I have spent the last weeks just thinking about them and waiting for fridays to come, they made me very happy. I also loved how when they (barely) fought, it would last 2 min (for us) and then they would solve it.

Another Gem by GMMTV

GMMTV BL never fails to amaze me. I love the green couple! It showed some clichés and novel scenes at the same time. I loveeeed Gun, he is such a green flag. I also liked how they handled the boss intern taboo, they tried to knit everything up by showing that real emotions of any strong person in that situation- frustrated, intimidated, confused at first but then coming out strong by breaking all the barriers. I enjoyed the idiotic mishaps of the gaming gang, they are the true kind of friends that you need in your life. I was impressed by subtle presentation of mental health issues through Jack without over exaggerating anything. It was dark but shiny at the same time. It involved me into there struggles but the characters didn't make me sad, their zeal of fighting back the situations and being optimistic was truly inspiring. The part of this story that I loved the most was that Gun and Cher were shown as the two sides of same coin, both handled the tussles of their lives by hiding their emotions but in such drastically different ways. However, they slowly started trusting each other and opened their bare scars in front of each other. After a long period of time, a show affected me in such a positive manner. I laughed almost half of the series with all the cuteness at the same time empathized with the serious parts of the series. All in All 10/10

a pleasant surprise

As always, these are just my thoughts and opinions and not intended to offend or upset :) Really, it’s just my rambles.

I’ll be honest, when this is a series I didn’t care about when it started. I didn’t actually give it a try until it was quite a few weeks in to airing, and even at that I only even watched because of Our Sky 2 and its upcoming special episodes. I’m actually mad at myself for not jumping on this as soon as it began because I fell in absolute love with this series.

This was my first time seeing Force and Book in anything and gosh, they give FirstKhao a run for their money when it comes to chemistry. I absolutely adored every scene they shared, and I cannot wait to dive into their other work.

The support cast was fantastic, especially Mike Chinniret as Jack; I know he almost always plays the best friend, but he’s just perfect in that role; I would, however, love to see him main his own series. He’s such a great actor.

I know the storyline it simple and cliche, but it was executed so perfectly that it was just a fun and easy to fall into. That’s not to say there wasn’t any angst or drama - there was plenty of that, and it was just as engrossing as the fluff.

Delightfully shallow

"A Boss and A Babe" is a lighthearted office rom-com that serves as a perfect guilty pleasure for those seeking a breezy escape from reality. With its irresistibly charming male lead, Force, the show offers a visual feast for the eyes, while the storyline playfully dances around conventional office romance tropes. While it is not a show to be dissected for deeper meaning or life lessons, it does provide a humorous glimpse into the quirks and pitfalls of miscommunication that occasionally border on the toxic. Best enjoyed with a generous pinch of salt and a willingness to embrace its frothy frivolity, "A Boss and A Babe" will have you grinning as you indulge in its unapologetic simplicity.

Another Healthiest relationship

It was a good enjoyable BL show. Honestly, I didn't had much expectation to this show, but instead, it was way better than I expected. I was literally surprised by the improvement of ForceBook acting (from Enchante to this). Very well done boys!! and I always appreciate and cheer for actors who tend to improve their acting after every project. They are not exceptional actors in the first place, but they played their roles super well and did justice to their characters. Also, they look really good with each other, other than the fact that both are incredibly pretty.

But the highlight and takeaway from this series is the relationship between Gun and Cher. They are one of the healthiest couple. Everytime one has problem the other puts all his things and issues aside to just be there for him. It just makes my heart smile just looking at them.

I also liked the other characters. The friendship between Cher and his friends felt pure and good.

In terms of the story, There were some potholes in the story especially the introduction of some heavy topics in a lighthearted show. Even though they managed to cover in solving those issues in the end, it seemed a bit rushed.

Overall the good acting and chemistry of each of the characters in the show somehow saved the show and made it intresting.

Note: Forcebook really need to do more mature roles. They just slay. Specially Book, like I was soo impressed in the scenes where he gets angry. The scene where he fights with Gun and the Bathroom scene where he just lashes out ,was soo good. He does these kind of roles soo well. Plese give ForceBook more angry roles!!!. I am sure it will be a hit.

Could’ve been 10 eps

So overall I liked this show, but it had the potential to be a love it show.

Force and Book really carried this show because there were some draggy episodes and some unnecessary plot points. Overall it could’ve been 10 eps.

They added some plot points that were left either unresolved or poorly solved

SOME SPOILERY BUT NOT TRUE SPOILER PLOT HOLES:

-Drake’s character and the stealing the company secrets, he kept denying it, so they could’ve added a plot twist. His friendship with Boss just fizzles and we get no deeper backstory either?
-Jack’s depression & failed prior relationship, they mentioned both several times but it added nothing to the main plot line so why keep mentioning them as if they were important to the story. I thought they’d throw us a curveball but I’m glad they didn’t make his depression a reason why he does something unsavory. (Which is why I thought that’s why they kept mentioning it).
-Tian, Thoop & the fam, so you gonna tell me they made Thoop’s arrest and fam confrontation such a big deal and then ‘resolve’ it off cam and now the fam is A Ok afterwards? Sorry the mom is unforgivable. F$#k that B1tch!
-Three & Zo were beyond cute as a couple but they had no major value add to the main GunCher plot line.

And lastly, Gun aka Boss fell in love with Cher’s voice because of ASMR vids he did, they didn’t film or show not one vid of Cher doing ASMR. It became almost irrelevant after ep 2.

A Boss and a babe is a rockstar

The series is excellent! This is the fifth time I've seen this series and it still kills me with laughter every time. The combination of Cher and Gun is perfect one is super animated and outgoing while the other is serious and totally introverted. So their personalities clash which makes all their interactions at first hilarious. But later they learn to treat and appreciate each other and their relationship becomes preciously special.

To me this series is amazing, from start to finish. But what I really find unique about A Boss and a Babe are the simple but so meaningful moments. How their relationship evolves and becomes so important. How they support each other. I really feel like every interaction of theirs warms my heart.

I also love that it's such a comedic series but its dramatic scenes are so intense. Book and Force's performance in their fights makes my skin crawl.

I have nothing more to add, I think people who don't like this series is because they are not used to the kind of cartoonish humor of Asian series.

cute, light hearted and hilarious, watch with an open mind?

Ah yes, Gmmtv delivered once again. ForceBook's chemistry was great in this series, this storyline suited them better than Enchanté, especially for book. So many funny moments and Jack and cher's friendship is the most sincere I've ever seen Jack is so caring towards cher. Three and Zo, 1 word, cute😂.

what I liked:

• ForceBook chemistry greatly improved
• funny moments
• office characters especially Aoi
• Jack and cher's friendship 💚
• cher's friendship group (especially Zo and three)
• addressed numerous serious life issues
• Refreshing light plot with little drama

what I didn't like:
• the kissing scenes were a bit awkward NGL😂
• the main plot twist was a bit too srs for such a light story
• thoop didn't really show any usefulness to the story

But overall so fun and fluffy greatly recommended.

A fun and mostly lighthearted show with a classic workplace premise

NO-SPOILER REVIEW

Pros
- The inter-office relationship dynamic is done in a cute and fun way
- The story follows a pretty good pace and things don't drag on
- There's decent chemistry between the leads and they're both attractive

Cons
- You don't really feel as deep of a connection between characters in this series compared to some others.
- The acting (or maybe the story/script?) for a lot of the characters is a bit amateur or stilted.

Overall
- A fun watch not to be taken too seriously
