It's a 7, but it's <3 so cute
It's adorable! I gave a 7, but is actually very cute and sweet! But let me tell you, point by point.About the story: I didn't like the development, and 12 episodes were so much, the series easily will fit into 10 or maybe 8 episodes.
Thinking about Gun (Force) and Cher/Laem (Book), I was really endeared by their dynamics, it was 2 roles that fit them very much. Cher was so, so, SOOO adorable, I wanted to bite him. He was so cute, sweet, gentle, and such a sunshine! And that's exactly why I was a little upset with the screenplay, bcs some actions and things that he did was just so weird when you think about his personality?? About Gun, he was such a gentleman, but... they described him as a cold person and he just wasn't at all? Just a normal boss ig. And that made me a little lost.
In action topics, ForceBook was very good! Force (Gun) was perfect. But I have to say: I love Book, he is a good actor and SO CHARISMATIC (and that's exactly why he's a perfect Cher) but he really slacked in dramatic scenes, all his crying scenes were weird and not natural, it looks like he was really forcing and it wasn't working.
About other characters, the gamers were a very cute group of people, and they were REALLY good, supportive, and caring friends, but Jack made me a little ermmm bcs some of his attitudes. Nothing too deep, tho, he was a good friend at all. Three and Zo were a cutie couple too!
What feels so weird about AB&AB it's that we have 12 episodes, but seems like I didn't watch 12 episodes at all, but at the same time, 12 episodes for what? Because what exactly was happening in all that TWELVE epsiodes? Weird, IDK how to explain at all so... That's it.

Strong beginning but slowly lost its touch
The story started well with both Cher and Gun having depth to their character with a sad and messed up past. Along the way, things got out of hand when they didn't give enough focus to side characters.Thyme/Time and Thoop were 2 neglected pieces in this story. Till the end, they never showed what went wrong between Gun and Thyme, which means it was a lost friendship that could have actually made the story more interesting. As for Thoop, we don't know what happened with the drug charges, and neither do we know what happened to his stepfather.
The biggest plot hole was when they showed Thoop reconciling with his mother who knew all along that Tian was getting raped by her stepfather. That's a very insensitive way of showing forgiveness. As far as I know, legally, the mother should also go to jail as an accomplice since she never intervened even though she knew that a minor was getting assaulted.
We also don't know why Thi was so hell-bent to win the gaming competition. I mean I understand that he wanted to win but his reaction when they all won't have time to practice made us think there is some backstory or maybe a dream. Instead of focusing on that, the series only showed the cheezy romantic part of Thi and Zo's relationship.
So, overall a good one-time watch if you want to enjoy a light-hearted romance and have a laugh.

Cute, easy to watch show
I watched this for ForceBook after I saw them in Enchante and Only Friends. It is cheesy in places but loads of GMMTV shows are, the sound effects, over the top acting (no hate to the actors - they are directed that way) - I expect that all when watching GMMTV.But ForceBook still let their chemistry come through, the way they look at each other, take care of each other, and the amount of affection is perfect and it made the show very easy to watch. There isn't too much drama that I was on the edge of my seat, but definitely enough to keep me watching!
The storyline is slightly strange eg. the age gap - I can't remember if they said their ages but I'm assuming Cher is 21 ish and Gun 25-30 (they're both adults I guess?). Also OhmFluke was a couple I hadn't seen before and loved them, they were adorable!
Overall a fun show with plenty of likeable characters and humour - good for a rewatch on a bad day to cheer yourself up.

Wholesome & cute show, but conflict was poorly resolved
In BAAB, it’s clear that Force and Book have chemistry. In fact, BAAB was a smoother watch than Enchante. But on the whole, I didn’t really feel emotionally invested or connected to the characters.Plus points for the show: Easy to watch, very cute, and filled with wholesome interactions. The show makes perfectly meaningful points on how people may not be who they seem, and how love is really about accepting someone for who they are beyond the surface.
Iffy points: The boss-intern trope wasn't done so well here. This boss-intern tension culminates in a baffling and also somewhat lame resolution. In order to tie up loose ends, the conflicts resolved themselves in rather superficial ways.
Overall, was this a perfectly enjoyable show? Absolutely. But was it GMMTV’s best in terms of writing? Nope.

Not unpleasant to watch but lacking in consistency
The story is quite simple but not uninteresting. The subjects are quite modern: acceptance of homosexuality, sexual violence, depression, work relationships. The actors are quite convincing.Unfortunately, these good points are not enough to erase the problems of this series:
1/ Cher's character is really irritating, especially at the beginning: talks too much to say everything that goes through his head, does too much, takes up too much space. He calms down afterwards but as we had difficulty to get attached to him at the beginning, it remains complicated to be captivated by his story. On the contrary, Gun is very bland. The contrast between the two leaves a strange impression.
2/ Most of the subjects, quite modern, are only skimmed over. We would like to know more and understand the resolutions.
3/ The love story is badly described. We don't understand how they fall in love and especially so quickly.
In summary, this series is rather pleasant to watch but will not leave an imperishable memory.

It turn out to be a mess!
What started out as a sweet romcom just went downhill....I understand that there are bound to be issues in relationship but I feel the issues at hand here is unnecessarily complicated, messy and unhealthy!
I don't like how Cher is still not moving on from the past and I hate that Boss has to clear up the mess associated with this! To make it worse, Cher wasn't even an item with Thian. Wth is going on here.
It gets really messy and all over the place in the last few episodes, I started skipping parts and eventually dropped this drama since I just ended up disappointed and frustrated
As I said, it started out really great, I was looking forward to every episoe, I was not skippping any parts, until it gets unnecesarily dramatic.
Force's great acting is what's keeping me to rate this drama above 7!

FORCEBOOK DESERVE BETTER.
It's not a bad show. I just feel that this might get boring towards the end. Tbh I don't really like this writer director duo. I've noticed that they've worked on star on my mind & between us both of which were very weak in terms of plot and writing. I still haven't completed star in my mind. It got so boring and annoying towards the end. They kept dragging on even though it was just 8 episodes and between us also got really annoying by the last few episodes. The confession was dragged for no reason at all. People only love these shows because of the actors. I waited a year for between us and had really high expectations but I was let down. In fact I really think this writer should find another job. She keeps ruining potentially good shows by bad writing.I'll wait and see what happens with a boss and a babe.
I feel really sorry for ForceBook . Their shows always air after the biggest hits in the industry. Enchante after bad buddy and now boss baby after my school president. They are always compared and people don't enjoy it as much.
Well I'm looking forward to only friends 'cause I have faith in P'Jojo .I'm sure he will bring out their full potential .

What I feel about this series so far (Up to Ep 2)
As a really big fan of fluffy, cute and funny plots and characters, this series entertains me in many different ways. I do know that some people do not like how Book overreacts for the comedy plots, but I enjoy it very much. (I might cringe at times though). Episode 1 did not have much major plots, but I like how the story is not dragged to 5+ episodes just to realize that Gun is a fan of Cher's ASMR channel. The fact that Gun is so whipped for Cher makes me feel soft, so the first episode was just a cute ride. Basically, there is not much to talk about episode 1 since the scenes are just introducing the characters and stuffs. For episode 2, I felt that the timings for some scenes are odd, but there are a few memorable scenes. Cher can sometimes be very annoying because of his talkative nature, but he never tells lies. He confronted those two women and also comforted Gun really well. Plus, when Gun talks about people asking top and bottom stuffs, he really called out all those weird people in our society. The episode also kind of hinted some stuffs about Gun's past, so I am looking forward to how the story will be revealed. It is really heartwarming to see Gun starting to show his inner feelings to Cher and the fact that he felt comfortable to hang out with Cher. Not to spoil any longer, the ending of the episode 2 was so surprising, but felt natural tbh.
Since only 2 episodes are aired for now, I will not comment further.
For the cast, I am really glad that ForceBook are back because I felt that Enchante did them dirty. They click with each other and look very cute in real life, so their scenes together seemed natural for me.
For the OST, I was actually surprised that Book is the one who sang when I heard the ost from the official trailer.
Overall, it may not be one of the best BLs, but the series is not a flop at all. It makes my Friday nights enjoyable and ForceBook's chemistry is overflowing, too.
Everyone has different opinions, so I do not mind if you agree or disagree with mines.

i got good things out of this show, none of them were related to the plot
i am weirdly grateful for this series because it was like the third thai bl i watched when i got into them about an year back, and it introduced me to Force and Book... that further made me wanna watch Only Friends and OF because my favourite show ever. also it made me crush on Ohm Tpk's character, hence pushing me a little to watch Last Twilight... and also i discovered Our Skyy 2 from this show, then watched MSP because their episodes seemed interesting... so basically this show was my big push into the thai bl fandom, even though the plot was "you cant even try to use your brain for this hot mess"Was this review helpful to you?

The duality and acting
Let's break this down to a few categories.Acting
I have watched enchante before this and I would say their acting has improved by quite a bit. I think Force's acting improved more significantly and I think his portrayal of this character is well done. For Book, he is also doing a great job at portraying his funny but morally wise and supportive character. As for the side characters, I would say they as well are portraying their roles well. But this is just the second episode.
Story
Although this type of office romance is kinda common, I would say this is executed well (it is different from the typical university students au). The story touches on some important concepts even within this BL community, like talking about top and bottom, mother and father when it is absolutely unnecessary. They can be whoever they like. Thye also bring up the topic of depression would I look forward to see this develop in later episodes. This is all done with comedy infused.
Ost
Book's voice is not that bad, but I would not say the ost is one of the best, but it is certainly good (I am in a choir and learn abt singing and what not).
Screenwriting
The dialogues for Cher's lines feel like they fit him completely, and this is the same with Gun. I would like to talk about the bbq scene. I feel like the dialogue of the friends when they first met him is a bit overexaggerated but I don't know whether it is intentional.
Miscellaneous
I would say that this pacing is not bad. Even though we get the first kiss in ep 2, which from other shows usually come at about ep 5-7, I would not say it is fast paced. They both agreed to have their first kiss and might even want to be a couple at this point.
Ending note
This show is a must-watch for BL fans. Overall, it is a 8.5/10 for me. It's more of a leisure show than a serious show so expect laughs. This is definitely worth a rewatch if it remains this performance.

A Boss and a Babe is a sweet and nice series
Impressions until EPISODE 02:GMMTV has a gift, in my opinion. Their series always have a superficial synopsis and seems to have nothing to offer, but when you realize, their show becomes your most waited of the week. A boss and a babe is almost a gay version of the GL Gap the series, a romance between the Company CEO and an employee. Cher is that kind of person who has a kid purity, and that conquers Gun, the mysterious boss who scares his team with his cold and silent personality. Even with the intimidation that the boss makes the staff feels, Cher doesn't feel pressured at all and continues with his big mouth and deeply sincere comments. The dynamic between Force and Book shines in all their scenes. They perfectly fits their roles and the chemistry jumps the screen. We have a kiss already in episode 02 and the story is really passionate.
