cute

Uh, what an interesting place to confess. Holy fuck the quality is so much worse lol. Trying to get better quality. v2. Hopefully. Okay, yes. It is still low quality but that's fine. That is actually a pretty good place to confess. The mom from my school president. Preying on him bro, 23 his brain isn't even completely developed yet dawg. Oh, that's not a good feeling. I feel bad for Karan bro. "He's a man." That doesn't make it okay. That makes me very sad actually. Achi was the first person to see him beyond the superficial. Oh shit. And Karan was the only person to notice all of his hard work. Oh fuck, development. Karan is this confident guy but Achi makes him all nervous and weird. 7 years holy fucking shit. You can't even make a crazy out-of-the-blue trip to Chiang Mai because you don't have a car. Running on what looks to be the highway in a suit with a backpack on is fucking funny. All because she ships them, that makes that funnier. Rock is in love and if he is not then I am tripping. Achi picked the wrong career, someone get him on the national team for fucking running. He is not quite sure how he feels about you but he knows that it is love. Awe. I know he smells fucking horrible. Awe dude, this is actually really cute. But it is the 6th episode, which is a problem, but that's fine. Why focus on the future when we have the present waiting for us? Okay bye!

Five Stars

When two feelings finally become one

I liked this episode because Achi finally realized his feelings for Karan. Karan really the definition of green flag man! I love him so much. I love when every morning he kept the elevator open for Achi. Every afternoon, he boiled the water for Achi’s coffee and every evening he closed the curtains to protect Achi from the sun <3 --- And thanks to Pai who helped Achi to looked for ideas to meet Karan in airport. And the ending i the end, I couldn't stop the tears of joy when I saw Achi confess his feelings for Karan. Both of them deserved all of the happiness! --- #CherryMagicTHep6 full filled with relief! <3

The Moment It Clicked

I love this story, from the Manga to the Japanese show until this adaptation. I had been very perplexed by some of the choices made in this adaptation until I saw this episode and realized what was going on. The Manga is very "bare bones" in that it has the characters sketched out and insinuations of some themes, and adaptors can either pick up those threads or not.The thing that the Thai adaptations does better than any other versions is the romance. TayNew sell it well, even if I don't always fully believe their characters 100% of the time, their charisma as a partnership covers up the cracks. It's very well done and they generate enough good-will to keep me tuning in.Everything else? Mess. The secondary couple are sorely miscast. I know they're popular but they just can't pull off a 8-10 year age gap successfully and so you have these two sweet guys wearing silly costumes to try to age them up or down, and it's just not good. Then there is the third couple. I have spent every episode until now trying to figure out why there is a third couple because it doesn't exist in any other adaptation, and forcing Pai into a relationship really diminishes here character arc and the themes that she represents. Rock's character is irredeemable in the Thai version and has been oddly separated from any traits, motivations or actions that made him empathetic in the first place. In every other adaptation, he's annoying, but Achi learns that he's fiercely loyal and cares deeply for his friends and their success. Here he has no depth and as I was thinking about this and wishing someone would toss his ass out of the cab into oncoming traffic so we wouldn't have to deal with him any longe, I realized that that's the point. The Thai version has no interest in exploring any of the themes, like self-satisfaction, self-actualization, self-confidence or the way self-confidence is necessary to have a healthy relationship, that are present in the source material or expanded in other adaptations. It just wants to show you thinly-sketched characters fall in love in the midst of product promotion. And that's fine. The Japanese live series is like a classic Renaissance painting, there are details in every corner and every character and setting and emotion is perfectly in focus. The Thai version is like a song that's a duet with too many background singers.I'll keep watching because I quite enjoy TayNew's performances and the choices they've made so far. Theirs is the strongest partnership of all the adaptations, and I'll watch the second couple just to see what they do with that, but every time Rock's face shows up, I'm fast-forwarding cuz f*ck that guy.

Feeling a little bit conflicted

On the one hand, it's cute that Karan was doing all those little things to help make Achi's day better - that's perfectly respectful of his boundaries, and it shows that his love language might be acts of service. Which is adorable. -- On the other hand, I don't know if I believe Achi's feelings for him are romantic. Up until now, he's only seemed grateful for Karan's feelings and his help. He himself says that he doesn't know what being in love is like, so I'm afraid he might be confusing gratitude with love? Idk, it just didn't look that organic that he *suddenly* likes Karan romantically. The realisation that Karan had been helping him all along should have been more gradual, in my opinion. --- The chasing at the airport was so funny lol, it's such an overused trope but it works I guess. At least they're on the same page now.

PERFECT CASTS

All the 3 couples get their proper build up, even Rock-Pai starting to get some highlights here, it took 6 episodes for me to realize, Thai Version stomps Japanese one

taking care of a person who takes care of the whole office

in this ep after Karan confessed his feeling to Achi after being jealous the whole day, he went back to his home, and he started thinking of the day Achi helped him when he got scolded by his boss for rejecting a client. Though what Achi said did not make sense Karan felt better.Karan starts to remember all the things he did to take care of Achi like holding the elevator for him so he does not bump into it, closing the curtains for him at the time the sun would Achi's face, boil the water for Achi to coffee. And on valentine's day he wanted to ask Achi to go to a concert together but did not. In the end Karan decides to go to Chaing Mai for work. The next day Achi bumps into the elevator, the sun d hits his face, the water being not boiled he cound not make coffee. So in the end Achi realizes what Karan was doing and concludes that he also has feeling for Karan . Achi ruches to meet Karan before he goes to Chaing Mai and meets him and conveys his feeling .Karan hugs Achi and this time Achi could not here Karan's inner voice. In the end i need to wait a week more for more cuteness

The green flags, the backstory, the realisations, the race to the airport, the confession and then that incredible hug. How is my heart supposed to deal with this much love and perfection?!
