Episode two was much more entertaining

I admit I shed a few tears I just can't stand watching Park Hyunshik being wronged. This drama is very strange though.. the leads are supposed to be doctors yes doctors are humans too but I'd expect a little more empathy from supposed doctors. Female lead judging him and saying that he's living well even though she knows now about his situation is so weird.. I mean she's also going through a hard time at work but that is not something he's aware of. Now I am all too aware of the mental health stigmas I am latina with a very conservative religious family . So yes, I totally get it. But when she tells her "friend" who's also a DOCTOR, that she's been diagnosed with depression and she just brushes her off by saying we all are depressed" is such a BS thing to say to someone going through a rough time who is supposed to be your friend. Specially when she's having a hard time accepting it herself and it took so much courage for her to bring it up. Instead she's more interested in knowing the gossip of the protagonists academic rivalry... I'm sorry but it is so disappointing to see. Yes it's only been two episodes and hopefully everyone not just the protagonists have a growth and redemption arc. But if it stays like this through out I am not sure exactly what kind of message they're trying to send...besides all of that this episode was much more entertaining than the first.

JUST SO RELATABLE TO ME

Let me just first say that of all the drama's I've watched from different country's, Korean Dramas always hits the very spot like, okay off course this is a Korean Drama , nothing beats.. coz for me of my observation, everything here is so precise and detailed and flawless and, the characters are so much true to life specially Ha Neuls mother !! And please tell me who did not cried on this episode ! Like what the fuck I cried also because just like the characters here I wanna quit about everything and I am also tired of everything !! I so love specially during Ha Neuls confrontation of her mother about her quiting her job and she said like even getting sick is not allowef for her ? Like damn ! Who wrote that script !! I can relate so much !! This is just episode 2 I have watched and I already needed time to cope up here, one is depressed and one is being canceled, the story is in season ! I can't wait to see what's gonna happen here

Five Stars

The first week of this rom-com has come to an end and we have to say that this was an information-loaded premiere, which is a given in Kdramas. It’s only been two episodes and I love the focus on mental health that is brought on through this show and the seriousness that Ha-neul’s family shows for the same.Meanwhile, Jeong-jae’s childishness that he reveals in front of Ha-neul is a pleasure to watch as this persona of his remains the same in 2009 and the present, but only in front of her. And, certainly, he can only be himself in front of her as the demands of his family are no less than those of the world. The two protagonists are characters who have been roughed up by the world which turned them into diamonds, however, the pressure around them hasn’t come to an end which is why they are reaching their breaking points. The bonus is the way Park Hyung-sik and Park Shin-hye portray these characters which has certainly led viewers to feel the intense emotions that they are going through in every scene. Finally, it looks like depression isn’t the only mental health condition that is being shown here and it seems that there is another character with a disorder that could be shown later. Could you guess which one? Let us know down below!

having someone by your side can really do wonders.

this episode shows how nonchalant haneul is and how petty and overacting jeungwoo is lol this combination makes their interaction more funny.

i love when haneul stood up for herself and chose her health.

i feel for jeungwoo when he learned what his friends were doing behind his back. i feel for haneul for not being able to express herself and share what she was going through with her family.

i'm really glad that they found comfort with each other and their cries at the end of the episode were something i think everyone needed if everything felt too much.

and the mysterious man is giving us something to look forward to aside from the romance.

this episode didn't disappoint too and can't wait for the next one.
