Sweet, short and adorable mini-show
This is a sweet and adorable mini-show. Even if the storyline isn’t exactly new, it is still entertaining.Character wise:
FL is supposed to be this accomplished woman from modern times. That is why I don’t understand how she sometimes suddenly becomes this immature and whiny girl.
ML is the typical prince/king/CEO except that he isn’t ice-cold and arrogant.
Acting wise this is ok given the comical angle to the show. Some scenes and characters are exaggerated, cringe or silly, but it is primarily a comedy so that is somewhat understandable.
So, if you want something sweet and short - with absolutely no angst or suspense - this is well worth watching.

This is a lighthearted and cute comedy with a super slow burned romance that works its way at the very end. The plot is not about the romance but the changes that the modern woman that transmigrated into the body of Su Jin Xia, the daughter of the Great General, (played by Gao Qiu Zi), and the social changes that she brings about for larger sized woman with the help of her husband, the young and new Emperor Qin Mo Lin, (played by Kepler). The leading couple has a very nice playful chemistry but lacks romantic expressions, especially Gao Qiu Zi as the leading lady. Although there are some funny cute moments, most of the intended comedy was through overly exaggerated facial expressions and awkward moments. If the drama would have gotten the leading couple together earlier, then Qin Mo Lin would have really shown his love for his larger sized Empress since his loving expressions were done nicely. Overall, the drama didn’t deliver proper comedy nor nice romance. Was this review helpful to you?
