Best bl of 2023
The best bl series and romance series overall I've ever seen. This series is what happens when they cast actors who really know how to act and the result is incredible. The chemistry was of the charts and im now oficially in love with ki-tae's character, his playfullness and casual affection is so refreshing to see on screen. I will not get over having finished it, please if you see it do it legally to support it.Was this review helpful to you?

I wasn't very into it at first but satisfied my expectations by the end
I would say, in the first few episodes i wasn't very fond of how it's going but by the last 2-3 episodes it got so much better to a point i was screaming in my pillow because of how cute they were![spoiler alert]
So,
I was not very into it at first but soon i fell in love. i loved the lil teasing shin ki-tae does in the first few episodes and lee wan's reaction is priceless lol. later in the episodes i felt that ki-tae's confession was a lil rushed and felt out of nowhere but they made it feel right afterwards.
For me the best part of the series was after his confession till the very end. it was fun to see ki-tae's efforts to get wan to say yes to him it's really cute. They were so adorable and i also loved the way the story went. ki-tae's separation anxiety was portrayed very well and wan's awkward behaviour was also acted out very well so hats off to the cast. the supporting roles were just as good too.
This might be a lil weird but i HAD to mention the kiss separately. IT WAS PERFECTTT!! I'm not a huge fan of drunk kisses but i swear it was so smooth we could feel the need and longing threw the screen. It was short yet tender.
overall it was very worth using my precious vacation days watching it and was short yet sweet and perfect for a quick rewatch. 9/10 from me <33

My new favorite
This was the sweetest, most heartfelt BL I've watched thus far. Although it only has 8 episodes, and each episode is only about 15 minutes long, it was enough. I don't think making it longer would have made it better. The script had everything it needed in order to tell the story well. The acting itself, the movements, the emotions, the dialogue, all seemed genuine. The mini-game at the end of each episode helped to show the background of the characters and assisted with story progression, while adding a fun element and keeping the show from taking itself too seriously. The story centers around Lee Wan, who confessed his feelings to his best friend, Shin Ki Tae, directly after their high school graduation. After the confession, Wan runs away without giving Ki Tae time to process the confession. Lee Wan completely removes himself from Ki Tae's life, leaving Ki Tae searching for him for the next 7 years. Upon reencountering Lee Wan, Ki Tae wastes little time working his way back into Wan's life, leaving Wan to make decisions that will affect whether or not they have a future together.
This drama helps to raise the bar for K-BLs, and for BLs in general. With a total run time of approximately 2 hours, I literally doubled my watch-time by rewatching each episode at least once as it aired. It was well thought out, well written, well directed, well edited, and well acted. (Too much? Am I gushing?? LOL.) I highly recommend this series.

Best KBL to start 2023
I just love this BL. it is the best KBL of 2023 so far. the story is cute and the romance is perfect. The actors are gorgeous, their play are on point. even though it is a short drama the story is fluid. The flow is constant and there is no missing scene that would leave you with tones of questions at the end. The acting skills is so well done that it's sad that the drama has already ended.Since 'To my star 2' this is the only KBL that I enjoyed at a 100%. I hope to see these two actors in other KBL or any other type of drama because they are vey talented.
I highly recommend this KBL

TAE & WAN = LOVE
When I started watching this series I didn't expect that I would like it so much. Episode after episode it conquered me more and more becoming my favorite Korean drama. The series is fresh and sweet and looking every episode left a smile on my lips. The story is beautiful and full of meaning. Tae and Wan are the absolute sweetheart e I loved them from the first episode.
The lead actors are very good and together they have a crazy chemistry. They managed to convey to me all the various emotions their characters felt.
Only flaw? The during. I would have watched 100 more.
I will miss them very much.

The ghost in the corner of your room said watch it RN
This is actually embarrassing that I’m just now coming on this app to write a review. ANYWAYS, this drama is perfect. Name a better light hearted Korean BL than this one. Go on I’ll wait. YOU CANNOT. This drama is the best example of making good use of their run time and making every second count. None of the supporting character were cringy and no one fell behind in terms of acting wise. All of the acting on point. The production on point. The chemistry on point. You want to know why another reason why it’s so perfect? It was directed by a WOMAN. Trust me when I say I do not waste my time on badly written or directed dramas just because their BLs or GLs. And if I did I’ll let you know in the reviews. This drama is a straight up 10/10 and I’m going to need a season two or some more dramas with them in it again. Was this review helpful to you?

I won't run away any more!
I have to give it to Korean bl producers: the webseries they make are either excellent or unwatchable, there is no middle! When they are good, they are very very good, when they are bad, they are awful! Well this one is of the first kind.It is a friends to lovers story, filled with tropes and still so charming, sweet, fresh and a joy to watch. Main characters start off as clichés but reveal unexpected sides to their personalities. The cocky Eddie has a vulnerable, insecure side while the apparently cowardly Ian who keeps running away, has a decisive and strong side. The chemistry between them is spot on and the story keeps the usual misunderstanding provoking problems to a strict minimum solving them rapidly. Fortunately the drama is devoid of any "blast from the past" in form of an ex boyfriend (though here, they went for the usual virginal K-drama couple, first love and all that jazz!) I loved the short scenes at the end of episodes applying their dating sim to their own story.
The dating sim was totally incomprehensible for me (maybe it was just gibberish used as a backdrop, I don't know, I don't speak start-up tech language!) I do not like the start up setting as well: their coolitude, casual Friday dress code every day and having English nicknames...I find all that ridiculous but I do not know anyone working in such an environment so maybe that attitude is helpful in workplace. The music was unremarkable, the side characters colourful and present just enough but not too much . I guess with only 2h of drama, they did not have the time to expand upon them, and the drama is all the better for it: no unnecessary baggage!
All in all, this was two hours well spent on a sweet, slightly boring and angst free journey.

When is this game released?
I had such high expectations for this series, gonna be honest with you... it was even better than I expected. The main actors had an amazing chemistry, Lee Seung Gyu played his character so nicely that we could almost see hearts on his eyes when he looked at
Lee Jong Hyuk.
Eddy/ Shin Ki Tae is an amazing character, the greenest of the green flags <3
When I started watching this drama I sort of had a bittersweet feeling towards Ki Tae, but that feeling changed after 3 episodes, I started to look at this character on another point of view and soon fell in love with him. He feelings for Ian/ Lee Wan were so pure, the way he looked at him, his small actions that demonstrated how much he liked and cared about him were so beautiful and lovely.
At some point I started to pitty him, he was anxious all the time fearing Lee Wan could disappear, that really showed us (viewers) how much he suffered and missed Lee Wan when he disappeared for 7 years.
Ki Tae said he fell in love when Lee Wan confessed to him and runaway however I think he liked him way before that, he mentions that Lee Wan "misunderstood it" his actions on the day he confessed and kissed him, so that makes me think that he already had feelings for Ian and he just dodge from the kiss because he was caught by surprise.
Lee Wan is on of my favourite characters of all time, I know he was coward and kinda selfish when he left Ki Tae behind but I understand how he felt, they were best friends and he had liked him for so long, when he finally gain courage to confess, it all came from nowhere and he made some actions I think he didn't want to make (like the kiss), it all went up so fast and came down faster, because he wasn't brave enough to face Ki Tae after his reaction to the kiss.
He ranway and a lot of things happen in their lives during the 7 years they were apart but their feelings never changed and that is what marks this series, how after all the time that passed they were always true to their feelings towards each other.
I found a new confort series ahhahaah I'm also gonna leave here some musics I associate to them<3
Mini OST<3<3<3 (My opinion)
Series ost:
-"Lover of mine" by 5 seconds of summer
Main couple:
-"Nothing feels like you" by Little Mix
Eddy/ Shin Ki Tae:
-"Don't blame me" by Taylor Swift
Ian/ Lee Wan:
-"Still into you" by Paramore

A simplistic but sweet BL story
This is a short series about the journey of 2 school friends Shin Ki Tae and Lee Wan who meet after a period of 7 years and work together on creating a Dating simulation game while also discovering the feelings that they have for each other. If you feel that the story, I summarized is rather simple that is because it is. The series doesn’t waste much time and shows Lee Wan being interviewed for a job in the same company where his school crush Shin Ki Tae works. This brings back the feelings that Lee Wan tried to hide for so many years since he disappears from Shin Ki Tae’s life after confessing his love to him. While working together to develop the game, they spend a lot of time together and the unrequited love from the past blossoms in to a relationship.
The series is full of sweet and tender moments between the two characters, although at certain times it tries to portray the genuine fear Shin Ki Tae has about losing Lee Wan like he did some years ago. Looks like Lee Wan’s action of running away from Sin Ki Tae and losing all contact does cause serious trauma to him. The series flourishes thanks to the chemistry between the 2 actors and you feel that it is too short and you are left asking for more.
In conclusion, there is no ground-breaking storyline with strong messages. Instead, what you have is a sugar-coated love story between 2 long lost friends. Give this one a watch and you will find yourself smiling from start to end.

loved it.
First of all, I loved this drama. The only real thing I can say about this is that it was too short. it had 8 episodes of about 15 minutes. I just wish it was a bit longer. So I'm currently wishing for a second season.
the story was very good, though I wished they had gone into the pasts a bit more (they could've done this in the extra time I proposed earlier for instance). what I especially loved about this drama was the endings of the episodes. At the end of every episode there was this extra story from when they were still in high school. These were extremely cute and they really showed me how it could've gone if Lee Wan dared to express his feelings back then. (at least the last one).
The acting was super cute and well done. The chemistry between Lee Seung Gyu and Lee Jong Hyuk was really good and I'm exited to know whether or not they play together in another drama. The exchanges between them made the drama so cute in my eyes tbh.
The music was also well thought out and made some of the scenes shine even better than they would've if they had chosen different music.
The rewatch value is also pretty high since there's a chance I would watch this again. Which I don't do often. Only woth the ones I really like.
Overall this drama was very cute and I'd love to see another season.
