Dont lie in your relationship !!
This drama first half was good and then towards the end such a let down. The female lead lives in a placed called Tao hua Wu , a place that is hidden from the rest of the world. Tao hua Wu is secluded because there is said to be a fountain of youth there. A rule of Tao hua Wu, outsiders who intrude the land needs to be killed. Somehow the male lead intrudes into the land on the female lead's ceremony to become the protector of tao hua wu.
The female lead doesnt want to kill him and often many times save male lead from being attacked and killed. They eventually fall in love. He falls in love with her simplicity, innocence , kindness and bravery. However the male lead must go back to the place he lives because he is judge. He tries to find out how to leave this place and even draws the map of how the water flows, eventually the male lead's servant finds him. They find the key to leave Tao Hua Wu and its the night of their wedding.
So basically this relationship started off by the male lead not telling the truth about this identity. When the female lead asked if he wanted to leave he didnt tell the truth. When he finally gets out, the female lead goes out to find him. Afterwards, yet again choose not to tell his love one ( the female lead ) the truth about whats he doing, this gets the female lead mad and angry again.
Like if you like someone please communicate no matter how hard it is, dont hide from them please. This is what made this drama so bad...He hid everything from her and didnt explain, which caused miscommunications .
There is an evil character who was interested in the fountain of youth... then the male lead's mom trying to help the evil character... but the evil character was the one who killed male lead's father... so i dont really understand? lol at the end The son and mom both stab the evil guy to death...

All Together I Enjoy The Drama
I liked this drama. The leading characters were wonderful. The lead female characters was the kind of character I would like to watch in more drama. She started strong, A leader but was kind and protective. The romance was cute and easy but together both leading characters kept us wondering what was next. Shen Fei Yang character was also a character I admire. He kept protecting the lead female but was a sincere romantic for his co-lead character who was very silly and immature. The story had it's twist and turns but I did not like the bad guy who wore a cape and you did not get to see him until the middle episode. It seem to old fashion part of the story. All together the story was not bad.Was this review helpful to you?

Lies, Lies, and More Lies!
The story was interesting and was well told. The writers and director got it right. The actors were superb. You loved the characters, or you hated them - this is the proof of a great performance. The chemistry between the ML & FL was so sweet, and I even liked the chemistry of the second couple too. No loose ends as far as I could see, and everything wrapped up nicely in the end; their story was not rushed or short-changed.But...
For the first time since I started watching CDramas, I actually hoped the ML's character would get some comeuppance. I really got angry at all the lies he told - and kept on telling. He seemed not to have any conscience about lying, especially to someone he was supposed to love. I found similar fault with SFL's character, whom I found to be singularly annoying! Both characters seemed so dishonest and just flat out lied their way into the hearts of the FL's character and the SML's character. As much as the last couple of episodes tried to give them redemption, I just could not get past how much they both lied so much in the beginning! At one point I kept hoping one (or both) would succumb to a sword or fall off a cliff or something! Anyway, all's well that ends well, and the writers gave them both happy endings.
As it is with any MangoTV production, the English subtitling was terrible. Some of the translations made it impossible to figure out what was happening, what the history or backstory of some events were, and even some explanations that would have made the story make complete sense. Some things were left up to the viewer to try to figure out or decipher... or not know why but just accept that something had happened.
Rewatch? I doubt it with those subtitles - and I don't think I could manage watching the lies fall from those lovely lips another time.

A promising storyline ...
Prince Zuo Jing Lun strayed into the peach blossom village (Tao Hua Wu) due to an accident and was held captive. Tao Hua Wu is a place that is isolated from the outside world. Tao Hua Wu is said to contain the fountain of youth, and it begins an angsty romance with its leader, Liu Qing Qing.Zuo Jing Lun is frequently saved from attack and death by Liu Qing Qing, who doesn't want to kill him. They end up falling in love. She captivates him with her purity, bravery, generosity, and simplicity. Zuo Jing Lun, however, is required to return to his home because he is the Prince and Governor. After drawing a map of the water's flow and trying to figure out how to get out of this situation, Zuo Jing Lun's servant eventually finds him. It is the night before their wedding that they discover the key to leaving Tao Hua Wu. They fled in the midst of the wedding ceremony.
Liu Qing Qing and her comrade follow Zuo Jing Lun to take revenge and kill him.
The story of Fairyland Romance started with a lot of promise, with a new cast and a good storyline, but drifted away in the last six episodes. Overall, a refresher and a good watch.
