You will see what she saw

For those who only see "I barely finished watching it " messages. I DID NOT barely finished watching it.
I waited for the episode every week and finished it the same day (which in my great, LONG experience of ongoings is rare). I thoroughly enjoyed this drama. Yes, there were and even remained some incomprehensible moments that I would like to unravel, no doubt. But those who say that her actions are not logical.... literally ALL of this drama is about the fact that she is SICK. This is the logic of a SICK person, the behavior of a SICK person and the life of a SICK person. And you are here to see how difficult and contradictory it is, both internally and socially.
I definitely don't think this drama is not worth your time. She's WORTH IT.
Only if you were expecting *high-pitched voice* “fluffy buffy the suffering of a man who at the end will see a rainbow and run along it to the tune of trol-la-la,” oh my god, this is not for you. BUT
But, if you are ready to feel all the suffering of the main character and are ready to just walk this path with her, WITHOUT IMPOSING EXPECTATIONS on her.. At least you will know the other side

What?

I can’t believe that it took this long for it to end this way. All I can say is the ending was a huge disappointment. I don’t know what I was expecting but it sure wasn’t this ending. I was especially disappointed in the way the villains went out; especially Jun Yin and her accomplice.

I’m at a loss as to why it was revealed that Ah Rin wasn’t Seon Young’s daughter and not have Jae Won delve into why he wasn’t.

the lackluster plot ultimately overshadows the talents of the cast

Episode 1-2: The drama kicks off with a promising start—a good story that got me hooked. The characters and plot seem intriguing, making me excited to see where it goes.

Episode 3-5: The excitement continues as the story unfolds. I'm invested in the characters and their journeys. However, by the middle episodes, things start to feel a bit lost. The plot becomes confusing, and I find myself wondering where the story is heading.

Episode 6-10: I stick with it, hoping the initial charm will come back. Unfortunately, it doesn't. The narrative seems to be going nowhere, and I'm left feeling a bit disappointed. The actor and actress keep me hanging on, but the story's magic is fading.

Episode 11-14: The drama struggles to regain its momentum. The plot twists are becoming convoluted, and I'm starting to lose interest. I keep watching mainly for the talented actors, but the weak plot is taking a toll on my enjoyment.

Episode 15-16: The final episodes arrive, and I hope for a redeeming conclusion. Unfortunately, the ending leaves me with a jaw-dropping moment—not in a good way. The terrible plot writing comes to light, and I realize how much it can impact a drama. Somewhere along the story, the writers lost their magic, resulting in a disappointing finale that leaves me questioning the entire series. Despite the initial enjoyment, the lackluster plot ultimately overshadows the talents of the actors and actresses.

i’m obsessed

this show isn’t for everyone but it’s definitely for me!

holy fuckkk Jang Na Ra really deserves a Baeksang for her performance, i can’t imagine the toll her character had on her- everything felt so real.
I was glued from beginning to end. yes, some characters actions are going to frustrate you to oblivion but there always another character that will relieve that. also the mental health part of the show is beautifully written if you stay till the end, the beginning not so much- coming from an american. you really have to put yourself in a korean society mindset to keep your cool in the beginning ~
again, this isn’t for everyone but give it a try if you’re looking for a mature angsty revenge thriller!

A Dissection of the Downward Spiral in Writing

After completing the show, my perspective on it has shifted significantly. The ending left much to be desired; while the actors delivered commendable performances, the storyline plummeted so rapidly that I found myself bewildered by its direction. Both Jang Na Ra and So Yi Hyun made sincere attempts to portray their roles with depth, which somewhat enabled me to empathize with their respective emotions. Nonetheless, the show is riddled with numerous plot holes. The motivations behind Kwon Yoon Jin's actions toward Seo Jae Won remain unclear, lacking any substantial explanation. Moreover, the rationale behind Kwon Yoon Jin's decision to eliminate Heo Soon Young is perplexing. It seems his demise was merely a catalyst to bring Yoon Te Oh and Seo Jae Won closer together. Initially, Kwon Yoon Jin's character exhibited desires for both Ah Rin and Soon Young, suggesting a more nuanced storyline that unfortunately wasn't pursued. The inconsistent portrayal of Yoon Jin, vacillating between villainous determination and sudden panic, reflects a lack of direction in character development. Overall, the plot held great promise initially, but faltered midway, veering off course irreparably. It became increasingly challenging to salvage the narrative, ultimately leading to a disappointing conclusion. There's so much more I want to express, but the sheer number of loopholes is overwhelming, making it difficult to know where to begin.

This show isn't ideal for newcomers to K-dramas. However, if you're specifically interested in mental health themes and don't have other options, it might suffice. I don't find it particularly worthwhile. My fondness for Jang Na Ra was the main reason I stuck with it till the end.

why ...... just why

I'm not really sure what to say here.
I think the show started off great, I mean I was hooked but I'm not
sure what happened not even half way through this. I was really hoping this would be one that I'd want to rewatch but I almost didn't make it to the end of this. I was hoping it would find its footing again but it went further downhill. Sick or not they had the female lead doing things that was just plain stupid and made no sense what so ever.
The only thing good about this was the OST.

Twisty plot with full-blown crazy characters

This drama was chaotic and mysterious at first, but also intriguing. Many secrets to unfold, who is bad and who is not. None but one of the leads in this show are truly likable. I wasn't always felt connected with our female lead Jae Won, maybe because her mannerism and thinking process was hard to belief.

With each passing episode, there were satisfying moments, but the plot twists are annoying and becomes a hot mess towards the end. Just when you think it's time to warp up, the next scene is another drama and not everything of it makes sense. It was a quite enjoyable watch, though. Mainly due to Jae Won who is strong, bearing and still can attack despite being hurt a lot of times. Also, the villain, who is obsessive, borderline psychotic and selfish, carried the show's momentum and excitement. Great performances by cast all-around, especially So Yi Hyun, Jang Na Ra, Lee Ki Taek and Park Ho San. Despite not feeling head over heels over this drama, their acting kept me wanting to watch until the end.

Started out so great, then flopped HARD

Every single time I started a new episode, Avril Lavigne played in my head:

All this time you were pretending, so much for my happy ending

LOL

The first few episodes had me on an absolute chokehold. The twists were twisting, the turns were turning and around every bend I kept wondering whether everyone was gaslighting the living heck out of Jae Won or if she was an unreliable narrator having a low key mental breakdown. The suspense and unpredictability had me holding my breath and looking forward to each new episode.

Then, the husband died and the drama died with him. Everything went to sh*t. The show nosedived into a death spiral of boringness and inconsequentiality. It was like the writers literally ran out of steam and cool ideas, and everything became a snoozefest. The last four episodes sucked especially bad and were so subpar compared to where we'd started off.

Still, Jang Na Ra killed it, and since this was my first time seeing her in a main role, I'd like to see more of her work.

My take? Along these same lines, Marry My Husband or Perfect Marriage Revenge are more enjoyable. Or just watch the first half of this, and then search for spoilers not to waste your time watching the rest of it.

So bad I want to forget I watched it

Terrible writing. Stupid characters. Events happening that the writers don't remember themselves. Incredible plot armor. anti climactic, weak, terrible ending, stupid stupid characters, oh wait I said that already, well hear it again. need I go on?

Someone please give me bleach so I can erase this drama from my eyes and hit me with the honored white truck of death so I can get amnesia and forget I watched it.

The only reason this has any ratings is because the second ML is cute and all the acting was good despite the shit, SHIT writing.

Just a crazy drama to keep you in and off the hook

Firstly the drama started with a banger episode, it was intense and let me clarify, I hadn't seen the trailer before starting so, I was super excited when I saw Jang nara n Son hojun together again though that took a very quick turn.
The first 4 eps are really good but the drama somehow lost its direction after that but those who like crazy, unpredictable plots, might actually love it. After that from 10th episode, it was just total madness. I still get frustrated thinking how they were just hiding their feelings and hurting each other.
I get why FL was frantic but there was no reason for Soon Young to act crazy and do all that nonsense, even till the last moment, it didn't make sense for why he did that -_____-
Lastly, the ending 3 episodes were kinda slow compared to how crazy the plot went.

Don't believe the plot synopsis given, its deceiving, but if you have lots of patience and really are a fan of psycho, thriller, suspense with toxicity, then you should give it a try

What in the world was that ending?

I was one of the few people who supported the drama when people were losing their shit over the bullshit writing. I still had hope. I wanted to give the writer the chance to redeem. But god did he disappoint and how!

wtf was that ending? And just like that, bam! She died. It was all so pointless. I wasted my time. The story started off really well, but they completely lost the plot half way.

Second ML and FLs relationship was also given a bland end which I found to be extremely disappointing.

Please don’t waste your time watching this show.
