I loved it!
In Seoul and I watched 3 movies; the Land of Happiness, Escape, and this one. Albeit very different this was by far my favorite. The time just breezed by. The dancing scenes were great! The cheerleading team all had their unique personalities. A feel good movie you can watch over and over.I thought Park Se Wan really shined, she was a magnetic presence. Also, Hyeri actually showed up to the theater and thanked us for supporting the movie. It was surreal. The movie hasn't had the success, viewership-wise as hoped. You won't regret watching it!

That said, it was also best to let it be a drama instead because as a movie it was too linear
But it was exactly what I needed, no angst, no hate, no rivalry, no love triangle, no betrayals, no conflict
Just easy breezy love, love for friends, love for dance, love for family, and a love of youth
Even the teachers were cute

Lighthearted fun
The movie was enjoyable. No girlfriend/boyfriend drama. Just enough humor. Finally shows that school can be a place to develop and nurture friendships. My only negative observation is the teacher/student violence aspect. I'm sure it's cultural, but teachers allowed to randomly hit students still triggers me a bit. Overall, it's definitely worth watching. Was this review helpful to you?
Typical Sports Movie but Fun
It's fairly predictable to the end but if you like sports movies and movies about female friendship, you can't go wrong with this one. I liked that there was no love triangle or too much jealousy or backstabbing or any of those things. The issues that arise are fairly mild . And this might be my bias showing but Hyeri once again proves to be utterly charming.I will say that the period trappings didn't enchant me as much as say Twinkling Watermelon or Reply 1988 but it grew on me as the movie went on. Overall, it's fairly well done with strong acting and a tight script. I would recommend.
