Ultraman Neos (2000)

A pretty alright little sci-fi series with great effects for it's time, some decent performances, pretty solid music and some of the worst formatting I've ever seen. (Seriously, who's idea was it to have every episode open with a full recap of the last one and then immediately follow that up with the intro which has more exposition before we get to see any new content?) I've only seen three Ultra shows counting this one but I'd say this is the best one I've encountered so far, in that it's very short and has no episodes I outright disliked. Really though I wouldn't recommend this to people unless they're already Ultra series fans. Felt very good but not like it had any unique elements to offer.

ULTRAMAN NEOS - o guerreiro do Século 21

Provavelmente o mais "OK" que Ultraman conseguiu chegar até agora pra mim.
Dá claramente pra sentir que isso aqui foi feito direto pra DVD e é uma temporada bem inofensiva.
O maior crime que ela comete é em ser esquecível e principalmente o time de ataque ser bem whatever mesmo (nem os trajes deles se salvam, Deus o livre). A música também não é memorável, os únicos temas que grudaram na cabeça foi a insert song do Seven 21 e a abertura, que é muito boa.

E falando de positivos, os kaijus aqui são bem bacanas, e o próprio Ultraman Neos e o Ultraseven 21 são maneiros. E é o máximo que consigo elaborar sendo sincero. Os últimos 4 eps provavelmente são os que mais valem a pena de assistir, porque aqui não tem nada que as outras séries não fizeram bem melhor.
