too much toxic but not a boring serie

i found myself entertained, at least im able to watch and not feel like im about to sleep because of dragging scenes..
the 1 hour ep here pass like 20 mins, that says that im enjoying this, mostly because i dont see heavy filler scenes with this one. so i barely skipped anything..
while i understand why many people complain, yeah toxic unhealthy relationship, this serie is based on the novel, so if you are going to watch keep in mind there is obsession love, and physical abuse, sa etc
i liked the couples chemistry, the music, and the story is so toxic but still interesting to watch, maybe because we are discovering with Day about what happened in the past

No Love Lost

I was not expecting greatness from Love Syndrome III. I had watched Unforgotten Night which was pretty much trash, but I actually liked the characters of Day and Itt, so I was interested to see a drama with them at the center. I knew they were going to be different from the characters in Unforgotten Night since it was a different production company, but I was not expecting the characters to be essentially polar opposites with nothing in common. I was unprepared for the extreme toxicity that permeated almost every relationship in this drama and left me with a sour taste in my mouth. This is not a drama worth watching.

Again, I came into this because I liked Day and Itt in Unforgotten Night. They are absolutely unbearable here though. Itt is a man child throwing temper tantrums and stomping his feet, obsessing over cake like a two year old and Day is his mother indulging him one second and then scolding him the next. What the heck kind of relationship is this? They scream toxicity from almost the second they are together on screen. They are both extremely jealous and possessive. After two years together there should be a degree of security in the relationship and there is none.

Following Day's accident, Itt becomes more bearable as he takes on more responsibility and becomes less selfish, but it's Day's turn to become a raging asshole. We're treated to multiple episodes of him taking Itt for granted and using and abusing him basically seeing how far he can push him before Itt throws in the towel. His asshole level slowly goes down as he begins to regain pieces of his memory and then just to spice things up a bit more because this drama isn't ridiculous enough, we have a random villain from Day and Itt's past return. Of course everything turns out fine and we end things with a wedding. It's a ride to say the least.

The biggest issue with this drama is the toxicity. Essentially every relationship is toxic in one way or another.
-Itt and Day are toxic in pretty much every way possible. Their relationship is toxic at its very core. It began because Day wanted to get revenge on Itt for masterminding a plan to have his friend Gear rape his brother Night. I mean, it's essentially a case of Stockholm Syndrome. They are both possessive of each other to an unhealthy degree. If anyone even glances at the other, they get jealous to the point that they're ready to throw punches and they get angry at each other. Also, things like Day pretending not to remember Itt again to punish him is unimaginably cruel and not something I could ever imagine doing to someone I professed to love. They're communication is yelling at each other and fighting. There's no, let's sit down and have a reasonable conversation. It seems at the end like maybe they've progressed to that point, but certainly not at the beginning or while Day's lost his memory. The biggest concern is that there's this underlying sense that their relationship is something to aspire to, that having a boyfriend who is both fiercely loving and possessive is desirable, and tries to sweep the ugly parts under the rug out of sight.
-Gear and Night have a toxic beginning, but at the time of the drama actually seem to have a very healthy relationship. They are very much the exception. Very little is given regarding their background aside from the fact that Gear did rape Night and then somehow or other they did move forward from that to a relationship. I have mixed feelings regarding that. I don't think it's realistic and I think there are connotations with that that could be damaging, but within the context of this drama, there is also part of me that's glad that there is one relationship that isn't drowning in problems.
-Nik and Neil are the other couple that seem relatively healthy. On the one hand, you do have Nik who likes to flirt apparently to get Neil's attention, but I think Neil does mention that there's a reason for his behaviour and they do seem to overall be a happy and solid couple and I do adore how Nik sticks up for Itt against Day.
-Mac and Nan, okay, this one is the most disturbing to me. It is heavily implied that Nan has been holding Mac against his will for some time, not allowing him to go home, presumably keeping him as essentially a sexual prisoner and really no one bats an eye. Itt clearly doesn't like it and he does protest it, but he also doesn't really do anything about it. And it turns out that Nan has been blackmailing Mac with a fake video. He does eventually let him go home, but then Mac comes back to him? Like what? We have another Stockholm case? It was just so messed up I could barely comprehend it.

One thing that really bugged me was the inconsistency with Day's recovery of his memory and his behaviour. It felt all over the place. There were some scenes like the one at his cast removal party between he and Itt that felt far too intimate for where they were at the time with getting to know each other again. They just ran hot and cold and I felt like I was getting whiplash sometimes. Flashbacks were heavily used which were useful to some degree but quickly became repetitive when the same scenes were shown multiple times. Practically every guy they met was in love with Itt which was unrealistic and weird. I mean seriously, he had four or five guys falling for him. Please, he's cute, but he's not that good looking.

Throwing a villain in towards the end was pointless, particularly such a weak villain. There was absolutely nothing threatening about P. He was cartoonish with his maniacal laugh and the camera angles used. He was just boring. Literally the only purpose he served was to give Day the bonk on the head he needed to get his memories back. That whole plot line was so nonsensical, particularly their plan to get P to surrender. Did they actually think Itt was just going to sit back if he thought Day was in danger? Did they not consider that maybe if they explained their plan, that maybe he could help out? They literally only had themselves to blame for it all going south.

The acting wasn't as good as it could have been. I was disappointed in Frank. I've seen him in other dramas and thought he was a pretty decent actor but he seemed to struggle here, especially with the more emotional scenes. His crying was painful to watch, very forced and fake. I first saw Lee in Tin Tem Jai, another terrible drama, and I think he's a good actor who has yet to be given a role where he can really stretch his wings. He didn't have a whole lot to work with here, but he made do with it and I think he did a decent enough job. The chemistry between Lee and Frank was hit or miss, sometimes I could feel it, sometimes it felt contrived, but they have another upcoming project so hopefully with continuing to work with each other, that will all come together. I hadn't seen Kokliang since his turn as Tar in TharnType and I actually really enjoyed him as Nik. He was so sassy and fun and one of the few positives in this drama. I loved him standing up to Day for Itt. The others were decent in their roles but no real standouts.

This was just an all around toxic drama (I know I've said that word a lot, it's justified) that's not worth your time. There is really nothing redeemable about it, in my opinion. Evidently they're supposed to be dramatizing the other web novels as well. I sincerely hope they don't because it sounds like the story only gets worse. Unless you like garbage dramas, I would recommend watching something of a higher quality.

LongFrank deserves a second chance!

Is Day violent? Yes.
Is Itt childish? Yes.

But, don't let episode 1 fool you. There's more to it. It's not as violent, or as toxic as episode 1 make it out to be!

While I don't support the relationship as the premise is set based on codependency, I do love them as a couple.

Their chemistry and acting is spot on. They genuinely love each other and you can feel it throughout the series.

There are lots of sweet moment. especially the way Day is so gentle towards Itt.

As you watch the series, you'll realize it gets less and less toxic, unlike most BL that starts out healthy and become toxic.

Overall, I'd say, Long Frank deserves a second chance, perhaps in another series with better storyline!

I don’t know how I survived this

Poor, poor writing. Like, worse than TharnType when it came to trying to do anything shocking with a potential villain character. I didn’t think anything could be worse than TharnType. And the sound design! What in the name of Christ were they drinking when they put that together?! It felt like an American soap opera from the 70s with the bad attempts at dramatic background music. The editing was pretty bad, too.

The whole story in general was confusing as hell (and the terrible subs didn’t help). So, both mains were actually just terrible people who somehow changed but didn’t change each other? And everyone around them basically bows to their every wish and agrees with them? Like, I get the whole “I need to help my boyfriend remember” but, Itt, mate, the relationship wasn’t good at any point from the looks of things? Also, the whole flashback thing can work in some shows, but because of how bad the editing (and hair styling) was, it really just got a bit annoying and confusing.

Also, wayyyyy too many characters were comfortable with sexual assault in this; Nan literally kept Mac as a sex slave against his will and no one but Itt seemed upset by it. (Yes? I know Mac tried to assault Itt but I feel like there are better ways to punish someone.) Then to pull the whole ‘but they’re actually in love’ thing? Sorry, I hated it in KinnPorsche and I hate it now.
Also, whilst I don’t think the series shows too much, Day very obviously assaulted Itt when they first met - that’s physical and sexual assault, plus kidnapping to an extent.

Other than Night, Nick and Neil, I feel like every character in this show is just a horrible person.

I normally love Frank, but for the love of all that is sacred, if I have to hear about cake once more, or hear the whiny way he says ‘Day’…it’s like this show took a bunch of pretty good actors and said, “let’s make the worst thing ever!” To top it off, Nick is reading a Fifty Shades book, which is the epitome of bad, non-consensual BDSM. It’s like the series writers did no research.

In all honesty, I don’t know why I kept up with this and didn’t just quit. I felt like I owed it to Frank and Long to watch it, I guess? I mean, there were some funny bits, but I honestly think this may be one of the worst Thai dramas I have ever seen. It really tried to be TharnType, KinnPorsche and Love in the Air and failed at it all. With each scene I could feel my soul draining away. Shout out to my brother for dealing with me constantly sending him voice notes of laughter at how terrible this was.

I watched this drama, so you DON'T have to.

Stop! Don’t watch this drama! Unless you are forced to, or are watching this because of a watch challenge like me, please do not waste your time. I usually have a pretty high tolerance for bad dramas, but this one takes the cake (pun intended…LOL). I even find joy in watching “Playboyy” but unfortunately, “Love Syndrome III: Uncut Version” only brings me pain. It’s not even fun to hate-watch. I usually watch my dramas at normal speed, but I have to resort to 1.25x and then 1.5x because I couldn’t wait for it to end..

Let’s start with a few things that I consider as positives:

1. No Product Placement! It’s so rare these days to find a Thai drama when it’s not trying to sell me snacks, drinks or beauty products. Aside from turning me off from eating cakes, no product placement is good. But then, I wonder, if they are able to get sponsors, will the quality be better?
2. The last scene when everyone is all dressed up for the ceremony.
3. Mmm… there are some abs shown here and there.
4. The action/fight scenes look good at 1.5x speed. LOL.

Where do I start with things I don’t like?

1. BAD acting. It’s so bad that I thought both leads were newbies, but then realized they both have several dramas under their belts already. Really bad! Watch it for 5 minutes and immediately you want to drop this drama.
2. Ugly wig. Why do they give Itt that ugly wig? Is it because they need to follow the hairstyle of the web novel?
3. Poor Editing and writing. Enough said.
4. Flashbacks galore. So many back-and-forth flashbacks throughout the whole drama. I understand you are trying to tell the audience what happened in the last 3 years, but they could do a better job. Towards the last few episodes, there are so many flashbacks that I got annoyed, and these are not flashbacks to tell a story either.
5. Toxic Relationships. So many messed up relationships in this drama. The leads are very unlikeable to begin with. They got a little better in the last 2-3 episodes.
6. Meaningless conversations. The drama is dragged down by people standing around for meaningless and unsensible conversations and dialogues. I don’t want to hear about cakes anymore.
7. The leads fight all the time - the WHOLE drama from start to end.
8. The last subplot introduced is unnecessary and out-of-place. I don’t need a psycho to pop in to stir up trouble when I just want the drama to end.
9. Plot, or lack of a plot. The leads could have shared their limelight with the other couples, esp. Nan and Mac. At least this toxic couple seems more interesting. I still don’t know why Day + Itt and Night + Gear got over their initial rough start to be together. I thought if I waited long enough, I'd see a flashback about it.

I am sure some viewers enjoy this drama. I am just not one of them. But if you are curious about how bad this is, “Love Syndrome 3” is the perfect watch-party drama with your friends. I did that for 4 episodes and it was very fun and hilarious. Thanks Cave Clowns for keeping me company!

More love needed....

I don't get it! I really, really do not get it! Why is this drama getting so much hate?

It has everything: hot abs, enemies to lovers, sponge baths, great friends, toxic story, regular pacing, mystery....and it is highly bingeable! It also has a lot of bad acting and some horrible main characters.

And still, I have enjoyed watching this immensely: binged it in two days.

The drama tells us the story of a couple who have been together for over two years. One is a former member of a local criminal outlet and the other is a spoilt son of a car shop chain owner. There is a mystery surrounding how they met and a bigger one as to why are they still together because they seem so incompatible: one is serious and hard working while the other one behaves like a spoilt 5 year old throwing tantrums if his cake is delivered too late. Strange enough, apart from parents, nobody finds his behaviour odd. They have a close set of friends who apparently know their story. One day the serious guy gets into an accident and ends up with amnesia: forgetting last three years and therefore not recognizing his boyfriend as well. They continue living together and slowly he and us, both, we discover the hows and the whys of their relationship.

I have to admit I started watching the cut version of this drama and dropped it halfway through: bad acting, bad filming, bad storytelling and awful subs. Then I discovered that there was the uncut version. A completely different story played out in front of my eyes: the first episode was completely re-cut and re-edited, the pacing was much smoother and more logical, the acting was still bad (someone should stop Frank from acting, please! Or if you have to have him, triple the number of acting lessons!) but the subs were much better and the story was gripping! It continued like that till the end: the secrets were revealed steadily throughout the series, nothing was rushed and we were given explanations needed (though I admit somehow rather illogical but I decided not to care about it!).

There were two side couples, apparently in long-term relationships but they are actually just parts of background for the main story: we find out just tiny bits of information about them since they are here only to act as supportive friends for the main couple. Maybe their stories were covered in depth in two first books.

There is an additional plot involving the spoilt brat's cousin who hates his boyfriend and repeatedly tries to kill him. It is a bit unclear and illogical why the cousin,( who by the way looks completely insane with those eyes just waiting to pop out!) is so jealous of him

The actors were quite cute, did not shy from skinship which looked so natural. The music was good and the production looked like they had a serious budget!

Love Syndrome III is definitely in need of more love from the audience: it is so much better than what we are led to believe here. It is a kind of fun, toxic and sexy guilty pleasure BL. No brain needed, everything is rather straightforward and in spite of illogical reasons, the plot moves on at right speed, right enough to keep us guessing and wanting to watch more.

Meh.....

So I lived Day & Itt from Unforgettable Night in both the book and the show but this wasn't that great. Itt came off as a spoiled brat & Day kind of sadistic. I'm going to read the novels and see if that's how it was written but anyway.... The story was muddled and was way more invested in the side couples then Day & Itt. I'd love to either one of their stories but they have their own novels so I'll console myself with those. Wanted to really love this show but I'm having a hard time finding a really good show lately.

I can't help it that I love dark stories

Seriously, if you don't like dark stories, toxic stories, then just don't watch this. I personally loved this. I loved how messed up their back story was, how it was overcome and how this entire part of their life went. I do think they need to catch a break though, poor guys. A show like this is relatable and tough but for the dark souls out there, it is perfection.

I reeeeeally need the origin story in a show form.

I really cared for the characters and every couples story. I enjoyed the suspense of not knowing when and what will be remembered next, if at all. I found myself rewinding many scenes to rewatch.

You HAVE to watch the uncut version to really get everything. The cut version is sugar coated compared to the uncut. I started with 7 cut episodes and realized I hadn't been watching cut so I went back and watched all the scenes I missed.

Also, it may be toxic but two dudes did the wrong thing and ended up in love anyways, so don't be mad that a villain ended up with a villain.

Love Syndrome is more demented than amnesiac

When not one, not two, but THREE couples are a result of sexually assaulted victims falling for their assaulter, you know you’re in for a toxic mess.

Despite this series’ low rating, I gave it a go as I’ve seen Lee Long Shi in “Even Sun” and Frank paired with Drake in “Between Us”. Can't say I'm a big fan of both butttt I did enjoy them to some extent in said series. What’s interesting was seeing Lee Long ‘top’ here when he was the ‘bottom’ in Even Sun. I have to say his ability to do both makes him one of the more unique BL actors, not to say that not being able to fulfill both isn’t unique, but it doesn’t limit his acting or typecast him. (Also, I want to see a series where Fort Thitipong and Lee Long Shi are brothers because wow, they give me similar vibes.)

Before diving into the series, we need to understand that there’s a ‘Bad’ Day and a ‘Good’ Day (I honestly love that the character’s name is “Day” and they stretch the 'bad day' and 'good day' in him).
‘Bad’ Day is ruthless, jealous, and combative. He was born the day his parents were killed in a car accident that left him and his beloved younger brother, Night, orphans. Bad Day is a former mafia member who dropped everything bad about him two years ago. Good Day is the result of Day getting away from Bad Day and closer to Itt. He is mild-tempered, soft-hearted, responsible, and a bit of a pushover. Despite being the ‘Good’, he still possesses a dark side which is his openness and willingness to groom his boyfriend into becoming solely dependent on him.

This brings us to Itt, ‘Good’ Day’s boyfriend of two years. Right from the jump Itt is painted as a spoiled man-child who has an irritable cake obsession. Cake was his drug, he had to have it right then and there otherwise everyone suffer from his tantrums and inability to function, particularly Day. Despite Itt’s childishness and immaturity, he’s adored and babied by his peers, friends, and parents. Although Day has admitted to bending Itt into the role of a codependent boyfriend, it’s been revealed that Itt’s parents sheltered and spoiled him relentlessly growing up; never pushing him to do more nor asking him to help more with the family business. Cooking was also out of the question as he once burned down their kitchen. Therefore, when Itt, a grown man, lacks the basic survival skills it’s impossible to blame him or any party entirely. Itt’s codependency also allows him to accept abuse on an unhealthy level and I don’t care how many times a character says Itt is selfless, he’s the most selfish character.

Since Day suffers from memory loss and has returned to a character viewers aren’t familiar with, his growth, or lack thereof, is fairly acceptable. However, Itt has never truly grown. Itt doesn’t take responsibility for much of anything and this is because his friends and parents are always on his side. He shouts and raises his voice at Day every other four to five lines. Everyone but Day gives him more credit than he deserves and victimizes him on an unconditional level. The only time they called his childishness out was when he demanded cake and asked Peace to sleep beside him. I wish Itt’s cooking skills were developed and shown over the series and not him waiting until the final episode to show interest in learning because at this point we’re supposed to believe he’s been responsible for Day’s meals for months. I mean, did Night end up cooking all of them, or did Itt order delivery? Because we never saw Itt grocery shopping either and he clearly hasn’t shown any improvements when they went shopping with Bell.

The supporting and side characters were fine for the most part but they were too nosy and the amount of gossiping they did was excessive. There were a lot of times when I wondered why Gear and Night felt the need to control the direction of Day and Itt’s relationship. As a brother and friend, it’s acceptable to help but manipulating (i.e. Ball) is a different story. It gave the mains outs and excuses not to talk. It also skewed some situations i.e. when Day punched a wall because he couldn’t remember, friends miscommunicated that to Itt as Day punishing himself for punching Itt when in reality Day never felt bad for punching Itt on the racetrack because let’s be honest, was dumb and irresponsible on Itt’s part. The common person knows better than to jump in front of an oncoming race car at high speed. The part that further pissed me off about it was that Itt specifically asked Nan to be in the car with Day and still decided to put all of their lives in jeopardy. Had Nan not noticed and Day not braked, Itt would be 4-6 feet underground. Or had Day swerved, he would have crashed or flipped the car with him and Nan in it and they, too, could have been one with the ground. I’m so upset that when Day brought this up, Itt took ZERO accountability for it and never understood why he was in the wrong. Gear and Night also never asked why Itt did that, they just assumed that Day was in the wrong--he was, in the way that he overreacted and resorted to violence but I have to say Itt asked for it when he put all three of their lives at risk.
I also despise how selective the support characters are when it comes to over and under-sharing. When Day woke up with his memories of Itt wiped clean, he never got answers because everyone would just say ‘Curious? Figure it out yourself”. But then they would blame and get mad at him for not remembering. Day just couldn’t win as he was surrounded by Itt’s supporters.
Sometimes I questioned if Night was Day or Itt’s brother.
Speaking of Gear, I don’t understand his hostility towards Day in Night and Day’s house, especially when he once abused Night and knew Day hated him for that. Gear is a guest but he oversteps like he owns ¼ of the house.
I’m a huge fan of Nick. I love his humor and wit and wish there was more of him. He’s Itt’s best shield. I thought he and Neil were a compatible couple. Neil isn’t overly jealous of Nick’s flirtatiousness and understands that it stems from a cry for attention as the son of a mistress.
Nan and Mac…hmmm…at this point, I can’t gauge if they’re the second or most toxic couple but I’ve seen them being compared to Vegas and Pete from KinnPorsche and well…if you know then you know. Nan is Day’s henchman who instantly strikes us as someone who always has the upper hand and is quick on his feet. Despite his small screen time, he’s not a man to be trifled with. Although he doesn’t use his fists as often as Day, he’s proven to be just as good a fighter but with big brains. Aside from running a racetrack with Day, Nan’s toxic trait is to punish Itt’s molester, Mac. Mac is someone who went to high school with Itt and stole Itt's girlfriend, Meen, in the name of actually having a crush on Itt. As adults, Mac throws an out-of-the-blue confession at Itt while forcing himself onto Itt. Witnessing this, Day beats and shoves Mac into Nan’s arms and insists that Nan does whatever pleases him. And so Nan did, on top of threatening Mac with a non-existent video. Like DayItt and GearNight, Nan and Mac’s abusive relationship alas blossomed into ‘love’.

Guest roles and their purposes:
Meen - utilized to show us that Itt is bi aka gives Day more to be jealous of.
Kim - creepy guy #1 to prepare us for creepy guy #2, P.
Kamol - the mafia boss who never felt like a mafia boss. His motto is ‘killing creates an endless cycle of revenge so manipulate people to off themselves instead’

Other notes…:
- The mafia arc was done so poorly, it was over within 1-2 episodes
- The acting is passable, not great but not bad. In some scenes, one actor would overact as the other underacts. Frank’s acting can be dry at times, especially the non-red eyes and tearless crying.
- The script is…fair at best. I wish there were more industrial terms but meh
- Continuity error is a big one (the biggest offense is when Itt took the car to the waterfall but they kept cutting back to the house showing the car parked in front (establishing shot, I get it but c'mon now!). The first mistake I can laugh at but the second or third just tells you no one in editing was paying attention. And no one can convince me that was Gear’s car because it simply wasn’t.)
- The editing: they overused fade to black one TOO many times. The rectangle/zoom out in the middle was also used TWICE; it screams basic editing skills.
- Some camera angles need to go
- The comedy was satisfactory but lackluster editing killed it. And I’m not saying they should have added those overused sound effects but a change of song would have suffice. There were a lot of times when Nick delivered iconic, and I mean ICONIC, lines but background sounds never backed him up. It’s bizarre to laugh at a joke with soft, romantic music playing, just sayin’.
- Again, the misuse of music and sound throughout the show; they don’t match what’s happening on screen. (i.e. Itt passing out in the car due to Day’s speeding for one.)
- Opening song was chef's kiss though!
- Seeing that Lee Long Shi is a former Muay Thai trainer, I expected good action, and he and the series delivered! Although the pool table scene didn't quite work as Day was trying to pocket the 8-ball from two different angles but hey, at least we got comedy and romance out of it.
- Itt always has something of the five going on: he’s angry because cake, he’s happy because cake, he’s crying, he’s sick, or he has a bruise(s)/cut(s) on his face. (It’s ridiculous that they turned his running away into a camping trip for one but secondly, of the eight people present he’s always the one getting hurt. Like getting his jaw body-slammed and a leg cramp--there’s always something wrong with Itt.)
- Every. Single. Time. Day remembers something, Itt’s go-to reaction/response is ‘You remember?’. Istg, doesn't he have anything else to say? Seriously like no…he was just telling you what he remembers… The only time we didn’t get to hear it was when he had his panic attack.
- Day’s cast-off party was creepy, cringe, and a hot mess. I'm aware that its purpose was to reveal how sick all of the characters are and make Itt question whether he's Day's equal partner or property but I'm sure there are better ways to go about it. (Also, love that Itt was aware of that, however, he never got a direct answer because TOXIC RELATIONSHIP. Then again he said Day was his as much as he was Day's so...match made in heaven I guess...)
- Why is everybody gay?
- Why is everyone so taken with Itt other than his good looks?
- Why are all the villains men who are or were interested in Itt? Mac, whatever-his-face-long-hair-guy-who-pissed-everyone-off, and P.
- Why were characters introduced but nothing came out of them? Why wasn't Salmon a recurring character (he was one of the few healthy relationships Day had with literally anyone. And hello English-speaking Lee Long Shi!)?
- Why were issues created but never resolved or brought up again? What happened to the four teens that broke into the barbershop? Did Day ever replace Bell's stolen items as they never attempted to recover them? Why weren't the police involved in any given issue (SA, kidnapping, physical violence, attempted murder, stalking, you name it)? And why was Itt afraid of taxis, I don't think that was ever explained.

All said, this series isn't for everyone but I for one enjoyed it despite all the eye-rolling and frustration I went through. After episode 8, everything was redundant and even more unhinged but somehow it kept me glued to the screen. I wouldn’t recommend this series to the light-hearted but to the sickos such as myself, it's one of the must-watches!

I guess I'm the odd one out - I loved this Series

This series got very low ratings... and I get it!

This series has a LOT of toxicity - especially the uncut version. If that is not something you can deal with, please don't even try to watch this, you may end up very upset.

While I didn't care for a few of the abusive scenes, they made their point vividly. While I would never want to see anyone behave this way for real, I could accept it for this drama. I think the storyline was well put together, although the end was a bit too "cinderella" for me.

What I didn't really care for were some of the many flashbacks. Some were necessary, some could have been cut.

What I liked - all of the characters - and I felt they were well matched. Honestly, I felt some of the reviews were really harsh. Not everyone likes the same shows (I don't like the silly bl's or the fluffy ones). I prefer the ones with more serious undertones. I feel like there have been a lot of over the top silly bl's this year, with little to no rewatch value. I am sure I will rewatch this one in the future.

One thing I wish they had done was instead of some of the unnecessary flashbacks was to put a storyline of how Day and Itt became lovers.

I like the OST, it's been used before, but it emphasizes the feelings of love.
