yuribait! do not be fooled by the girls hugging on the floor, holding hands and protecting eachother
Most people were brought to believe that this drama was a GL, and I thought so too due to the first few episodes. HOWEVER, it's all a LIE. I knew it was too good to be true that China would release a GL drama. At first it leads you to believe that it's a story about two girls friendship and them getting closer, and they do, but instead of what the first few episodes make you envision, they add heterosexuality. I stayed and continued watching in hope their relationship would further develop, but it didn't.The plot of the show itself is actually decent and compelling to watch. There are a few unnecessary parts where they just randomly add cast members, but it's always to push the heterosexual relationships in the show, which is pretty unpleasant to watch if you came in expecting it to be GL.
The acting is okay. Nothing great; most of the characters are likeable. Sun Rui does a pretty good job as Cai Xiaoai. Dai Meng's acting is really stiff, but I think her character is just supposed to be like that, so it's really not a problem.
The two male support roles are useful to the plot, but I always found Lu Haoyu extremely annoying. Like, yes, he's helpful, but he needs to back off. The other guy is okay.
In general, though, if you're just looking for a cute, lighthearted (kinda) drama to watch, this would be a good choice. It's generally silly and fun. But if you guys are looking for an actual GL drama, don't waste your time and go watch Couple of Mirrors or a Thai GL.
Okay just finsihed watching and like i dont ge tthe point of watching a kinda poorly acted, low production cost not good plot with ugly men actors (except for zhou zhao yuan he is cute) when theres so many good quality interesting dramas out there. i do understand if youre a fan of sunrui and/or daimeng and are content starved so i yes i do understand in that case enjoy
