From Conflict to Connection: A Romance with Depth
The story was fresh and captivating, standing out from others I've seen. It features a classic enemies-to-lovers trope intertwined with an office romance that brought butterflies to my stomach. The narrative also delves into various aspects of life, adding layers to the plot. While I enjoyed every episode, there were moments that felt a bit bland. Despite this, the side characters shone brightly, contributing significantly to the overall charm of the show. While the main plot had its charming moments, there were times when it felt predictable. The chemistry between the leads was palpable, yet the pacing sometimes dragged, making it hard to stay fully engaged. However, the strong performances of the side characters added depth and humor, often stealing the scene and providing a much-needed balance to the storyline.
One thing I particularly appreciated was the way the show tackled real-life issues. It wasn’t just about romance, but also about personal growth, career challenges, and navigating complicated relationships. These elements gave the show a sense of authenticity, making the characters more relatable and their journeys more compelling.
Overall, it was an enjoyable watch with memorable moments and a solid cast. Even though some parts felt a bit slow, the charm of the characters and the underlying themes of the story made it worth sticking through to the end.

Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale!? has been -obviously- a lot of fun, despite that I don't think this is all that unique or anything, though admittedly the whole wanting to be a Cinderella openly and aboveboard concept is pretty cool. I think the biggest contributor to success is the short format. A regular kdrama mini series is 16 hours long, as we all know the kiss happens at 8 & then after some fluff complications lead to a breakup & a 2 year separation happening in episodes 13 to 15 followed by a usually rather poorly written happy ending that can be either 1 or 100 minutes long. Opposed to what I just outlined this show is about 7 hours long (40 minutes x 10eps) & almost all of that things that normal kdramas have are there (love square, breakup, gangsters, almost marrying someone else etc etc), however the quick pace makes all these very palatable & since the comedy and main romance are both very strong, I don't have it in me to give a score any less than 8.5. The ending is rather satisfying too and not that short considering the format..Pyo Ye Jin always had been amazing, but it fills me with joy to see her shine so much in a main role, while also having wonderful chemistry with her rather amazing partner. ^ I really wish for this to be a financial success, selfishly just so I could see her in more high profile romcoms :-P

"Make your delulu become trululu"
This drama is literally the definition of your delusions and wishes becoming true. You start this drama with the typical poor, funny and delusional female lead and the snobby, narcissitic and traumatized male lead. Despite this drama being extremely cliché, they changed it in a way that it makes the drama enjoyable, funny and with a lot of depth and story behind it. Every character is unique in their own way with their own personalities, what makes this series so captivating. I'm so surprised how they were able to fit so MUCH in only 10 episodes.
WARNING!!:
If you are a very serious person that doesn't take things lightheartedly, this drama is NOT for you! This whole k-drama is unserious, extremely satire and goofy as hell. The sad and angsty moments don't last for too long and they use a lot of cartoonish effects and sounds to make the series more entertaining. The male lead eventually has then loser tedencies and becomes obsessed with the female lead and tries to win her over. Many moments in this drama are so CRINGE, that you genuinely just want to turn off the screen, get up and scream. ?
However despite all ofthis, this drama is AMAZING and definitely recommend it if you love rom com!
My final rating is 8/10.

IF YOU LIKE FUNNY CLICHES THIS IS FOR YOU!!
I love love love clichés when they’re done right and not cringey. This drama had me smiling like a fool especially because the ML was very shy. I’m a sucker for shy male leads. The FL did an amazing job she’s extremely funny. The story flowed nicely and the amount of episodes were PERFECT!!! If you want a short, sweet, fluffy, funny, rom com with an ounce of drama. This is the show for you!!Was this review helpful to you?
A modern Cinderella story
I watched it because I loved Lee Jun Young. I was excited to watched it but I wasn't expecting that it will turned out this way, it doesn't meet my expectation. It's a typical fairytale story with a twists, actually its not that bad I was just expecting too much. Its a common Cinderella story that a poor lady that fall in love wit a prince charming. I love the love-hate relationship at first and later on they didn't expect that they will developed feelings for each other. The FL has a two sisters that not too evil at all and the stepmom loves her dearly specially when her dad dies they never neglect her inspite they carec& very appreciative on her. There is a love triangle between them the guy is engaged with the woman he doesn't love they are just engaged to grow more in their business. The fake fiance is really trying hard to do evil stuff so that they will fall apart from each other. But their feelings foreach other is stronger and grows pounder that no one can break them. Until one day the family of his fake fiance tries to scare him for hurting their beloved daughter, they even closed his business and he has left with nothing. But the FL and ML fight for their love & they remain inseparable. And together they strive hard to make it work to be successful someday. And they were successful in their chosen path and they lived happily ever after.

A LAUGH OUT LOUD K-ROMCOM AFTER AGES
I've been a but of kdrama slump when it comes to romcoms, so when i ramdomly came across this title, i went in with no expectations. And boy was I surprised. This was a fun romp that consciously takes every cliche from kdramas and fairytales and puts it on steriods. It doesn’t take itself seriously at all, that makes for such fun viewing. I belly laughed at some of the scenes. The narration, the animation, the lead characters, the supporting characters, even the villian, were so camp that it was a delight to watch. This may not have that many swoonworthy moments between the leads but the leads genuinely look like they enjoy each others company and respect one another. It also doesn't descend into a typical marysue trope. It really deserves a higher rating. Was this review helpful to you?
Divertido!
Was this review helpful to you?
Fl is a big foot actor with crazy behavior, like she was literally eating and sticking out her tongue while her eyes were boggling like ....
And the fat shaming is returned, her step sis is chubby, and they put pig noises when she’s eating but then fl goes to eat and it’s fine, tho they also have her “omg my face is bloated” like why is the face getting fat for eating tho I do know like salty food makes a bit of puffiness but she also tells her “sleep on the floor your body is like a sleeping bag
Like the step sis is weird but it’s hardly cuz she’s fat and they have her act like a baby throwing tantrums

FOLLOW THE STEREOTYPES
