In ancient times, Jiang Qian Yu received a letter written in blood by her sister, telling her that she had been framed by the evil concubine Sheng and banished to the Cold Palace. She fears that she won’t survive there for long. Jiang Qian Yu's stepmother forces her to show her the letter and panics when she sees the message since her own daughter, Qian Yu's stepsister, is about to enter the Palace. In order for her to avoid the cruel life in the Royal Harem, her stepmother forces Jiang Qian Yu to enter the Palace under her stepsister’s name. Although she originally wanted to become a female general, she chose to switch out the battlefield with the Harem in order to investigate her sister’s case and try to save her. As soon as Jiang Qian Yu enters the Palace, concubine Sheng suspects her identity, so the two of them enter a game of cat and mouse while Emperor Feng Qi knowingly watches from the shadows, having his own reasons not to expose Jiang Qian Yu. But this evil concubine isn’t easy to deal with. Luckily, Jiang Qian Yu receives a lot of help from General Lin Gu Huai, who is in charge of guarding the Palace - and just happens to be the one she was supposed to marry in the first place. Soon, Jiang Qianyu is caught up in Palace politics, harem fights and trying to stay on the good side of this cruel and manipulative Emperor. (Source: PeeWee69 at MyDramaList) Edit Translation

Great “Harem fight”-production with great twist
This is a great “Harem fight”-production with really good actors and an interesting storyline that contains a great twist in the end.I loved this strong/adamant/fierce FL but I can’t say I even remotely liked the weak/manipulative/cruel ML.
Normally I shun away from Harem fights, but this one I liked - both the production and the ending. Definitely well worth the watch.
