Mediocre Beginning That Actually Only Gets Better
The beginning of this show feels a little odd at first. The pacing is odd, the editing is odd, the weird comedic aphrodisiac play is odd, and more. But then something interesting happens... Where for a lot of shows this sets the mood and you drop or suffer, this one actually DOES get better with each episode. Now this isn't to say there are no plotholes or logic gaps. There are logic gaps large enough to drive a truck through... But all the over the top craziness does start to grow on you, the main leads relationship starts to settle and strengthen, and before you know it you're over halfway through without blinking.
As long as you can check your logic at the door this should be a good ride. Also, this might be the first show where I'm honestly confused if they ACTUALLY kissed at all.

Just okay
Yue, the FL takes place of princess sheng to marry and strengthen diplomatic ties between two countries. The twist itself was enough to raise some curiosity. Though the plot wasnt blockbuster but it wasn't boring either , momentum of events will keep you engaged and always second guessing what going to happen next ... There is a little of detective touch (not too much), romance, melodrama ( a lot) and the overall performance of the lead actor made this show worth my time. The only thing I hate was even the side chic and spoilt brat was shown too invisible in the plot. They literally took more footage than the real villian.
Rest everything was good .. chemistry between leads was not sparky but wasn't flat either
.they looked more like caring friends than passionate couple which is fine,as being a couple doesn't always have to mean steamy smooches right ... ???
Recommended .. you can give it a try.
