The Best Short Movie
I really love the story. Its about young man and woman who experienced his and her parents suicides and then they had trauma. I like the story when they tried to overcome their trauma. Its sweet and funny. How the FL tried to make the ML forgot about his trauma really smart and cute.They also had shown very good chemistry. Besides the story I also like how handsome the actor and beautiful actress. I finished all the stories just in one day. And I think I will rewatch it again. The ending is so satisfying and lovely.

An Engaging No Brainer!
It was sheer destiny that I happened to stumble across this drama and let's be honest you don't deep dive into less runtime dramas with some out of the world expectations. I happen to just enjoy the fact this was an engaging watch.This drama promises you the complete feel of any 32 ep*40 min drama in just a 22ep*10 min runtime what more do you need just grab a coffee and enjoy the treat while it lasts!

Story Line - the story line promises a mess in a sorted order things don't really take time to get complex and then unfold it just is a mix of many plotlines handled simply. For the two leads it's about overcoming their trauma and trying to prove the things they have believed in.
for the FL maybe it's also about getting kidnaped and for the ML about fainting ...lol iykyk !!!
Acting- it's all in the cute fluffy romantic moments and the leads do put their best in what's offered to them !
I'd like to see more of them ...hopefully some other show !
music and rewatch I don't generally rewatch but maybe this one I may cuz the run time is literally so small.
for music I did not pay much attention to it ...but it wasn't annoying or catchy I appreciate this kinda music !
TO MENTION THE PROPOSALS WERE SO CUTE !!!

Watchable for a short cdrama
This is only the second short Cdrama I watched. This format has flaws and there are flaws in this. Some very bad acting. Some very convoluted plot. Overused drama tropes... Outraging scenes... This has all this. But it was watchable for me. Because of a cute main couple, good chemistry between them, not so idiot main leads, laughable bad guys, funny final twist and also some loose ends that did not need to be closed. Overal it was watchable especially if you have a few hours to kill like you are in the train or you are in the hospital waiting for a surgery.Was this review helpful to you?
Watchable, but there are better short-length modern mini dramas
One of the nice things about mini dramas is they're short enough that you don't have to feel too bad for wanting to finish them even when they're a little cringy.My Lovely Wife is a fluffy and campy "dog's blood" drama, which can be it's own guilty pleasure, but here, suffers from mediocre to poor acting, and some cheesy dialogue (the translation is better, lol). There is little chemistry between the leads and unfortunately the ML does not have the presence to carry off leading man status.
One of its biggest flaw, however, is the way the drama minimizes attempted sexual assault against the FL. She is attacked multiple times by a side villain and once by the ML (who was unknowingly under the influence of a drug). At a minimum, the ML should have apologized and asked if she was okay once he was himself again, but it is never addressed or shown (even a mini drama can spare two minutes for this). Even if the FL is understanding of the circumstances, it does not lessen what must be a very traumatic experience. This is by no means unique to My Lovely Wife -- C-dramas do this far too often. I can even pretend the FL somehow bounces back immediately after being kidnapped multiple times, but this is one topic that should be treated with much more care and sensitivity.
Overall, My Lovely Wife is weirdly watchable for those who enjoy a good campy melodrama, despite the cringe-factor. If you're like me, most short-lengths over 6.5 are watchable enough for a "quick drama fix" especially when you are short on time and looking for low-commitment TV. But if you do want additional -- or better -- alternatives set in the modern day, (in no particular order) Destined to Meet You, Ready for Love, Forever Love, Secretary Bai Wants to Resign Everyday, Night of Love With You, Love at Second Sight, Better A Lie Than A Truth, are all superior mini dramas compared to this one.

Delightful Bite sized drama
So glad I didn’t let the rating fool me! This wasn’t a huge commitment as so many Cdramas are. The story was very fast paced. It wasn’t easy to figure out the next sequence of events. Trigger warning for those with issues surrounding suicide. There were some cheesy elements but they helped move the story in a faster pace.I hope I find more stories like this one. Totally worth the watch when you don’t have a lot of time to dedicate to a full series. I’ve watched some 30 min episode dramas that I still felt the need to watch on 1.5 speed. This one beats all of those.
The cast played their roles really well. Totally recommend.

Melodramatic but I like the leads!
I am in the mood for mini series. I watched this drama after watching Zheng Nan Xi's other mini drama, Love at Second Sight.What I liked:
1) The visuals - Wow, I'd say both Li Pei En and Zheng Nan Xi are visually stunning. Li Pei En, whom I find very handsome, resembles B.A.P's Jung Daehyun while Zheng Nan Xi, whom I find very pretty, resembles Blackpink's Jennie & Twice's Nayeon. I think the stylist made the right choice of outfits for their characters. I love Xu Nian's chic wardrobe.
2) The romance - Good development of romance considering Gu Mingyan dislike people touching him. Love the scenes when Nan Xi helped Mingyan to overcome his fear. Wish there were more kissing scenes.
3) Mutism - I actually liked Nan Xi when she was mute. It's great to see a main character doing sign language and also adorable that the other main character learns the sign language.
4) Shots - I enjoy the quality shots of this mini drama because it felt like a good quality movie. The colours are sharp and vivid.
What I disliked:
1) Villains - There were too many villain arcs in this story. Jiang Wanli arc was overly done - at times her character felt like a caricature because of the overacting. Gu Hongyu's , Mingyan's uncle, arc was clear from the start but Grandpa Gu's arc was confusing. I get a villain vibe from him and I think what Hongyu at the end was true.
2) Multiple arcs - I also dislike the multiple arcs given to the supporting characters because this approach made the mini drama cluttered and too melodramatic.

My Lovely wife is a cute miniseries with a fake couple turned into real lovers storyline. This kind of story needed lengthier episodes for character development and a well elaborated revenge plot. The writing is choppy and the story lacks fluidity. Although the leading couple has a nice playful chemistry, their intimate scenes lack a sense of strong mutual attraction; still, the leading couple’s relationship is the best element of this drama since, for the rest, the acting was lousy, for the most part. The plot on this drama is simple but the antagonists were outrageous and laughable. Probably the worst character in this drama is the grandfather and his shenanigans, especially toward the male lead. veramente un bel mini drama,scoperto per caso è stata una fortuna,mi è piaciuto tanto. storia avvincente, scorre veloce senza annoiare, e senza tempi morti e lungaggini, che ti fanno passare la voglia di seguirlo.Cast ben composto, belli i protagonisti e buona chimica, insieme carini piaciuta anche la regia. I REALLY LIKED IT
i really loved this drama. i think it was cute, so much so that i finished it within two days. the story line kept me hooked although kinda cliche but it really got interesting when they revealed that the fml was the grandaughter of the ceo and that the ml wasn’t the biological grandson of the ceo. that twist had me suprised.the twists were good and the chemistry between the leads was nice too. i wish that this drama had a few more episodes but overall this is definitely a drama i reckon for anyone who wants to watch a sweet and short drama.

lovely rom com
I wasnt expecting much from drama but it was a really nice easy watch the story was good and both the ml and fl were great. the only annoying thi g was that the episodes were only 10 mins long fab show will definately watch other shows with this ml and fl in it as they had great chemistry and made the show watchable. this is the first short episode drama i have really enjoyed others have been rubbish or very sleazy whichbis not my cup of tea. can anyone suggest similar dramas with this type of storyline please?Was this review helpful to you?
