On the seaside is the house of Saimura Keiko. She lives a loveless life with her husband, Kikuji, who works for a fishing company, and lives a hollow life both physically and mentally while caring for her five-year-old daughter, Yoshiko, and going to a town factory. In front of Keiko, her former lover, Kawai Shinya, appears for the first time in ten years. The phantom of love with Shinya is revived in Keiko's heart for a moment. Before he can think about it, Shinya decides to kill Kikuji. For now on, two lovers escape together, but are old feelings and now a crime enough to keep them together?
