Short and thrilling competition for creative logical and number puzzles lovers
I enjoyed the logic and number puzzles here as it was interesting to see how they made simple concepts/ games into a complicated one (e.g. a rock scissors paper game into a game about memorization and object permance). The most interesting part for me was when the participants talk about their approaches, shortcut methods and tricks which makes me gasped at how their brain words like GENIUSES!! And also so that I can use these methods next time if I ever come across puzzles like this LOL (which is probably never). I also appreciated that theres NO games where they had the participants scheming against one another, like a mafia game, or alliances (where the weak participants team up to eliminate the smart ones that we want to see early in the game). As much as how the participants were geniuses, I must commend on how the writer is a genius for creating such creative games (but no surprise because the writer was The Genius's writer).I am also glad to see how well different teams work together, considering the fact that most of them met each other only through the show. I absolutely loved the dynamic of Team KU and SNU and felt that they have great teamwork.
Overall, I highly recommend this short and binge-able 8 episodes intelligence competition with geniuses competing with one another if you love puzzles and this type of reality shows!

Breath of fresh air among tv competitions.
This has just become my favorite reality tv competition easily. I truly hope we get more seasons!All in all, I think viewers who like math and logic challenges will wholeheartedly enjoy this.
Not a single boring segment, which is even more impressive given the fact that this is a competition that focuses on logic and math challenges and in the abilities of the participants and their strategies, instead of focusing on dramatic fights or scheming.
Another big plus is that the contestants were all great, all very worthy and brilliant, so I rooted for each team at least once. It’s crazy how smart some of these contestants were, they are literal geniuses. I’m in awe of them.
My only warning is that this is super bingeable and it is hard to stop watching between episodes!

Fun. Thrilling. They are amazzzzing!
Just finished binge-watching this. L.finished this in 2 days, thats how good the show is. Short and super thrilling. Mindblowing.. most of the time i just scream "wow". Thats how great they are. ?I just have 2 points that wish the show could do better for season 2 (cos definitely hoping for s2!!!!). Hoping that there would be other non math games, like sciences (chem/physics/bio).. just for it to be more 'wholistic'?. . Also I have little disagreement with one team just joing on day 2/round 2 of main matches because it's just not entirely fair everyone who were there competing from day 1. Or at least give them an additional challenge or disadvantage?.. nevertheless the original teams proved their worth. And my fave team won so yeeeehey!
But definitely recommended and a must watch for avid fans of exciting quiz/logic/strategy-type survival shows!

An exciting game show that will put your brain on fire in a very entertaining way !!!
I loved the concept of this TV show: teams of students from different universities face each other around games requiring a lot of brain power. Some games are more exciting than others, but the showrunner managed to have a nice variety and rythm all throughout the lenght of the show.I enjoyed the casting: there were clearly some players that had a bit more screen time but overall it was quite well-shared between the universities and the various students. My favorite team wins which I highly appreciated. I was expecting it given the editing which made it relatively obvious, but in any case it was in overall very satisfying to watch and super exciting to follow as the competition unfolded.
Production was adequate in conveying the essence of the games, with the rules being very well explained and allowing the viewer to even participate and try to find the solutions as well. The soundtrack was not very noticeable (neither in a bad or good way). The budget felt a bit limited at some point as I think the producers could have let students use more hi-tech and technological means to take notes and define strategies in order to make it even more visually appealing for the viewers.
I would recommend this to people looking for an entertaining competition show with a lot of mind games and exciting intellectual battles. This show is really all about participating with your skills foremost and your brain power. There is some strategies but no tricks nor manipulation nor hidden alliances...The objective is clearly to prove yourself with your intelligence alone and that's really refreshing overall.

Best example of how much fun and thrilling maths and puzzles are
Wow just wow.All the genius and brilliant contestants, giving their best to solve puzzles and quizzes. when at last Hyun-bin said that after entering med he forgot his purpose, that one hit home. I think throughout my degree I forgot that passion, that competitiveness I had in highschool and I'm graduation soon. This contest made me realize how much I loved those things and how much I still am capable of it. I think it'll give the boost, motivation, and just some spirit to everyone who watched it.
But srsly everyone were soo good , like genuinely just soo brilliant and good I'm beyond amazed.

My brain is burning but it was worth it!
Aside from the fact that I have a headache from all the thinking this show made me do, this was such a good watch! Watching people do something they're good at while you also try to figure it out is a weird kind of fun I enjoy.What I loved:
1) The Teamwork! I live for the teamwork on variety/ survival shows. Though most of the games were mind power based, the preparation and strategy needed to figure out the solutions needed a lot of teamwork and I think for strangers (it did seem like they met on the first day of the show), all the teams worked together incredibly well.
2) The Games. I tried to play along but it's hard when the focus keeps shifting to the people actually supposed to be playing! I guess that was the point though, but the games they picked were genuinely so interesting. It was a mix of very common games, made much more complicated than they usually are and I loved it.
3) No betrayals or backstabbing or deceit. Strong words, but this may have been my favorite part of this show. There's always this aspect of having to betray someone you form an alliance with in elimination style competition, but I loved that each university was a team, and there was no need to form alliances and break them to get ahead in the game, just their skills.
What I didn't like:
1) MATH! So much maths!
The only thing I didn't like, like throw some trivia in there or something. They did have some games based on strategy, reasoning and probability, but a solid chunk of it was maths.
I had a great time with this, it was the break I needed from all the thinking I had to do for my assignments, projects and such.. more thinking.. loved it.

a show worth binge-watching!!!
It's so amazing to see how different contestants come up with their own strategies during matches, seeing their strategies made me question my knowledge and ask myself 'How did they even think of that?' and the death matches between two universities were always thrilling and tense. As someone who enjoys these kinds of games, I also enjoyed trying to solve some of the games and learned some of their techniques while watching the show! SERU BANGET!! Wow, no wonder kalau nonton drakor selalu ada scene mereka belajar mati-matian bahkan sampe malem masih les. Kompetisinya kerasa banget.
Ini kalau aku masih sekolah abis nonton ini kayanya 50:50. Mapuluh merasa diri sendiri tulul, mapuluhnya termotivasi belajar?
