In order to escape violence from her father, Hyun Jae (16) attracts Hae In (45), who has been searching for her missing daughter for over 10 years, into her grand scheme. After getting saved by Hae In from the grasp of her father, Hyun Jae hopes Hae In will be her mother and decides to leave her actual family behind. For the course of the summer vacation, Hyun Jae gets to live with Hae In. And as the summer days go on, Hyun Jae, who has always loved singing, finds her true voice and gradually recovers her lost peace. Hyun Jae, however, wants more. She wants these summer days to last forever. Hyun Jae continuously tries to penetrate Hae In’s lonely heart in hopes of replacing her lost daughter, Yun Seul. Hae In, on the other hand, feels guilty for being happy without her daughter. Upon seeing the guilt on Hae In’s face, Hyun Jae realizes that she cannot replace Hae In’s daughter, and this sense of deprivation forces her to destroy what little Yun Seul has left behind. As their relationship meets its greatest crisis, Hae In is informed that her missing daughter may have been found.
