Hara Misuzu works as a high school teacher and prefers to keep a distance from her students. In the past, she was raped by her best friend’s boyfriend, Hayafuji, after he found out she liked him. She didn't report the crime to the police, and she didn't tell anyone else what had happened. She still suffers from the trauma of what happened, but she continues to have a forceful relationship with Hayafuji, who is now her best friend’s fiancee. One day, a rumor spreads that her student, Niizuma Yuki, is having a secret affair. Hara Misuzu, as his teacher, has a meeting with him to provide counseling. Triggering!!! Depressing but Important Message
Please don't watch this movie if you are easily triggered because it will drive you crazy with it's trauma. It's violent, raw and heart-wrenching. It will make you cry, make you angry and wish for death on certain characters. It's just a sad movie.The message and reality of SA is important, I also get that it's important to depict SA in a realistic way. But that doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt to look at and experience. I was even shocked to learn that they didn't use an intimacy coordinator for their sex scenes especially the violent ones.
It's hard to accept that the way they depicted her relationship with her student. Hurt people hurt other people I guess, but that was so messed up.
I was even angry at the way it ended.
