"CHEAT" is a new boys’ love (BL) series made in the Philippines which breaks the mould of conventional BL stories; gone is the shock value of two boys falling in love - that’s a fact that has been a reality since humans first populated the earth. CHEAT accepts this as part of normal life and, instead, has created a serial story that deals with the themes of stolen innocence, jealousy, lust, and betrayal. Under the genre of psychological thriller, "CHEAT" delves into the maelstrom of intimate relationships within a tightly knit family - all of this with an underlying backdrop of witchcraft and the supernatural - a theme so very popular with Filipino audiences. CHEAT revolves around five main young characters; an innocent young man, Vee, who has had an unusual sheltered upbringing. Vee lives with his full-time guardian, an apostolic nun. The series concerns the effect that Vee has on 3 siblings: Dong, Jennifer, and Jay. The siblings live with their mother, who dabbles in witchcraft. Ok so first I'm gonna say this was so much better than I expected. Idk what I was looking for but I found I and more! If you want something fluffy and sweet? You came to the wrong place. You want something full of deceit, witchcraft and sex? LOOK NO FURTHER!Visuals were amazing and Jennifer is the villain you're gonna love to hate. Story was something I've never seen in a BL with a mix of horror and lust. The ending was too refreshing and I need a Season 2 like...yesterday! Lol
It was short but worth the watch

I must admit my expectations in the beginning were low for this one. A studio I'd never seen anything from, actors I'd never heard of. And yet, I was proven wrong.The dynamics between the characters are so vivid. Everyone has their own destinct personality, all of which are quite dark.
This drama deals with religion on a whole other level. The nun who keeps punishing herself for human desires, and the witches who thrive from it.
Also, I was glad to see witchcraft was finally represented correctly. Although you have to keep in mind these people do practice dark magick, so please do not replicate.
The spicy scenes were also well-acted, with the chemistry being on point every single time.
And lastly, my genuine thanks for the plot twist at theend. This is one of the first time's I didn't see the twist coming until just before.
