Both the male leads are superior (like the are famous)
TFIY is a modern Chinese drama where as YSIMD is based on ancient times.

Historical Chinese dramas with a poisoned ML who has lost something because of it (his emotions or intelligence). The FL is able to cure/help him.

Have the same writer so you can expect the drama to have super romantic scenes and unwavering love between the leads

- their interaction/relationship started from a “contract”
- the emperor dad is the same
- all characters with Mo surname are hot XD

Historical set, breezy dramas. In both the ML has been poisoned (although it doesn't affect his health, only his senses in YSMD), and the FL is the only one who can ease or cure his condition which results in the two living/working together.

Both ML's are kind of special. In YSMD the ML doesn't have senses, doesn't know emotions and he's kind of innocent to love because of that. In MDB the ML has the same innocence, he doesn't know how to differentiate emotions especially love. Both FL's arrive in unfamiliar surroundings and want to escape as soon as possible but end up slowly falling in love with the clueless ML.

Both MLs have a difficulty that the FL is able to help them overcome (lack of senses vs. lack of emotions). Both MLs seem cold at first but become very warm in time. Although one is historical, and the other modern day, the pacing and tone seem similar.
