Story: The story revolves around a young boy who was 'cursed' with a mysterious aura suppressed within him. Because of this curse, he secludes himself from others and yearns to be normal. After he is accused of murder due to his 'curse', he runs away in an attempt to discover the truth behind the murder, and along the way he finds love, friendship and family. In his journey to find the truth, he uncovers more than he has ever imagined - his 'curse'.Acting/Cast: I literally fell in love with every character in this - from the main characters to even the minor supporting characters. Yang Mi and Li Yi Feng were a very sweet couple but a little dull at times. But I can't help but love them. They have a very rather bitter sweet relationship. Not sure why, but it did get a little annoying hearing her call "Su Su" all the time.. XD My favourite 'couple' were probably Zheng Shuang and Ma Tian Yu... their cute bickering was adorable. I love how naturally they appeared with one another that I always looked forward to watching their scenes the most. Who impressed me the most in this was probably Qiao Zhen Yu - I have never seen him nor heard of him before but his portrayal of his character was brilliant. *SPOILER* He played one of the best villians I've seen IMO. It doesn't hurt that he's quite good looking too!
Music: I actually loved both the opening and ending songs - they were beautiful. Though I don't really know who the singers are as I'm not very familiar with Chinese music. I love the sound of chinese oriental music so much! Even the background music that was played during any battles was rather upbeat and 'exciting'.
Rewatch Value: I don't rewatch shows much because I don't have time to and there's always so many new dramas coming out. But, I would be willing to sit through this again with english subs as I'm sure I must of missed something because I'm not 100% fluent with chinese especially when modern speech isn't used.
Overall: I highly recommend this drama especially if you like the ancient fantasy type dramas (aka wuxia). The story was wonderfully written and the actors did an amazing job with giving us this drama. Like any other wuxia dramas, the costumes are beautiful! I guess the only drawback is the 'awesome' CGI effects that they used - very typical CGI in these dramas. I know some people who cannnot stand the CGI, but to me they were beautifully created so I don't mind too much.

The storyline is based on a videogame where main characters join together to kill Boss monsters and take from them energy pills ! So this isn't enough to make a 50 episodes drama... you'll get then many secondary stories .... The main story is progressing too slowly and is spoiled by too many characters who don't even give any better value to the show. We are eager to know more about the main characters and their ineractions. Over all, many hilarious scenes make us enjoy this drama. I recall episode 19 which made me laugh to death ! The different love stories of this drama make us feel frustrated. Don't expect to find in here intense emotional love story, there isn't even one single kiss !
Of course, main character Baili Tusu (Li Yi Feng) is quite interesting and you really want to know whether he will get rid of his evil aura and if he will finally share Qing Xue (Yang Mi)'s love feelings. You will also be quite interested in discovering Ouyang Shao Gong's wherabouts and obsession to revive his lost beloved wife. Is he really a friend to Baili Tusu ? Honestly, actor Qiao Zhen Yu gives mystery, charm and genuineness to Shao Gong,
Most of all, acting is the very good point of this drama. Li Yi Feng is impressive and handsome as he always is and Qiao Zhen Yu just outstanding ! Support roles actors are currently well known chinese actors, some of them were at their early beginnings ( Zheng Ye Cheng, William Chan, Vengo Gao, Leon Zhang...) so this make this drama a must watch one ! Ray Ma is very funny, playing a spoiled young man in love with a young fox demon girl... I think Yang Mi's and Dilraba Dilmurat's ways of acting are much more interesting in this drama than in their recent ones.
Finally, I enjoyed watching this drama, the 10 last episodes are really thrilling, lively, and really entertaining !

The story stemmed from a boy who acquired a murderous aura because of a sword his tribe was entrusted to guard, and the heavenly Crown Prince who was trying to unite his soul which was split into two. Both had to suffer immense pain.
The drama is good but not among the top league. The story was much ado about nothing. For example, why had the Crown Prince sought such a big detour to re-unite his soul? It had already been a thousand years. He could have approached the guarding tribe and told them who he was, and what he needed and found a more direct way to re-unite his soul without such a huge upheaval.
Also, episode 48 was a big yawn. The group was supposed to be preparing for a battle. Tusu had only three days to sustain his power, yet they were indulging in leisurely mushy conversations and enjoying romantic moments under the starlight. I must have been hardened by watching too much drama - I find them neither touching nor romantic. The romance between Li Yi Feng and Yang Mi were not well played up - failed to stir up any emotion in me.
There were these persistent attempts by people around trying to dissuade the key people from certain course of action - don't do this, don't do that - after a while it became really annoying - perhaps this is the Chinese culture.
The audio on YouTube videos was muted in a number of spots - and one of the theme music sounded very familiar - I suspect there was copyright issues which did not allow it to be broadcast outside of China.
However, if you are locked down in this pandemic and running out of entertainment, this could still be worth watching.

I WAS LIKE WTF HOW WILL YOU GIVE A SAD ENDING TO A GREAT DRAMA LIKE THIS AND I HAVE ONE MORE THING TO TELL YOU GUYS

So coming back to this drama story is based on first game, it has very popular cast, story takes time to progress like any 50-60 plus c dramas, Visual effects are not that great but for me, I don't mind if the story is interesting, some parts looked interesting some didn't, music was not bad, some of the supporting cast was good, but didn't like the character Fang Lan Sheng he was irritating but the actor who did that role is a good actor, but his character really tests viewers patience, the show quality would have increased more if they reduced the episodes, Romance is there, but it's light no kiss scenes, story focus on male lead and his friends and their adventure what they see, learn and how they grow and overcome difficulties etc.
Supporting characters are also given importance, they are not just there for names sake, but they also contribute to the story world, some of the story arcs were good, but main part of the story sometimes pauses and takes few episodes to continue and most of the major revelations are made after 40 episodes, show faces issues faced by any popular Chinese dramas that is 50-70 episodes long ie clichés, story getting dragged etc.
It's one time watch, maybe playing the game is better than watching the drama some issues might have happened when it was made into a drama and lost the best parts.

Another heartbreaker
Three for three: dramas I have dropped because of the endings. The acting has been noteworthy - I liked so many of the characters (and despised the villains, showing that the actors did a great job in their roles) - and despite his current troubles, I loved Li Yi Feng in this, and will continue watch his dramas regardless.BUT I watch these shows to escape, not to be heartbroken in the end. I'm not into the 'next life', 'together in eternity' crap. I want the happy ending where the couple shares weal and woe and end up together. I couldn't invest 50 episodes only to be weeping at the end for the characters I grew to love.
So... on to the next title with more hopes of romance and intrigue and most of all, a happy ending!
