Perhaps this review is biased because I am in love with Fan Bing Bing, but overall I found this Chinese rom-com to be a very good Chinese rom-com - meaning, yes, expect the slap stick comedy, that one scene that is poorly CGI-ed, and the often ridiculous storyline. But what's a good rom-com without all these traits? I digress.

Fan Bing Bing and all her supporting men have amazing chemistry in this drama. Her character is the beautiful, successful, and single character leading a lot of rom-coms nowadays, but Bing Bing makes the character relatable and memorable. Watching her on her Mamma-Mia-esque quest to find the baby daddy didn't drag on, until a bit of angst set in near the end of the film. But the conclusion was worth it, as all the character remain likable throughout.

The wardrobe and set styling were all beautiful throughout the drama, as was the smooth directing by Eva Jin. As the writer/director of this film, you can see a lot of similarities with her past work, Sophie's Revenge, but a LOT of improvements as well.

This movie remains one of my favorite romantic comedies, would recommend if you're in the mood for something light, silly, and aesthetically pleasing (Aarif is so so handsome and how does Bing Bing look so young in this).

when i first looked at this page, i was surprised (hah get it?) to find that there was no review and was tempted to watch it for that reason.

this movie is very obscure considering it's plot i would've thought there were some love as the recommendations for three dads one mom and one night stud have.

i had yet to have seen a chinese movie but i was pleasantly overwhelmed at the slapstick comedy and humor this movie had to offer.

for the plot i gave it a 7.5 rating because it was a somewhat new idea but played very cliche-ingly. a woman gets drunk and gets pregnant from a one-night stand? big deal! the father is someone among her coworkers? hmm i see... i don't want to lie and say that i didn't skip a few boring parts in the movie.
interestingly enough, the plot manages to tie itself together and make for a somewhat enjoyable comedy with a few moments that got me teary (ugh).

acting and cast was.......decent enough. definitely enjoyed the eye candy.

music??????? there was music??????when?? lol (i mean that it was forgettable and didn't really make a big impact on this movie so low rating for music)

lastly, for rewatch value, as boring this movie was i did enjoy it and laughed here and there so i can definitely say theres a small chance ill revisit this movie again. it was a nice break from all the goblin angst im going through atm.

hope my review was of some value!

I really loved this movie, which was surpring since I cringed really bad when I read the plot.

The story is definitely unoriginal and there's a pair of clichés here and there, but it doesn't take anything away from the movie. It's lighthearted, hilarious.
The leads have great chemistry, plus they are so sweet and relatable (Michelle reactions whenever she's embarassed are priceless), I ended up checking out other works from both Fan Bing Bing and Aarif Rahman.
And of course it's always a pleasure seeing Daniel Henney.

Unoriginal, yet entertaining; funny

If you like the older women/younger man trope than this is for you and of course if you like Fan Bing Bing and Aarif Rahman.

Storyline/Plot: The storyline is not original but it was a nice touch on the whole one-night stand trope. It was funny, which was good since it wasn't so serious of a movie. I liked how the movie didn't take itself serious since their was not One serious moment. I didn't expect it to be that funny as I tried to not wake up my whole household. In the beginning, I thought it was gonna be a bad movie the way it started but I was wrongly mistaken.

Acting/Cast: I liked the cast, I am not a serious fan of Fan Bing Bing since she always looks like she is in a photoshoot. Also, I don't keep up with her in general. She was really good playing her character thought even though she (the character), Michelle was frustrating at times. On the other hand, Aarif Rahman was good since I am familiar with his drama's. This was the first time watching his movies yet his acting was different than his drama's. Which I guess was because of the character that he plays. Also, his English is very good since this is a Chinese/English mixed movie. I hope that he does more of these one day. Also, his facial expressions are so realistic and funny.

In conclusion, I really would recommend this for entertaining purposes, something light hearted and not to take seriously. Especially, if its late at night and you want something to watch but don't want to start a 40+ episode drama.
