"Oh it's one of those stories," I first thought to myself when I skimmed the summary to watch Wedding Dress. It is a given that it was going to be a sad movie from the cliche of a cancer patient korean drama, but I just didn't expect how beautiful it would be.

I give the story an 8 because it's a bit expected, but there are scenes that are carefully placed within the movie that really grab and add to how hard you will sob when watching this movie.

The acting I will have to give a 10 because of the little girl who, in all honesty, made the whole movie. Her acting was so real that you could feel her pain, just watching her made your heart ache.

I watched this awhile ago, but the music isn't memorable but it isn't distracting either. It helps create the mood, and doesn't overshadow the movie.

I gave this an overall 10 because I watched this movie on a Korean airlines plane, in broad daylight among many other passengers and still managed to shamefully sob because the movie really does break your heart. It's especially fun to watch a stranger watch this movie next to you and laugh when they try so hard to not cry. This movie will stay with you, I suggest it to anyone who doesn't mind crying a bit.

one of the saddest movies I've ever seen...the story line may seem ordinary, but the amount of feelings in it! oh my, with every dropping tear my heart aches...I ended up with a pillow soaked with tears...and I'm not kidding...highly recommended for one of those night when you feel like crying but you don't know how.

I've seen a lot of tearjerker movies but very few movies made me cry like this one. I was bathing in my tears and had to change my shirt after watching it; it was all because of the theme of mother-daughter relation. After watching it, this movie left me thinking about mother-child relationship and also added some positiveness in me. I agree that directing, acting and many other aspects of filming makes a great movie but I don't know any of them well at all and I don’t care about them (I care but not much). But most important things are emotions and attachment with movie and you'll feel them with this movie.

Well, this movie is all about mother-daughter bonding. The story is typical, nothing is special and predictable but still it have some magic in it and lots of emotions.

Acting is really superb. Song Yoon Ah portrayed her character as a mother perfectly and hats off to Kim Hyang Gi as Sora. Seriously these two actresses are great. Their chemistry as mother-daughter is beautiful. Supporting cast is also very good.

Music is synchronized well with movie. It supports the story and flow of movie well but it isn't special. You won’t remember it at all.

I’ll definitely watch it again many times to feel its warmth and to test my tendency of not crying in front of others. I think this movie has ability to break my tendency. I'm probably going to watch it with friends in near future.

Overall this is a great, heart-warming movie.

I strongly recommend to watch this movie. Even if you can't handle/hate melodramas and tearjerkers you should watch it.

I do not have much to say about the movie. It had never been on PTW list at the first place, so I was kind of watching it without ample idea of what story it would tell about. Even the title itself does not really suggest anything about the storyline.

However, i would just say that this movie is one of those movies, which out of the ordinariness, can still touch your heart deeply. It is not that dramatic; there are tons of movies out there that would make you cry hundreds times more but this one can tear you up anytime as you witness the beautiful journey of the love between a mother and daughter. There were times where tears just unexpectedly rolled down my cheek.

Acting was generally satisfactory. The little girl looked familiar, then I found out that she is the girl in Korean remake of The Queen's Classroom. I didn't watch that drama though, but knew her from the ost MV (her face resembles Exo’s D.O so much, it stuck to my mind hahaha). She seemed talented, but I couldn't judge her just from the MV, but this movie proved her talents. At such young age, her acting was not awkward at all. It was very natural!

The music doesn't stand out- nothing memorable I guess. But not to the point it damages the beauty of the story. How the movie being told though, could have been better. It was just too mediocre. Anyway it’s worth a try!

It was simply beautiful and real. There are not enough praises to justify the greatness of this movie. This is the only Asian movie I have watched that has received 10 marks in each category.

Undoubtedly this drama was heart-breaking but what made it exceptional was that it felt so natural- I could relate with everything in the story despite not having experienced any of it- which itself speaks volumes.

The cast was exceptional. I would have never expected a girl aged 10 to act like Sora did but every tear of her made millions of my tears fall. Most importantly, there was no character that felt unneeded or someone you would want kill as soon as you get a chance!

I never pay attention to music but this time I couldn't ignore it- Sora's song about her mother was heart-melting.

When I need a reminder about truly how much I have and the troubles other face in this world this would be the first thing I watch.

There is no flaw at all in this movie in my opinion so I recommend you to watch it right now with a box of tissue next to you...no tear would be unmeaning with this drama.

Wedding Dress is actually a good movie but I thought it would effect me emotionally more. I didn't cry at all which surprised me.

The Story: It's nothing you haven't already seen but it's always a topic that is kinda hard to deal with. Losing your parents when you are so young must be really hard.

Acting/Cast: I watched it because I knew Lee Ki Woo because of Flower Boy Ramyun Shop and I liked his role pretty much. This time he has a supporting role but still did a good job. I was surprised how good Kim Hyang Gi actually was. She was 9 by that time and her acting was already amazing. She did it with so many emotions.

Rewatch Value: I'm not that much of a rewatcher but Wedding Dress would be a movie I'd really like to rewatch some time.

Kim Hyang Gi, as So Ra, deserves an acting award for her performance in this movie!

Although Song Yoon Ah as Seo Go Eun was the lead actress in this movie, young Kim Hyang Gi as Jang So Ra, Seo Go Eu's daughgter deserves a special acting award for her portrayal of the daughter of a dying mother, especially in the ending scene!

From her acting out (due to not understanding "what was wrong" with Mommy), to her taking charge and making her dying mother proud of her, she pulled out an award-winning performance, IMHO, second to none.

Credit should also go to the martial arts instructor, who intervened to get the ballet instructor to catch So Ra up so that her mother could see her perform before dying.

Unfortunately, I recommended this movie to a friend a week ago, found it on YouTube, but was very upset that the person uploading it cut 10 minutes off of the film, taking out So Ra dancing with the big flower on her dress so that mother Seo Go Eun could see her dance with her failing eyesight (next to the last scene in the original movie.

You could feel the heartache of the support cast seeing a loved one die and not being able to do one thing about it!

The movie was done so that all the loose ends were tied off, and So Ra ultimately overcame her loss as the next-to-last scene showed.

WARNING: Have a least a full (new) box of Kleenex on hand before starting this movie!

Okay first if all mother daughter/son stories will simply got me. First time I watched it I was challenged by the friend of mine. Back then I was sceptical about K-Drama because all of the girls who watched K-Drama would only bugging up and brag about how handsome the actor was, BUT THIS ONE HIT ME HARD! Like real real hard. Damn! The way Kim Hyang Gi act was simply brought me to tears. I am not talking about sobbing I am talking about craying a river. All the casts and the story was breath taking. The moment of the saddest part was got me like no other. I really wasn’t expecting that. But for the vote I would give it a perfect 10 for the rewatch value, in fact I will not re-watch it. Because I am enough of the pain it gives me (which makes it a real good movie).
