New Generation: The Hurt Locker (2021)

Amazing,Inspiring Story!!! Must Watch!!

To be honest im writing this review as soon as i finished the episodes of this story and alot of emotions im expiriencing at once!! Scroll down if you want conclusion whether you want to watch it or not!

First thing this story or ML character taught me not to give up no matter what if you believe you can succeed in something then never give up.

I never knew army had this division so watching it gave me immense respect for them. Damn while watching it i was nervous that what if the mines explodes....so I cannot even imagine how the real soldiers feel in a actual surronding and with a real mine in hand. Its terrifying.

I liked the direction of the story...its about the male lead who joined army by the quota of martyr of military family that is male lead's father sacrificed himself in duty. So he got a chance to join the army. For him it was a good choice as he wasnt good at something he was made to do and he wanted to get away from his personal life (as his mom remarried and he didnt get along well with his stepdad).
He after joining the army ,he found out about the EOD elites soldier and got attracted to that major like his real dad. He wanted to became a sapper or EOD soldier who is the first one to go on a mine field and remove the mines. For him being a EOD soldier is meaningfull than living a ordinary life.

So the story has two part 1st is the flashback when the ML got to know about the EOD major and the male lead training starts as a EOD soldier trainee where he also meets his new friends/ team and his best friend and 2nd part is the present that is after 5 years of training and him becoming the commander of his EOD team. They balanced both parts well. It shows the struggle of soldier and also being a soldier of a martyr military family. It also the how all the lives impact surrounding the soldier and how everyone take risk of sending them off to military life having a fear of uncertainity. Its touching story too.

This story has all from training to his personal life to his current life scenes. If you will watch this story , you will get roller coaster emotions (good feelings) and you dont where to start and how to end and hownto express it You can keep on saying and saying.....

I loved the friendship in this story of all the friends of male lead's and his relationship with them. They are loyal to each other no matter what circumstances they face. Some of may think if there is any romance well sorry to break it you all but no there is no romance but lots of fun scenes with his friends. I liked the part where he gave flower to chemistry teacher but instead of proposing he gave it to her to teach him chemistry as he terribly poor at the subject. I thought the teacher and him will end up together but no they have cordial and good relation as teacher-student. The chemistry teacher was shown till his training days.

I loved the instructor and male lead scenes , i admire the instructor of EOD and search major alot and all the teacher or the male lead squad in military and their instructor. If you watch the story,then you will knows whom im talking about. All the relation with male lwad is difderent and special and i loved the bond or the connection with them!

The fav scenes in this 8 episodes where the last scene where the ACTUAL EOD SOLDIER talk about their military life. Actually the episode is based on their talks as i can relate to some scenes when they talk at the end. And hearing the actual soldier talk is so so good (lots of emotion going on so sorry if i say something again and again)

I must say that ALL THE ACTORS AND ACTRESSES DID ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC JOB IN ACTING. THEY PUT THEIR 10000000% IN THEIR ACTING. FOR ONCE YOU CANNOT EVEN TELL THAT THEY ARE ACTING. ITS SO TOUGH TO BE THE EOD SOLDIERS BUT THE ACTORS DID AMAZING JOB LIVED UP TO THE ROLE AND DID GREAT JUSTICE TO ROLE. ITS REALLY DIFFICULT TO ACT LIKE THIS AND I MUST SAY NO MATTER HOW THE ROLE OF CHARACTER MAYBE ,EVERY ROLE OF ACTOR OR ACTRESSES DID THEIR BEST AND MADE THIS STORY OF THE DRAMA SO GOOD!!!

8 episodes and i was fully engrossed in it, 42 mins didnt bore me and it gave me literally chills, excitement, laughter and smiling all at the same time. It was worth it! This story is worth it! Give it a try you wont be dissapointed! From the songs to soldier's militay songs all is perfect and good to hear! You will be satisfied at the end of the story ! From the concept to visual to acting and even casting the actors/actresses etc is perfect,they nailed it!

It is worth to watch this story of the drama! I want to write more but if i start writing then it will turn into an essay! So I hope you all like it!
